Le Creuset stainless steel small tea kettle is just perfect! Very good looking tea kettle. When you want one cup or two, this is the perfect size since it is not too heavy to lift and pour the water into your cup. It heats the water very quickly and retains the heat in the water if you use only enough for one cup and then want a second cup the water is still hot. The whistle is a nice feature. I like that the handle moves down so you can easily fill the kettle and then move the handle back up. Bloomingdale's had it come from Le Creuset and it was delivered very quickly and in perfect condition. I know I can always depend on Bloomingdale's for my shopping. Bloomingdale's the best!

We were excited to purchase our first le Creuset product. We chose the Classic Whistling Kettle in Cherry Red. While it is a really gorgeous looking kettle and has a lovely whistle, I was disappointed in the colour. Instead of being vibrant shades of cherry red (as it seems to show in the photo), in person it is really quite, well ⌠orange. If Iâd known that Cherry Red = more of a dark orange, I would have ordered the Agave colour instead. Also the spout doesnât pour super well (lots of water on the counter if you pour too slowly). All said, however, itâs a jolly looking kettle and the sound is nostalgic. Itâs also pretty clear that the product is well-made. It looks beautiful on the stove.

So I was happy to buy this dishes set due to the fact that I thought the quality would be very good. The dishes are very heavy- and fold down the prongs in the dishwasher- but I was very unhappy to see the bowls getting black marks all over them- almost like the layer of glaze on the bowls was too thin. Now the bowls look awful. I contacted Customer Support because I thought they were defective and wanted them to replace the bowls. All I got from them was- get some Barkeeper's Friend- and clean/scrub off the black marks! What?! Either way I do not recommend these dishes. I am going to drop these off at Goodwill and get new dishes.

I got it out May 25 (4 months after receiving it). It has an inch plus crack on the lid and the enamel is beginning to flake off. I have a 10 qt Stockpot at over twenty years old that has been used many many timesâŚit has no cracks and no problems; my multiple 30+ years old LeCreuset pots have no problems other than normal wear, which does not include any chipping. Body and lid beautiful and functional. Easy to clean. However, the metal components - the filter and upper and lower parts, and the plunger shaft, need redesigned. The ferrule on the bottom of the shaft or the finial at the top of the shaft, needs to be fixed in position, rather than screwed on. This is because it is possible for the finial to become unscrewed, making it near impossible to remove the filter parts for cleaning. A pair of pliers is then required to grip the shaft (leaving scratches) in order to remove the filter components. This is a problem with many cafetiere, but shouldn't be with a premium brand like Le Creuset.
I made a point of reading all the instructions, even though I'm an experienced cook, because Le Creuset is supposed to be one of the BEST, and I wanted to make sure I used it properly. The very FIRST time I cooked on it, I used a low setting (as suggested) and regardless of the type of food; protein, carb, fat, etc. it stuck to the pan. Not just sticky, wipe off with a sponge, but stuck on- ENGRAINED in the pan itself! I used the pan a few more times just to make sure I wasn't losing my mind, but it is definitely an inferior product. It looks like the coating was sprayed on so thinly, that it makes the pan virtually useless. I have owned Le Crueset cookware and wanted to gift the 5-piece set to my daughter who recently moved into her own home. I ordered the "Shallot" set. The set was delivered on September 12th and my daughter quickly realized it was the wrong color. Every piece was "Flame." I contacted customer service to submit a return and replace request. I received the shipping label and instructions. My daughter returned the set. On October 16th, my daughter finally received the replacement set. Upon her dismay, the 5-piece set was again in the wrong color--Flame.I have once again contacted customer service to submit a return request. If they can't get it right, this time, I'm done. It's truly unfortunate because I love the quality of cookware, but refuse to pay for the wrong color.
