Very good looking shoe for a “dad shoe” type feel. I wanted something slightly chunky and retro while also being comfortable for walking around campus. Only downside is that the cushion isn’t state of the art, however you are paying 75 dollars so you wouldn’t expect much more. Overall a very solid shoe that supports my feet very well while looking good too.

I always have a hard time finding shoes that fit well. I'm almost 68 years old, have RA, and due to both my age and the moderate joint damage, I need to wear a 4-E width shoe. I have hammer toe, am prone to callus problems. I need the width and depth in the toe box these provide. Just got them today and they were comfortable right out of the box- no breaking in period needed. They are also nice looking and fit my budgetVery comfy.

It's a decently comfortable shoe. The fit is good even with my slightly above average width feet. However, the quality is not what I'm used to as a long-time New Balance customer. To start, the quality control and finish on them is a bit inconsistent between pairs (I've owned 3 pairs of this exact model). They also don't last as long as some of my older New Balances.

I was surprised when I got my new pair of New Balance Sneakers. I have been buying New Balance Sneakers for over 20 years, and they are all the same size, 14 EE. This pair fits very tight on all sides of the sneaker. I also found they are a sponge for any moisture in the air. The sneakers become soaked from the outside in. But one pair in 20 years will keep me from buying New Balance.
New Balance are allegedly one of the best trainer manufacturers on the market. Their prices reflect that. I certainly always believed that. Until I purchased these trainers. After extensive research on what trainers to buy for my work, which involves standing for a long time and 14 hour shifts, I decided to buy these. Worst purchase ever.To quote "New Balance Response 1.0 performance insert for additional padding and supportFresh Foam midsole provides lightweight cushioning"These trainers offer no support. They certainly dont have arch support. They look cheap. The laces arent much better. Very thin. Dont feel rebust enough to tie tightly.I will never buy New Balance trainers again
I tried on size 10.5 - they are a bit small, but the fabric of the sneaker fits my foot well. I bought 11US. My foot dangles in them, so I had to insert a thick insole. In the summer, when walking, I can feel the air getting inside the sneaker - it's nice. Leather 574 on an encap sole seem more comfortable to me than these. I won't buy this model a second time. I remain a fan of 574.
Great shoe! Comfortable - available in 2E or 4E. Soft heel but but not squishy or bouncy. Good support from the heel to the mid sole without too much rise in the arch. Looks good without being too loud. So far they seem to wear ok - they are my daily walking shoe and show little heel wear after 100+ miles. I love these and bought spares! New Balance you need to keep making these!
This is my second pair, the first pair was phenomenal and I had no complaints five stars there. This time around not as big of a fan. I don’t know why but every time I wear the new pair my right ankle swells. It feels lower than my left shoe. I don’t know how that is, but I am not a fan. I’ve had them for couple of weeks and just tend to rather go barefoot than wear them. I would love a different pair to compare.
These are the second pair of Fresh Foam shoes I’ve had, and probably the 7th or 8th pair of New Balances I’ve owned. As always, comfort, durability, performance and style are unparalleled for the money paid. I got these Arishi V4 in bright orange and they do not disappoint. They are light, supportive and comfortable—and really simple in design. Not ideal for any sustained cross training, long distance running or hiking but for regular gym workouts or just tramping around town—these are the best.
I do not recommend this shoe for 2 reasons. I've had mine for several months and rarely wear them.Reason one - due to the soft textured sole they squeak on almost every surface i walk on except carpeting. It's very annoying. The inserts are so thin it's a joke; I replaced them with Dr. Schol's inserts. I've never had this kind of dissatisfaction with any other NB shoes I've bought. In retrospect I'm sorry I didn't return them when I could.
