No heavy or cloying notes here that feel old fashioned. The freshness of Daisy Wild feels like the scent of happiness and possibilities for fun. Which is wonderful because when sprayed on my skin, clothes, and hair, Daisy Wild has the same lasting power of a body spray. Very rarely do I smell Daisy Wild on myself after five minutes. Maybe that’s part of the reason they sell a refill bottle- go to town spraying yourself for the refreshing fragrance as a pick me up anytime you need one. I usually receive comments every day on my perfumes and a running joke is that “everyone can smell you before they see you”, but no one could smell me coming today. Based on this I would give the sillage and projection 5 out of 10. Longevity was okay. I sprayed this perfume at 7am but it had faded by 11am, although I could smell it on my clothes when brought close to my face. I would give longevity 6 out of 10. However! There is no doubt this is now one of my favourite perfumes I’ve ever had the pleasure to try! Its playfulness and brightness is so addicting! This fragrance was made for summer. The fragrance is also refillable available in a 150ml refill size which offers better value for money than buying a whole new bottle. It is definitely one I will be in a hurry to replace when I’ve used it up!

With jasmine, vetiver, and notes of banana blossom, this is the kind of scent that you just want to keep smelling all day long. I seriously cannot get enough. It’s perfectly fresh and floral without being powdery or overpowering. The scent is strong when you first apply it and dries down more subtly. Living in the UK we have a lot of cold weather, so most of my perfumes are winter appropriate scents but I feel I don’t have enough to rotate during Spring and Summer. Looking at the notes and the bottle, I feel this could be perfect for these seasons. On first spray I definitely get banana, but not a ripe banana, more like a green banana and maybe even the skin of it. It sort of smells like sour sweets that I used to enjoy in my childhood. This lasts for a short while until it dries down and I get more of the floral notes coming through, it has subtle hints of the original daisy, but with a little twist. It’s a nice subtle, but still there kind of fragrance, perfect for spring and summer!! I don’t like strong scents during this time of year because I find they can become cloying and nauseating. This is the perfect addition to my large perfume collection and will get some heavy use during these months. The scent is not too grown up, it has a playful side but it’s definitely not immature either, I think anyone could wear this. It is a safe perfume, I don’t see anyone being offended by the smell so it can be worn in any setting in my opinion. It has projection but not too far so it is quite subtle to people around you. The longevity and sillage are decent but not the strongest I have in my collection, however for the warmer months I prefer that. I have over 100 perfumes and none of them smell quite like this. Marc Jacobs have done a great job of creating something different from the rest of their daisy line but it still falls within that family of scents. This is my favourite looking bottle out of the line up of Daisy perfumes and it will have a permanent spot on my dresser until autumn comes along. I love it!

Bottle is great, my fave Daisy lid so far. Ok, I forgot what the scent profile was. So when I sprayed I had no idea what I was smelling. Right off I smelled a little wonderful citrus, refreshing, then beautiful floral that were familiar and also unfamiliar. I read it was banana blossom, jasmine and vetiver, then thought what the neck is banana blossom. I kept smelling and no creamy banana smell. I had to educate myself on banana blossoms. They do not smell like bananas at all even though they could turn into.a type of a banana if left on the tree. But they are usually taken off and used to eat in many ways and could taste straight up.like an artichoke but are used to take on the other flavors in the dish being cooked. That blast of fresh citrus was calmed down, still there but like most citrus it becomes background noise. The floral left over is unique to me and I would not so jasmine but all three melded beautifully together for, thank goodness something NEW! If my u like fresh citrus floral, first blast you will love for a.good 20 min. Then the new ever changing floral as it sets will intrigue you as you read up on the banana blossom and decide if you are going to.try a new recipe?
