I've received a sample of this eye creme before and tried it, the thing is it's VERY fragranted. Almost smells like lotion to me, and putting fragrance that close to your eyes never made me feel too comfortable. I also noticed it wasnt nourishing like an eye cream , many other eye creams I tried feel like they are actually seeping into my pores and nourishing, therefore making my undereyes feel softer. However, with this product I didn't really see that it just genuinely felt like I put lotion underneath my eyes, it was heavy, a bit uncomfortable and I just wouldn't recommend it unless you are looking for a fragranted, thick eye cream. I will be using this one again, and cannot wait to monitor my visible progress. Amazing cream - highly recommend!

I would give this more than five stars if I could. I originally received a small jar of this in the Bay Beauty advent calendar. I loved it so much I bought a full size jar direct from Lancôme. I’m 43 and have always struggled to find an eye cream for my sensitive skin. This product has dramatically improved the skin around my eyes - so much more hydrated and less visible lines/wrinkles. It’s absolutely improved the appearance of my eyes - they look less tired and younger. I was seriously considering Botox before this product. I received a sample of the face cream too but could only afford one splurge so that’s next on my list. Love love love this product and highly recommend.

Give it a go!

I have not been using the product for very long, less than 1 month, and have not seen a drastically different eye area. BUT, I have noticed the eye area is well hydrated. I also noticed a slight difference in crows feet and puffiness. Eye area is definitely brighter. As a former Lancome advisor, I know the eye area takes a little longer to notice changes. The skin there is different (hence the need for a proper eye cream as the formulas are adjusted accordingly) and stubborn to change. Be diligent and have patience. It will work. Still Lancome's top of the line and well worth the cost.

But where is that fancy rose extract?Whenever you read an ingredient list, remember that ingredients are listed in order of highest contraction to lowest. All the ingredients I listed are higher up - prior to phenoxyethanol. Phenoxyethanol is approved for use in cosmetics in concentrations of up to 1%. This means anything past it is either 1% or less of the product. Rose extracts in this product do not appear until the 17th ingredient AFTER phenoxyethanol.What does that mean? It means there is very little of those expensive rose extracts in this product. You are primarily paying for water, glycerin, shea butter, beeswax, corn oil, vitamin e, and shimmer. It's going to be a decent and effective moisturizer, but is it worth the extreme high price tag?Ultimately, you can decide how to spend your money. If you want to feel bougie and like you're splurging, hey - more power to you. But don't fall for the shiny claims of the special "signature ingredient" when there's less than 1% of it even in the product.

Lancôme’ Absolue is an absolute.

The best and lightest eye cream I’ve ever had the pleasure of utilizing. There’s no fragrance,it’s not a heavy cream,nor thick per se;yet it gives the results of such. I’ve been using the Lancôme Absolue Revitalizing Eye Cream for a little over a week and I’ve seen the effectiveness earlier than most other eye serums that are much more costly! What I like and find unusually gratifying is the fact that even though I haven’t used it for too long,I already had the notion to jump up and down with glee;and that’s a rarity with eye serums. Quite Impressed

I’ve been using Lancôme Absolue for about two weeks now, and I’m fairly impressed with the results thus far. First thing I notice about facial products is the smell. Being someone who has migraines and very sensitive to smells which can trigger migraines, I was worried this product might smell too rosy. I was actually impressed that the smell, while there, was not overpowering at all and you really don’t smell it at all after application – that is a plus in my book. Having only used the product for two weeks, I haven’t noticed some of the results that other have or results the product claims to help with. I wish it came with an applicator or was a flatter jar, so I could continue to use the pad of my finger to get the product. 4. This product seems like it could last a long time, given the amount you use each time, so the price tag of Absolue doesn’t seem so bad.I’m looking forward to more results as I continue to use the product.
