I've used this shampoo for a couple of weeks now and safe to say it's one of the worst shampoos I've used. I thought this was a really good shampoo. But I realized that it leaves a gross amount of buildup. At first, this seems like a decent shampoo. But hours after styling, the buildup is noticeable - literally can feel the product buildup when I touch my scalp, and by the next day, my hair is absolutely disgusting. The scent is nice. I think this shampoo has really helped with my hair health. I’ve been using this shampoo for about 2 months now. Previously I thought I had dandruff; however, after switching to this shampoo I haven’t had any issues. I’m also hoping my hair won’t get as greasy anymore either. I like this one better than the “full” line of LP shampoos even though I have fine thin hair. It’s more moisturizing- which also means it’s not super helpful creating any extra volume/body. Will purchase in the larger size next time.

Love this shampoo. I really thought that all shampoos were actually the same but boy was I wrong. I have very thin straight hair - but a lot of it. Tangled hair is what I have experienced all my life. Once I tried Living Proof, I found my hair looked and felt so much better.When I was combing through my hair ,I have never had so little hair breakage and such shiny healthy hair- soft,shiny and clean. That is even without the cream rinse. Of course,using the conditioner makes my hair so much softer and looking lovely. I am sold on these two roducts- and I am 70 years old!

And if that wasn't bad enough....The HORRIBLE SCENT of both the shampoo and conditioner lingered in my hair until my next shampoo day. These products smell like an incompetent or drunk chemist in the lab used a bad combination of cheap chemical fragrance ingredients that end up lingering in the user's hair - and just plain stink!Note: You cannot flip open the cap at top of the container in the store to take a quick sniff of the scent before purchasing. I can say with confidence that this is the best shampoo I have ever used. To start, I have fine hair but a lot of it and I wash my hair every day. My problem with most shampoos is that they leave my hair frizzy, oily, dry, and sometimes they also make my scalp dry. With this, my hair is the perfect texture. Little/no frizz, easy to comb my fingers through, shiny, and overall much healthier. My scalp has zero signs of irritation, my hair doesnt feel too oily by the end of the day (and I could go longer if I wanted to), and my hair is left feeling the softest it has ever been. Overall, I am super happy and willing to pay the price considering the outcome.
I have medium texture 2C hair. I bought this shampoo having heard rave reviews about the brand. I'm bitterly disappointed, having spent so much money on such a small quantity. It leaves my hair feeling dull and stripped. My scalp is dry, my hair texture is frizzier and drier and the overall condition is dull, limp and tangled. I use it once a week as a clarifying shampoo but I have to pre treat my hair with an oil or mask. The only nice thing about this shampoo is the smell.
This shampoo really does give you a perfect hair day! I love how it leaves my hair feeling clean, soft, and smooth. I have tried so many other shampoos that's suppose to be hydrating and all they do is dry my hair out even worse or make my hair so greasy looking. Not this though. My hair is so hard to tame and I have tried just about all shampoos. I am a really big fan of Living Proof as all of their products leave my hair manageable and soft. I could not ask for a better shampoo and conditioner set. If your on the fence you need to go ahead and get this! Your hair will thank you. I recommend 100% Also the smell is like a salon smell, it is so intoxicating! Lathers really well and rinses clean leaving no residue. It's everything you could want in a shampoo.
I used Living Proof Perfect Hair Day shampoo and it left my scalp burning. My hair was falling out in clumps leaving visible scalp areas. Got checked out by my doctor and everything including thyroid was normal. I thought it might have been stress, but the symptoms continued despite improving my stress levels and eating and sleeping well. I switched to Aveeno and my scalp no longer hurts. The hair loss has slowed down noticably. But I lost so much of it that my hair is ruined. It was my best feature and something I always took care of (never used dye, heat, or chemicals). I thought I was doing the right thing by using a shampoo that didn't contain sulfates. I hope to God my hair grows back.
