Women's New Balance 574 Sneakers - Blue - Low-top sneakers ‘The most New Balance shoe ever' says it all, right? No, actually. The 574 might be our unlikeliest icon. The 574 was built to be a reliable shoe that could do a lot of different things well rather than as a platform for revolutionary technology, or as a premium materials showcase. This unassuming, unpretentious versatility is exactly what launched the 574 into the ranks of all-time greats. As hybrid road/trail design built on a wider last than the previous generation's narrow racing silhouettes, the 574 offered a uniquely versatile mix of new, different, uncomplicated, rugged, durable, and comfortable that was adopted as a closet staple across the globe. That's why today, the 574 is synonymous with the boundary defying New Balance style, and worn by anyone.

The shoes are decent but rub up against the back of my ankles, as far as the beige fabric its a little rough to look at. Replacing the fabric with leather would look so much more appealing. The fact that they spelled out New Balance on the rear of the shoe feels a bit Generic the laces are a tad bit too long, but that happens with every shoe i've ever bought. The stitching on the N logos makes it look like they can peel off at any moment. However around my area New Balance are a cheaper alternative, so to see shoes like these gives me faith in humanity that not every shoe has to look like a basketball or wrestling shoe, and not everything has to be the color of a rainbow.

Unfinished tounge. Would have kept the shoe but quickly returned after missing that. Would have even bought a tounge replacement to keep the shoe. This new style will quickly fall apart. Returned the store at store and saw Nike doing the same.

I’ve worn these off and on indoors and outdoors. Played about 6 rounds of disc golf around Knoxville in them, which was my main purpose for buying. They’ve already started coming unglued at the front where the sole wraps up onto the main toe cap. The paint on the heel clip is coming off which is funny because it’s white plastic underneath, but they painted it a slight cream color. The suede got really hairy very fast when gently brushing them with a soft dry brush to get dirt and small grass seeds off them after wear. The foam midsole is really too soft to hold up to any errant sticks or rocks that may impact the surface, there’s some areas that are a bit ripped up. I’m not hard on my shoes and it’s not like I’ve been hiking in these in rugged trail. Lastly the ... MoreI’ve worn these off and on indoors and outdoors. It’s totally a real casual sneaker and not worth it’s full retail price, I’m glad I paid much less for these by buying them from Going Going Gone, otherwise I’d be livid. New balance only has a year warranty for certain issues and these don’t qualify unlike other brands that stand behind their product. Just disappointed because I’ve had other NB that held up much better.

These shoes fit true to size and they are perfect for a wide foot like mine. I got these for work and they were great for being on my feet all day. No break in period required. It’s my second pair and they are very reasonably priced.
Macys staff are always polite and helpful, apparently gym shoes sold in Kenwood are separate and independently owned. I don’t know how I feel about this product: but I can tell you that some of the staff members don’t belong in retail; and certainly reflect poorly on Macys! If I’d known in advance I wouldn’t have made the purchase there. Rude and impolite, unknowledgeable about their products and not helpful at all.
These are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever owned. They are versatile even given the unique green color. I wore them the entire day and had zero discomfort! I’ll be buying in other colors! 10/10 recommend!
I bought the White/Black/Gum version and love them. However, they sent me a pair that was clearly used and they returned from a customer in error! The quality control in their return process needs some help. I called FL's customer service and their first offer was a $10 coupon. Yikes! Anyway, not a great experience with Foot Locker but love NB 574s!
Used to wear them long ago in Manhattan. To the McBurney YMCA on 23rd street playing paddle ball with unforgiving seniors. Now i rediscovered them! After some disappointing flirtations with other brands.
Honestly, the first day I wearn these shoes, I thought it was an unnecessary expense. I also didn't feel the comfort. But there after, I used to wear them. If they can sustain the shape for a long time, I will consider it's the real value of the product the money a paid. Otherwise it's overvalued.
I ended up returning the shoes. I chose New Balance shoes because I had heard they run wide and have wider versions available. This shoe was too narrow for my foot, and there was no wider version available on their website.
