I usually wear women's size 8 and ordered these in a men's 6.5 in the white/white colourway. Would have grabbed womens, but they're never in stock or gone before you know it! Fit is good, albeit a little tiny bit big. Might have gotten away with a men's 6, but women's 7.5 is usually way too tight. I'm almost always a EUR39. Didn't want to chance sizing down. So far so good, but the only thing annoying is the exposed midsole foam. Dirty in 5 minutes of wear. Are they the most comfy shoes I own? No, that title goes to my 990v5's, but these 550s are a totally different look. Good shoes overall.

The shoe fits very narrow, if you have wide feet or anything slightly wider than average they are very narrow. The from what I read online you should go down half a size due to the length of the shoe, most definitely not the case here. I would recommend going true to size instead of following other online resources if you have wide or slightly wider feet like me. Also the QC on the pair I received was awful, had glue near the toe box showing and the sock liner was stained. Returned and refunded.

Great aesthetic. Pretty comfortable right out of the box. They fit true to size but there is a bit of heel slippage if you lace them loosely and they do run a bit narrow in the body. Something to consider if you have a wider foot. The leather is subpar. The construction on these is very solid, especially the outsole. Definitely seems like you can beat these up for a while and they'll last. They rival the AF1 in the chunky department, these are heavy boys. Glad they brought this instantly iconic silhouette back.

Very clean, well built. Easy to clean, comfortable to wear for long periods of time. However, very loose fitting at first. After a few wears, fit to the shape of my foot and stayed on better, but I'm sure they'll go flying off if I kick hard enough. Half a size down from your normal and it'll fit well. Ex. I wear a 10.5 in most shoes, specifically Jordan 1s, so I got a 10.5. However, a 10 would have fit much better.
I've had these for about a week now and I have no complaints. They are my new daily's and for considerable reasons. They go with just about anything I want to wear, they are extremely comfortable, they slip on and off like a glove, and lastly, they are resilient to whatever conditions I seem put them through. If you're contemplating buying these shoes for yourself or someone close, I would highly recommend.

They have a great aesthetic, but compared to other NB shoes in the same size (M13), they are too narrow and too long (they do stretch out after some wear, and heel popping grows less intense). While they are not really "TTS," I would advise buying your normal NB size because sizing down will crush your foot, and sizing up will cause excessive heel rubbing/popping. These issues may still be prevalent with your regular size, but it's tolerable, and they will dissipate with slight wear.
As soon as I laid eyes on them, I've been a sucker for the 550s. Such a cleverly crafted shoe that is reminiscent of the Nike Air Force 1 in the all-white colorway. The shoe itself is comfortable and a retro classic. Thank goodness that New Balance is seeing and responding to the hype these shoes are getting now; goes to show how big streetwear has as an influence.
They look great, but they're just too big. I'm a 11.5 in 574, but that size in the 550s seems to run .5 too big.With the limited distribution on this model, I was unable to order a pair in the correct size once they quickly sold out. No return policy for these is inconvenient. I was advised to resell them.On the plus side, the shoes look great; a much better alternative to other all white shoes that are far too common!
Always been a new balance person my entire life, wanted something new and in-style so I went with the 550s. The shoes look great but I have found walking in them really uncomfortable, especially on my big toe. I was honestly hoping I could just return them because the fit was not right for me, but I got them quite dirty for my first wear. Still love New Balance more than any other footwear brand! Just thought I would leave some constructive criticism
