Surface devices have always struck me as overpriced and lagging behind in tech features versus other Windows 2-in-1s, not to mention Android or iOS tablets. I would never have considered this device were it not deeply discounted. I even tried using a Surface Go at one point, and the Pentium chip in it was a huge let-down. This one has been an entirely different experience. The 11th gen i3 has not skipped a beat. Everything is smooth and snappy. I have a big heavy gaming laptop for games and work, but I'm now convinced that this could be my everyday workhorse. Just plug in a USB-C hub at your desk and you're good to go. You could even do a little casual gaming here - despite some confusion in the product info, this does have the new Iris Xe graphics (confirmed in Device Manager), not the useless old Intel HD stuff. The display is crisp and bright. It may not be 120 Hz or OLED, but you won't feel like you're missing much once you start using it. This version also has a replaceable SSD in case you find yourself running low on space. The Surface Pen (not included but can be found affordably as open-box or refurb) is also a top-notch writing experience. The iPad has definitely caught up in recent years software-wise, but the Surface pen just feels so much better touching and moving across the screen, and the eraser tip on the other end is a nice touch. OneNote is still king for free note-taking apps.I always enjoyed Windows 10 well enough, and I'll miss the live tiles, but 11 really does bring a lot of nice little changes for touch-based use. The new widgets are probably more useful than the live tiles anyway. You'll probably find everything you need comes with Windows or is available in the Windows Store at this point, but if not, Windows 11 now supports Android apps, so once the Amazon app store is fully populated you'll have options there in case something you love on your phone isn't available for Windows. You also get the full flexibility of installing whatever you need from the massive amount of Windows software out there. If you're feeling adventurous, you can even install the Google Play store.I hate to say it, but I think Microsoft has me convinced, and I might stick around for awhile. Between the integration with Android phones, the built-in Android app support, Windows Ink, Microsoft 365, and all the flexibility and legacy of Windows software, I finally feel like I have an alternative to being locked in to Apple where I'm not missing out, both for personal and professional use. If, like me, you grew up using Microsoft software, but were drawn away as they fell behind Apple and Google in the mobile-first era, I think you'll find enough to love here to come back and give them another shot.

I bought a refurbished surface pro 6 - it got stuck in a load in screen loop. I bought a refurbished surface go 3 for my wife. The exact same problem. So I bought a brand new surface pro 7. It has proven itself to stay alive, but the screen flickers no matter what. I promise you, NO MATTER WHAT. I have researched from dozens of websites for help. The Microsoft help service is unreliable. Their surface pen/pencil is not quite accurate. The battery life doesn't even last the whole day. I use this computer primarily for Microsoft Word, some google chrome for school and casual social media, and that is it. No games, no malicious websites, and no grueling software. Please don't buy this. You would be better off either getting a reliable laptop or an actual tablet.

The product was described as premium, but in reality it was scrap. The device was used to its full capacity and it was damaged. The only component which was of premium standard was the charger. The battery had no life left and it hardly last for an hour or two. The device appeared dirty and keyboard was torn.More than the seller, the blame goes to Noon who permits such sellers to trade through their platform. We can’t trust the products sold here at all, since they have not set any standards and/or they don’t have any control to monitor the standards (if any).Hope someone who understands the impact of such practices reads our comments.

It´s the best laptop i´ve ever bought. It´s an excellent product. If you need something more portable than a laptop, this is for you. I had doubts about how it would work on a daily use, but it overpassed my expectations.Even though it's not a new product, it´s worth totally its price (i mean, a new one is on $1,000 dlls, this one was for just $340 dlls)I am very satisfied with this purchase. I´m surely you won´t regret it.However, something that i did not like much is that it does not come with te original box. I mean, it's okay for me, but the product came inside a fedex bag, its like if you were buying something from a very, very common thrift shop. I think that the future customers would be grateful if the seller add a prettier presentation for this kind of ... MoreIt´s the best laptop i´ve ever bought. It´s an excellent product. This laptop was a purchase for mys sweet mother, a woman who was previously record-breaking typist and extremely tech saavy for her generation. Unfortunately, she suffered a life-altering "catastrophic brain hemorrhage" last year that rendered her nonverbal (official diagnosis of apraxia and aphasia, for those who may be familiar) and paralyzed on her right side of her body, which means she has no use of her left arm or hand. Thankfully, she's naturally left-handed. Even so, using a standard keyboard and computer were nearly impossible once she completed rehab and returned to a home setting. There is a great deal of mourning when one loses their former independence due to a sudden injury or medical event like stroke or brain injury. Oftentimes the injured or disabled person misses even the most mundane independent activities such as being able to pay his or her own bills or even access their bank accounts, social media pages or even a photo album online (because let's face it, our entire lives are online.)Like so many others who have survived life altering injury, my mom missed her connections to the world as well. Most of which also takes place online via social media or over video chat. Isolation is dangerous company to keep.So I set out intent on helping my sweet mama regain a bit of control over her own life, despite her many new medical challenges and communication-based disabilities. My goal was for her to regain some autonomy. That decision led to the purchase of theSurface Pro.In an effort to make it as disability friendly as possible, I set it up her home screen with shortcuts to her favorite websites, personal banking accounts and then links to an internet radio station and multiple streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, amazon prime) that I customized with her favorite artists, songs, and TV shows. I also set up each shortcut so that the login screens for each account self populate with her username and passwords. She doesn't go anywhere that I would anticipate risk of someone stealing or hacking her device, but for an added measure of security, I utilized the surface pro's awesome facial recognition login feature. Which she loves, because it prevents her from the requirement of entering a password to login to her laptop.I purchased a stylus and synched it to her new device and she uses that handy pen (magnetic so it sticks to side of laptop when not in use so she won't lose it) for most everything. As you might imagine, I was overjoyed l stopped in to see her a few days ago and she showed me that she was able to pay all of her monthly bills online, independently, using her new Surface Pro. This is a "first" since her injury happened just over a year ago. This is a big accomplishment! In summary, if you or a loved one is facing similar medical or physical challenges, you may want to consider this laptop/tablet combo to accompany your journey toward independence.EDIT: I realize I may have overshared, but if perhaps this information helps another caregiver or a brave individual who is fighting to reclaim their life, it was worth it.
***If you need decent battery life, stay away from Microsoft SP computer-tablets***I have owned four SP7s (and two SPXs) and ended up giving them away because of one huge problem. Windows updates killed their battery life. Each of these SP7s and SPXs started out with between 11 to 12 hours of battery life (watching YouTube continuously at 40%, battery saver and wifi on), and after a couple of Windows updates, their battery life always plummeted to 6-7 hours. I'd have to constantly uninstall Windows updates until I found the update that was draining the battery. And due to the process all over again when a new update was released. It is completely unacceptable for a company that designs the hardware and makes the software to have their computer-tablets' batteries last half as long as their OEMs. My 13-inch Samsung Galaxy Book Pro (11th Gen i7, 16 ram, 512 ssd) gets 17 hours of battery life (watching YouTube continuously at 40%, battery saver and wifi on) and my 16-inch Yoga 2-in-1 (12th Gen i7, 16 ram, 512 ssd) that I use as my desktop gets 15 hours of battery life (the 14-inch version also gets 15 hours of battery life).I will never purchase another SP again and I strongly recommend you stay away from SPs until Microsoft gets this battery issue corrected (plenty of complaints on the internet and in Microsoft's own discussion board about SPs battery issues, just Google "Surface Pro" and "battery issues"). You have been warned...
Honestly one of the worst computers I've owned - I needed a windows machine and chose this because I thought it would be nice to have a tablet/laptop combo with a pen. Unfortunately that's not been the case. This thing continually has issues. My charger died within a year and I refuse to spend $75 on a new one when the reliability and reputation of them is so bad. So now I have to use a USB C charger that while providing the correct watts, will only charge the computer when I have it turned off for some reason. The face recognition is nice...until the IR sensor and light get stuck on from some kind of issue. The screen is nice until it starts to flicker because it's set at just the *wrong* brightness where the display driver has problems.I'm not sure it's the ... MoreHonestly one of the worst computers I've owned - I needed a windows machine and chose this because I thought it would be nice to have a tablet/laptop combo with a pen. The screen is nice until it starts to flicker because it's set at just the *wrong* brightness where the display driver has problems.I'm not sure it's the hardware itself, but I don't see these same issues on other windows computers - the start bar won't auto hide and pops up repeatedly while I'm trying to do other work....There are plenty of other minor issues, but in the end here's the gist: this has been incredibly unreliable and has been an unpleasant experience to use. It'll be my last Surface product.
This thing is still going strong after 4 years. This was purchased its mobility and future-proof performance. We use it primarily for browser based CRM and Logistics applications, Microsoft Office, casting static displays to networked monitors, casting streaming services, and other cloud based services. The battery life is as good today as it was day one. Accompanied by a case, screen protector, and the Surface keyboard it’s withstood many mishaps and not missed a beat. I’ve been so impressed by the Microst Surface Pro I’m now considering more for business and home.
I do digital art and design professionally, and was looking for something lightweight yet powerful for working on projects while on the go. On pen and paper, the Surface Pro 7 checked all the boxes for what I needed, and so I made the plunge and bought one. After about a month, I'm pretty disappointed with the shoddy quality of what's an almost $1,500 machine.First and foremost are the issues with the touch input. While it advertises 10-point touch input, you'll be luck if you can get it to register just two fingers to pinch and zoom on a webpage. The touchscreen's sluggish responses to input and constant ignoring of gestures can make the Surface unusable without a type cover or an attached mouse/keyboard at times. At first I thought I'd received a defective unit, but no. After a few minutes of searching for help on Microsoft's support forums, I came to find these issues with multi-touch and input lag are a long-standing and widely reported firmware problem with the Surfaces- which is to this day unresolved by Microsoft. As someone who bought the Surface for the express purpose of the touch capability, this was (and still is) a huge let down.Next comes the battery life. If you're just running a couple tabs in Chrome and any moderate-weight software in tandem on the battery, you'll be lucky to get even 4 hours out of the Surface Pro 7. The given estimates for battery life in the ads and on the product details are pretty misleading. The 8-9 hour estimate must be assuming you'll only ever be using an offline word processor with the screen brightness dropped to the lowest setting. So basically, if you're headed to a coffee shop to do some work for a few hours, you'd better be bringing that charger along. Which brings up my final glaring issue...The charger supplied with the SP7 is great... for however long it lasts you. After about two weeks, my brick started to make a loud, audible buzzing. Much louder than the normal ambient sound of electronics. MS support tried to tell me this was normal, despite the fact it was silent when used right out of the box. Since then, I've been using a spare generic USB-C charger I have instead, but I just happened to be fortunate that I had an alternative on hand. Sadly, many will likely end up having to shell out the extra money to replace something essential for the computer, one that should've just been built with some modicum of quality control to begin with. All things considered, I cannot recommend the SP7 in general and ESPECIALLY not for professional artists/designers who need a reliable work machine for their projects. What I paid doesn't nearly line up with what I received, which is a shame; I wanted to like my SP7 and get stuff done with it. I expected better than a charger-bound tablet pc that can't even properly register touch input.
