This is not a slam on Evo. Evo is great and their customer service was excellent on this purchase and refund. No problems with Evo. The problem is that these ski poles are light weight, but really really flimsy. I was concerned about this when I first picked them up. I was skiing in deep pow down Campbell Basin and a pole literally snapped in half. Go figure. Evo gave me a full refund.
Lite, simple trigger system,
I like the Leki brand. My previous poles were also Leki. Unfortunately, these that I recently got are very flimsy and they very easily broke on my 2nd day out with them. The gauge and density of the aluminum used appears to have changed, prob, to take cost out, and that's too bad.
Very happy with this purchase. Great look and great quality. Love the interchangeable baskets for icy days and deep snow.
Love them. Light weight and very versatile, whether you have Trigger S compatible gloves or just standard. Gives a wider range of use. I have Trigger S gloves, and it's such a nice and easy lock and load, instead of messing with the straps. But I also tried them out using non-Trigger S gloves, with the straps and they were still awesome. Nice price point for their versatility, and they seem to be very durable, even for a bigger guy like me.
have always hated using pole strips. Now I don't have to - yay! easy to use. Nice light but sturdy pole
We are very happy with out Leki poles and are happy with the Trigger system. Just cam back from a 7 days ski trip in Colorado and the poles worked great.
