Tried and Tested for days before reviewingThis is possibly the best deal you can buy for a 24\" IPS monitor. the display is great, vivid colors to deep blacks and is user editable if color accuracy is your concern (i used my phone to color calibrate). The unit itself is super light due to the plastic exterior with 75mm VESA mount. Along with the features of the display and the free Logitech keyboard and mouse, this is the best buy for me.And I even got a 500 discount too using 'CYBERMONDAYS'

Switching from one high-quality monitor to this LG monitor; I had no problems with the connection before whatsoever. But with this LG monitor, whenever I turn on my PC, the screen shows 'no signal - going into power saving mode'. To fix that, I have to do some random things like unplug and replug the power cable and the HDMI cable every time to get it working. It works just fine once it is connected, but I have to repeat the same thing again whenever I turn my PC on. It is probably not the HDMI not connected, because the monitor can detect if there is HDMI connection or not. To be honest I have no clue what is going with this monitor but do not recommend.

False advertising. I purchased two of these monitors from Amazon. They are listed as having a tilt stand. The stand does not tilt. On both Amazon and here on the LG website they are listed as supporting 75Hz refresh rate. That is not true, it supports 50Hz, 59Hz and 60Hz only. I tried manually setting it to 75Hz and it gave me a black screen saying it was out of range. The monitors are listed as being IPS panels but they display like TN panels. Lastly, my two identical monitors have wildly different color temperatures and there's no way to change it. On the LG website it recommends using LG Calibration Studio, but it doesn't support these monitors. So i'm stuck with mismatched images. I purchased this monitor to replace an older 19" screen that was lower resolution. The larger 1080p display provides excellent resolution. It's not actually "borderless on 3 sides" because there's a 1/4" border on 3 sides. When using 2 monitors side-by-side, that leaves 1/2" between the two screens--better than most monitors in this class. By default, the monitor connects with the Mac at 75Hz, but the standard spec for this model is 60Hz. Visibly, it's not a difference for me. In the 75Hz mode, sometimes when the monitor wakes up after a computer sleep mode, there's a screen full of snow. This problem doesn't seem to happen in the 60Hz mode, so that's where I have it set.The power button/joystick is directly behind the LG logo on the front and easy to miss. This problem doesn't seem to happen in the 60Hz mode, so that's where I have it set.The power button/joystick is directly behind the LG logo on the front and easy to miss. The manual isn't very clear on the location of the power button. Pressing the button quickly pulls up a menu that lets you adjust quick settings, the input (VGA or HDMI), picture settings and general information. There are lots of options for those who like to tweak their monitor. I have found that the default settings work very well. The monitor base is very basic with a flat surface (to help reclaim some of the desktop space taken up) with a vertical tilt swivel on the monitor. For stand or wall mounting there is provision for VESA 75mm mounts.
Not a quality monitor has some kind of technical defects. I bought this on sale in June 2023 and kept it boxed for one year until I started a tax business. Within a week of use display was garbled in multi colors. I have LG refrigerator since 3 years which had compressor issues was fixed since it had warranty and works fine. In 2023 November I purchased 65" LG OLED TV from Costco works fine so far.
Monitor is as advertised & arrived promptly as promised. Screen adjustments are difficult with just one switch that has to be manipulated forward, backward, right, left (by feel, since it is under the bottom of the screen) and won't let me access certain items such as contrast & brightness. Screen has now taken on a yellowish cast that is very annoying, without any inputs by me. It just suddenly started, 2 wks after setup. Is the backlighting failing already? Or what?Setup says screen resolution is wrong - should be 1920x1080 - but my settings say that's where it's at. Maybe bootup step is reporting an error that isn't actually there.
Decent monitor at a decent price. I can't say whether or not it's good for gaming, or day trading, but it is sufficient for my needs which involves periodic checking of my email and my stock portfolio. The monitor is well-made surprisingly because it is made in China by a South Korean company. Nevertheless, I recommend the monitor. I have already purchased two because I was very satisfied with the first purchase.
