A little downhill but still my fav

This is my 3rd NB shoe of this type but it's been a few years. They fit in my usual size of 8.5 W. Side note: Please listen to reviews regarding size. I am always an 8M is every other brand. Go up and out with NB. These, however, compared to my old 2 pair, had a more narrow tongue and shorter narrower laces. Fit was great and I love the color! But it was a bit disappointing to see NB cutting corners. I wondered if I got a 2nd by chance. A little bit of a downer but the service was excellent.

Comfortable, good fit, value for money

Comfortable, good fit, value for money. I use these shoes for walking daily, just on road. They are light and flexible. This is the second time I've bought these and I recommend them. If you prefer to wear inserts, the inner soles of these are easily removed to be replaced.

Disappointed

In order to put the shoes on, I had to remove the laces from the last two slits! It's the second pair of NB shoes I bought lately that are like that! Then I have to double tie them and there's WAY too much left over. The shoe tends to rub my foot where those last two slits are. They are not holes for shoe laces which is strange. Not something I have noticed with other brands. Very disappointing! I also have to search for shoes that tie. I've been buying shoes on line for a lot of years. Lately it's been hard to find a shoe I like.

Excellent product and Excellent Service
30 November 2022

Love these New Balance shoe. I don't run for exercise but these are perfect for 'running errands and running around the house"". Love that these come in wide and are so supportive and comfortable. I actually bought a pair in all 4 colors. Also I have been shopping from Joe's for years and have NEVER had an issue with their excellent service. In the two instances that I had to return a purchase, it was handled without any problems. I don't usually write reviews but this company has made my life easier.

Great shoes but narrow
30 January 2023

The shoes shipped and arrived very quickly, which I appreciate. They were just as pictured. The shoes are comfy and sized fairly accurate. I chose wide as a lot of the reviews said that they ran very narrow. If there had been an extra wide option, I probably would have chosen that option. The shoes are rather narrow but not to an uncomfortable point. I wear them at work and it seems to help my arthritic knees on the concrete floor. I would buy from Joe's again for sure.

Love at first step...
23 October 2022

These shoes are so comfortable. I have several foot issues and neuropathy so I was not looking for a runner shoe but it looked like the tennis shoe I was seeking. I didn't like the fit of the Orthopaedic shoes my Podiatrist suggested. I usually wear a size 8 in a tennis shoe but had none so I tried the 7.5 wide. Perfect. The heel cup is comfy and my hammertoe loves the mesh top. My aging feet likes the wide width.

Shoes laces
8 January 2024

I like New Balance but I hate the lacing there are too many holes and too much lacing. I wear a brace on my left foot for support of ankle and arch and had to go up a size but I can never get the shoes tight enough that they don't start slipping and I have to stop what I am doing find a place to sit that I can raise my leg to tie my shoe laces. Bring back the old type of lacing and get rid of all this waste with all the holes and too long shoe laces.

Terrible for wide AND narrow feet
17 March 2023

I bought the wide fit last week. “Wide fit” LOL. They didn’t even fit my aunts feet and she has super narrow feet and we’re the same size shoe. Visible glue and looked like they had been worn. They look and feel fake. Definitely not the quality of new balance I’m used to. I’ve always been an 8.5 in new balance but these were more like a 6. Don’t recommend.

Unfortunate change to sizing -- Why so short?
29 June 2023

This 'new' '520 v7' version of the New Balance 520 Running Shoe has a completely different size profile. I've been buying a the 520 for years in a 6.5 Wide, and both the length and width have always been perfect. My order of the v7 version just came and they are way too short (my toes are uncomfortably up against the end of the shoe), while they're also now a bit too wide. While the associated exterior style changes make the shoe less visually appealing, I could live with that IF THEY FIT. Not sure what's happened with this shoe, but I guess I need to find a new pair of go-to black shoes because this isn't going to work at all. I had a brief thought that it might be worth trying a size 7, but since they're already too wide in a size that's too small, I'm not ... MoreThis 'new' '520 v7' version of the New Balance 520 Running Shoe has a completely different size profile. Grrr....
