After seeing pictures of these in hand, I decided I had to get them. Once receiving them, they were nothing short of the quality of NB that we've come to know. Plush materials, no sloppy glue stains, good craftsmanship. These are also comfortable as well.The shoe fits true to size for me. For what it is worth, my size measures a 10E US on the Brannock device. Most if not all my Nike's are in a size 10, except for Air Max 1's which I go to 10.5 US.

Very comfortable and stylish silhouette. Product does run big though. I am a true size 8 in other brands, I went down a whole size (size 7) in this NB model. They fit great! Versatile colors and can go with many outfits
I love all the 990 models. The V2 has a firmer sole that while initially may seem less desirable, leaves my feet feeling less tired after being on them all day. The V3 is softer and an awesome shoe, but I feel like there was a reason the V5 felt so much like the 2. It's a plus this model is easy to wear and premium quality makes it a no-brainer for me.
These are very nice quality for the price. Ordered my true size but they run a bit big. But not as big as the flagship v2. I wish i ordered a half size smaller. That said, these are non returnable purchase. So I'm stuck with another pair that will get a lot of thinking before wearing(some will relate to this!).
If you have bigger feet, like not just length, but width and height, you are pretty much a lost cause, they are made for long skinny feet and will make your feet look extra fat, I immediately sent them back. They look nice, but fit is unfortunate. Also, one of my friends told me they run a little big, so I ordered a whole size down and they was still like an inch of space left.
990v2 are my favorite style new balances. Really comfortable. Lightweight. You can wear it with pants, joggers, shorts, low socks, crew socks. Can't go wrong with these. Outfits with everything.
I usually am a fan of nb sneakers but these missed the mark. I tried to return them but the company decided this specific pair is not returnable? and would not give me reason. Disappointing purchase and will not be buying NB again.
