Excellent piece of kit, should of bought one years ago, all parts seem quite robust and delivery from 2 separate sites was clearly tracked. Assembly from the instructions is very difficult to say the least. Search online for a video 'step by step awning assembly ', watch it a couple of times and it will then be easy so long as you don't over tighten any screws. I did ours in 5 hours on my own.

The horrible assembly even in pairs. They lack holes, screws, imprecise instructions. After a first assembly everything collapses, forced to drill holes, glue. In short, once mounted, the rendering is correct and the blind is easily opened. For how long, I hope to have a good surprise.

Just what I needed for some shade & rain protection for my house. Ideal for my needs being a removable fixture. Instructions not overly detailed. I would call it water resistant not water proof. Moderate to heavy rain can still leak through the material. 2 coats of water proofing spray fixed that. Not sure about the claims being UV resistant. It does provide some shade & reduces sunlight but not entirely block out. After a few months it's obvious the material has faded without getting full sun & slight rust forming on one of the poles.

Got off to a rocky start with this. I tried 2 other vendors that were just scammer companies so i chose to pay the little extra for the real VidaXL seller. Delivery company was not the best but the customer service was fantastic and chased up the problem immediately. Assembled the sun screen on my own but it would be better with 2 if you can get the extra hands to slot the material in to the awning frame. I really didn't expect this quality when i ordered it and even my father in law who helped my hang it on the wall was super impressed. Just hope it weathers well . If so I'll be even more impressed. Seriously thinking of ordering another for the kitchen double door. But I'll wait till my wife's not looking.
The product is very correct. My dissatisfaction relates to the fact that an essential part was missing during assembly (the small tube to be inserted making it possible to connect the two large tubes on the upper part of the blind). I was able to find a solution by replacing it with a curtain rod. This kind of oversight is quite frustrating after a week's wait for the product. Despite all this, good product and clean and relatively quick shipment of the package.

Several parts does not match the provided instructions and are mirrored from how they actually look (example 2 right arms instead of 1 in the instructions). The do fit and you can put it together with a lot of thinking, but if you’re profession is not mechanical, choose a different one. Fitting of the parts leaves a lot to wish for and the provided screws does not hold the awning together good, the will need to be upgraded. Unfortunately I saw this after operating it a few times otherwise I would have just sent it all back. Shipped fast, instructions were a bit complicated. Need two people to assemble and set up. Not sure how buyers get this to stand on its own. It has 2 back legs but is front heavy when it’s fully extended. We had to be creative with the back legs to keep them in place and grounded
The assembly took 2 of us almost 4 hours. The main reason being the instructions are not very clear and you have to figure out things on your own. The step 2 is even missing from the page.. Once setup, I'm happy with it but the stands feel very weak and will likely come off or make noise in windy places. The instruction says the awning has to be retracted when winds are > 27kmph. The other annoying part is the manual lever to open and close it which takes a while because its slow, so if you want to open and close it everyday, it's abit annoying
This awning is the perfect size for our breezeway. It was the only one I found of this size. It is the 12 ft size. Color is a mango for clarity. Now for the aggravating part. Two people. Two hours. You basically have to assemble it to make any adjustments. There is a lot of holding it place while you assemble. Some of the screws stripped. I didn’t feel it would be very sturdy standing on its own so we reinforced it by anchoring it to the house. Other than that- now that it’s done- I love it!!!
Very nice product. Delivered fast and without problem. Blocks sun and rain as it is intended to. Although it says yellow&white; it is more like an orange, not yellow. Requires 2 people for assembly, takes approx.30 mins. We accidentally broke the hand crank during assembly, they might have used better material for hand-crank-connection; it is hard-plastic; but nothing do. We fixed it with super-glue but Seller promised to provide spare part whenever it is possible. We are happy in overall.
