I bought this and took my dog swimming at the beach yesterday.He looked really uncomfortable after 5 mins so I took it off of him and discovered the source of his discomfort.This 'life' jacket had somehow filled with approx 10 kgs of water and as I carried it back to the car the water didn't drain out, it stayed in the jacket.BEWARE OF THIS PRODUCT PLEASEI rarely leave reviews unless they are positive or detrimental and I will be contacting the manufacturers to have this taken off of the market

Bought this to stop my dog scratching me and trying to stand on my head when swimming. Does the job and fits and floats well! Large size seemed fine for my Border Collie.Be aware that the stitching on the handle isn't really that strong though. The "D" shackle and handle stitching came apart from me attaching my dog leash to it and picking my dog up using it within a few days. If you have a medium-to-large dog then I wouldn't attach a leash to it and be careful picking up your dog with it. Still it's fine as a doggo lifejacket so all good!

Does the job of keeping my dogs head above water however I ordered the small (as per guide for a weight of 5kgs) but it isn’t long enough for her body. I would have ordered a bigger size if lengths were also in the size guide. Very happy otherwise!

Perfect fit for a small 14 year old Lhasa Apso. She was wearing it for the first time today on her first Pontoon Boat ride on the Noosa River. She seemed very relaxed and so were we knowing that the buoyancy vest would keep her safely afloat. Great price for great peace of mind
Was initially worried about the size as we have a 50Kg pup of 7 month age.The 2XL jacket is plenty big enough and there's room to grow.I was expecting some "antics" from the pup but he took to it like a duck to water.Wearing the jacket provides buoyancy to his rear end, this means his body is level in the water.Once level his natural slow Newfie stroke kicked in.He went from straining to do 20m to easily doing 200m.Best of all BCF had a special - $25 what a bargainMarlin AU have a blog where you can input pics.I tried to register but they did not respond.Called them and they gave me a bad email address.Shame they don't seem interested
Great life jacket and dog loves wearing it. Great quality and fits my dog very well. My young dog has had little experience around water and this had help with confidence building.
Great life jackets - I bought 3 for our 3 Dachshunds. 2 small & 1 medium. They fit well, which can sometimes be an issue with our sausage dog shape body. Very easy to put on & take off plus as well as keeping them afloat, the design keeps their heads up out of the water. Very happy with this purchase.
Good enough for the price, very universal kinda fit though. Our boxer is a completely different shape compared to our border collie, but both about the same size and weight. Chuck it on if you’re out on the boat and worried they might go in, but I bought a different brand afterwards for our dogs that fit a lot better and seems more comfortable for them to wear.
Our pooch is getting older and heavy as staffies do, he has a habit of taking in water while swimming but after a few goes with the life jacket on he figured out he could hold his head just a little higher. I also feared he is tiring out quicker and now I don’t have to stress about him drowning.
Its a great purchas for our family of fur babies. We have two miniature dachshund, so it is a handful taking them to the beach. This make it a little bit easier for us!
