I couldn’t believe that this was actually completely odor and flavorless. Most things that say that aren’t. To test it out I added 1T of MCT oil to about 3T of applesauce (see pics) it mixed really well with just a spoon. And I couldn’t taste a difference! I have a very sensitive stomach so I stuck to 1T every other day, to every day and had no issues at all. I felt a minor pick me up, almost as though the winter brain fog was lifting. So for me is a great feeling. I will continue to use this and I recommend you trying it. It can be added into coffee, shakes, oatmeal… anything really. I appreciated trying this as part of an incentive for my honest opinion.

Prior to taking this supplement I spend several weeks researching MCT oils - pros and cons. The pros are tremendous vs the cons. You can do your research - please do not take my word. Now - the most important issue regarding the cons - the severe stomach pains, diarrhea, vomiting, etc.. - research reveals that it is common if your stomach is not used to the MCT and your taking a large amount. What is a large amount - it depends on the person. For me the large amount was one tbsp. I had the severe stomach pain with all the associated issues described above. So, as recommended by several physicians and nutritionist (online) I lowered the intake to a tsp. No issues after that - and now I am slowly increasing to a tbsp. No issues so far. Here's a sample review for organic MCToil:"I’ve been using Organic MCT Oil for a few weeks now, and I am truly impressed with the results! The quality of this oil is exceptional—light, non-greasy, and quickly absorbed into the skin. It has become a staple in my skincare routine, leaving my skin feeling moisturized and soft without any irritation. I’ve also used it in my hair, and it has added a noticeable shine and smoothness. The fact that it's organic gives me even more confidence in the product. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a versatile, high-quality oil!"This review highlights the oil’s key benefits while reflecting a personal experience.

I was put on Nystatin to clear up a Candida Albicans overgrowth/infection of the gut. 2 hours after my first 500,000 IU dose of Nystatin, a lightning bolt containing red, green, and blue striped colors appeared in my upper-left field of vision! Yeah... Weird stuff! Found out it's called 'Kalaidoscope Vision,' and tends to indicate a migraine on its way. Sure enough, a headache settled in later that night.Anyway, my doctor was shocked and said I could either try cutting the Nystatin in half -- or do MCT Oil, to curb the Candida, instead. This stuff is basically a refined / concentrated form of coconut oil, but with 5-7x the anti-fungal punch. It'll likely take months of MCT oil to do what the Nystatin could've accomplished in weeks. But I've opted for NOT seeing sparkling, colored shapes and getting headaches, so..It tastes like movie-popcorn butter! And I've occasionally used it as a drizzle over cooked foods, to get my dose AND richen up the flavor of a meal. (Though don't make that a habit, as you'll probably be losing some of it to the plate.) It is definitely working, and the Candida "die-off" phase I was warned to expect with Nystatin, was so mild it doesn't deserve mention. Having taken both coconut and cod-liver oils by the teaspoon, MCT oil is the most palatable of them. This brand only uses Coconut oil to produce the MCT, (no Palm oil, which is a cheaper, less potent, cutting agent) and I recommend it.
Natures Way Organic MCT oil is perfect for use in bulletproof coffee recipes. It does not add any funny taste and makes the coffee thicker and richer. The MCT oil also helps control hunger. I appreciate that it’s organic, as I choose organic whenever possible. My only complaint is the lid design. You have to squeeze to dispense which makes it come out forcefully. I just remove the lid completely to pour and measure. I would prefer a different lid design. To make the coffee, run a mix of 4oz milk, 4 oz cold brew, 2 tsp MCT oil, a scoop of collagen, and sweetener of your choice in a drink blender and you have a creamy, foamy, iced coffee to start your day!

I bought this last month & I use it in my morning coffee. Last Tuesday all my coffee cups were in the dishwasher so I grabbed a Styrofoam cup & used it as my coffee cup. As soon as I added Stevia & a Tbsp of MCT, I stepped away to water my plants. When I came back to retrieve my coffee cup, it had sprung a leak. It ate a hole thru my Styrofoam cup & coffee was all over the counter! I thought...Well that must have been a defected cup, so I got another Styrofoam cup & poured coffee in my new cup, again adding stevia & MCT oil like before, & I proceeded up to the bathroom to shower. When I stepped out of the shower, there was another mess to clean up.This time the MCT oil ate the bottom out of my Styrofoam cup!!! Somebody please explain!!??It makes me wonder what ... MoreI bought this last month & I use it in my morning coffee. This Organic MCT Oil from Natures Way is great for so many things. Lately I’ve been feeling super fatigued and always tired. I thought what better time to try out this supplement that claims to boost brain & body energy. I started off slowly by adding only a tsp once a day (to avoid any potential GI discomfort) to my morning whipped iced coffee about 2 weeks ago. Honestly I wasn’t noticing much of a difference so now that my body has had a chance to get adjusted, I’m going to up my dose to a Tbsp once maybe twice a day and see how I feel. Now, a bit unexpected but a big pro for me personally is that since I started using this MCT Oil, it has helped out a lot with constipation that I suffer from regularly. I will continue taking this supplement for this reason alone! Also, Since receiving this product I’ve been doing some research about the many uses & benefits of MCT oil. One thing I found was that it’s beneficial for your hair and scalp so I’m going to start using it that way as well to see if it actually helps. Definitely a beneficial versatile product from what I’ve seen and read so far!
I’ve only been taking this for six days. I started out with a half a teaspoon. I would highly suggest you pour it into a measurement spoon that keeps it from spilling all over. It doesn’t really dissolve in hot coffee or hot tea. But it will sit at the top. You don’t really taste it. It doesn’t affect the taste of your coffee. Doesn’t feel oily when you’re drinking it. I started using one of those mini hand blenders and that seems to help a little. But I noticed when I wash my cup there’s still a lot of oil around the cup, so I don’t think I’m getting all oil ingested. Also, if you put collagen in your coffee or tea, put that in first and your sugar first, and do the oil last because otherwise, those things will clump up. So far I have no reactions. I’m up to one and a half teaspoons after six days but again there is oil left on the sides of cup when I wash it so not sure I’m getting a full one and a half teaspoon. something to remember.
