Bought the large that was the right size jacket but the chest strap was too short to fit around my dog. Exchanged for the X-large but the jacket was too long and tipped the dog forward when swimming. Used once, gave it away, not happy.

Bought this to stop my dog scratching me and trying to stand on my head when swimming. Does the job and fits and floats well! Large size seemed fine for my Border Collie.Be aware that the stitching on the handle isn't really that strong though. The "D" shackle and handle stitching came apart from me attaching my dog leash to it and picking my dog up using it within a few days. If you have a medium-to-large dog then I wouldn't attach a leash to it and be careful picking up your dog with it. Still it's fine as a doggo lifejacket so all good!

Large size needs longer girth straps for deep chested, stocky dogs.XL size = Do NOT advise attaching lead to the top plastic eyelet.... use your dogs regular collar. With barely any resistance the plastic eyelet ripped it clean off rendering the vest useless as now not watertight. That lesson learned, it’s otherwise a good product.

Was initially worried about the size as we have a 50Kg pup of 7 month age.The 2XL jacket is plenty big enough and there's room to grow.I was expecting some "antics" from the pup but he took to it like a duck to water.Wearing the jacket provides buoyancy to his rear end, this means his body is level in the water.Once level his natural slow Newfie stroke kicked in.He went from straining to do 20m to easily doing 200m.Best of all BCF had a special - $25 what a bargainMarlin AU have a blog where you can input pics.I tried to register but they did not respond.Called them and they gave me a bad email address.Shame they don't seem interested
Great life jacket and dog loves wearing it. Great quality and fits my dog very well. My young dog has had little experience around water and this had help with confidence building.

Good for the price, did the trick! XL sz fits perfectly on our boof - kept him afloat and he’s around 45kgs. Got a L sz one for our 6mo pup who’s is around 20kgs, was worried would be a bit big - fits her well, room for growing to as adjustable. Staff x breeds.
I brought this for my old dog so we can keep going for swims. The problem is that the back has plenty of buoyancy and the front hardly has any. This means he struggles to keep his nose out of the water because it starts tilting him forwards. This life jacket would Probably Drown Him (without me holding his front half up) Instead of saving him! NOT RECOMMENDED FOR OLDER DOGS.
Good enough for the price, very universal kinda fit though. Our boxer is a completely different shape compared to our border collie, but both about the same size and weight. Chuck it on if you’re out on the boat and worried they might go in, but I bought a different brand afterwards for our dogs that fit a lot better and seems more comfortable for them to wear.
The floatation vest is great for our senior Cocker Spaniel. It fits securely and provides additional support and safety for him to do some hydrotherapy in the pool. Additionally, it was quite affordable - an added bonus. We're very glad we purchased this product and would recommend it to anyone considering a PFD for their furry friend.
