Better than T7s

But in a nuclear blast my feet would be the only thing left. The 5.5 is good blend of protection, comfort, feel and agility. Biggest downside is the lack of ankle flex. Can't point your toe. This makes them clumsy when you are off the bike in steep/rocky terrain. And the buckles don't like to close when dirty/sandy. The 4.5 is the goldilocks. Light, comfortable, agile, protective with good feel. They are superior to the T7s in every way with the possible exception of durability. I do worry about the plastic buckles but I'll replace them if they break. I've replaced several straps on T7s. Great boot and a steal.BTW if you ignore the 2 "questionable" reviews these are 5 star rated boots.

Cannot go wrong with this solid, comfy boot.

Most comfortable boot I've ever worn. I've run A-star tech 7s and 11s, Fox Comps, and Gaerne G-React and these by far are the best boots I've owned. They break in easily but no issues of rubbing or pinching even on the first ride. the velcro closure at the top having the one way slide function eliminates folding or pinching when you lock in the top buckle. the buckles are solid as any of the other guys, much more so than the Gaerne's which I would not recommend. Great boot, great protection, great comfort and they keep water/mud out very well (for all you guys like me that ride in the mountains). Also, they fit true to size.s

Excellent Boots!

I really like these boots. They hold up well, Are nice and comfortable, and have plenty of protection. The toebox is nice and slim to easily get my foot under the shifter and enough flex out of the box to operate foot controls. My only issue being the foot peg on my YZ250 broke a chunk of the sole off the side of the boot by the ball of my foot from kick starting the old bike. It's not really a big deal though, just cosmetic. They are surprisingly water resistant and dry fast when compared to my previous oneil boots which were basically giant sponges. Im not saying they are water proof, but definitely better than what I am used to. The soles grip fine when walking or picking up your bike on a failed attempt up a steep hill. The only discomfort I have felt from these boots has been on hills where my ankle flexes sideways weird on the terrain. The boot kind of pokes my ankle around the hinged area of the boot, but they keep me from breaking my ankle too so not sure if its a bad thing.

Good boots!
11 August 2022

Nice boot, decent price, adventure oriented, what's not to like? Read mixed reviews about fit and comfort problems with buckles. Inspected boot inside and out. Good quality, good craftsmanship will work great for riding triumph tiger sport 660. Prompt delivery !,

Good fit, bad buckles.
26 May 2021

The good:The fit is good, I wear an 8.5/9 and bought a size nine and they fit well, just a little room to wiggle my toes. The protection is great, my first time wearing them, I lowsided going about 25-30mph in an uphill turn and my right foot got caught under the bike, i was very sore afterwards but my ankle would have absolutely been broken had I not been wearing these. The boots still look new.The bad:The buckles are trash. They feel cheap and are incredibly difficult to close even when off my foot and in my hand. i have to apply a ton of pressure to close the bottom two buckles, to the point i think im going to break them. These are my first pair of MX boots and i would send them back for this issue had i not had to wait so long for shipping. For reference the buckles on my wife's alpinestar tech 7s are much much smoother, probably because they are metal. I'm not sure if the leatt 5.5 buckles fit on this boot but i would consider ordering them once I inevitably break these.

Great Boot and Value
10 May 2021

Was skeptical at first, but went for it due to the price point. Cannot beat this boot for the price. On par, if not better, than most other brands mid to high end boots. Definitely would consider a premium boot, on par with a tech 7. Love the fit and feel. Slightly wider toe box than most boots, but overall great comfort, feel, and grip on bike. Amazing flex, without feeling too flimsy. Definitely feel secure and protected in boot, while still having amazing movement and feel. Boot has been durable so far, but only about 5 rides on them.

Not to bad
30 July 2021

I give these boots 3 stars only because there pink. My favorite color. As for durability. Not the greatest. I consider myself a average enduro rider. I?ve worn these boots about 8-10 times on minimum 3-7 hours of ride each time. And there already falling apart. The bottom are already getting chewed up. And the leather part material are already ripping. And I also get a little heal float. But beside the cons. The pros of these boots. The comfort is awesome. True to size. And awesome peg feel. Would recommend for beginners.

Had a pair of fox comp boots before these and I can tell just from kicking my bike in the drive way and going around the block Im going to like these 10x more. For a size 13 boot theyre not giant feeling they have a slimmer clave profile than the fox boots for a better fit and the straps lock effortlessly. The armor and materials also seem top notch. I ride enduro with some goons so well see how they hold up. Only got about 3 rides out of the fox boots before I blew out the side but these have much better strutting to them.

Stabbed in the ankle
22 June 2023

These boots look great, and coming from the 5.5 I was excited for a great boot that was also waterproof. But like the other comment here states, there is a sharp stab on the ball of your ankle that makes them not worth wearing even for a few minutes around the house. Very disappointed about this as it seems to be great everywhere else.

WARNING! DO NOT BUY!
23 March 2023

These boots are unwearable. There is a plastic ridge under the ankle strap buckle that WILL grind in your ankle. It was instantly painful the second that I put my foot in the boot. I thought that I would give them a shot so I adjusted the straps and put on my most padded socks that I own. I literally wore them for 3 minutes in my house and couldn't take it anymore. My ankles still hurt 10 minutes later as I am writing this.
