I would not recommend this shoe. I never write reviews but I feel it is my duty to let the people know how painful this shoe is. I always thought of New Balance being a comfortable shoe brand. I was wrong. The top of the shoe pinches right where your toes bend, so whenever you take a step your toes get pinched and it's a very uncomfortable feeling. I wear these shoes and always regret it, even walking to the bus stop a block away from my house I'll be in pain. I noticed the pinching right when I got them, but I figured once the leather loosened it would be fine. It's been a month of me suffering through the pain to try and break the shoes in, still no luck.

Prior to purchasing my 550's I read the reviews. One of them said that they run big and to size a half size down. But, I followed my first mind and purchased my regular size. I wear size 10 and they fit perfectly. I do think they are narrow, but other than that I find them to be comfortable. I bought them to wear for Valentines Day. Great choice!!

These shoes are very comfortable. I love the style and they go well with many outfits and different types of jeans. My fiancé and father in law to be gifted them to me over the holidays and I seriously love them!

Love these shoes. I have quite narrow feet and these shoes actually fit me really well. I’m used to having to tighten shoes so much that they warp at the bottom but with these I don’t have that problem. They are definitely true to size. And have comfortable support inside that my old Nike airforces lack. So happy I bought these instead of new Nike shoes
The shoes I purchased were a Christmas gift for my grand daughter. They were sold out everywhere then I found Hibbitts. Got the shoes with-in 5 days, paid much less then I would have from the name brand site I was originally looking at beautiful shoes!!
I ordered a pair of new balance 550’s in Sea Salt/ Washed Burgundy. I received them quickly and they were in perfect condition. They are extremely comfortable for those that are active for the majority of the day. They may be my new favorite daily shoes and I have no complaints.
They’re really pretty just like in the picture ! I dont know why some say bad quality but they’re actually really nice and quite thick suprisingly ( not too much ). They’re “hard” at first but get comfy after like 3 wears . I’d recommend going like up 1 or a half size than ur usual size .
These shoes are cute from an aesthetic perspective, but they are low quality and poorly constructed. I've only had these shoes for about 1 month and the padding on the heel side wall has already begun to rip and disintegrate allowing the foam to show through. It will only be a matter of time until the foam wears through and these shoes become unwearable. For the price point this is unacceptable and I am extremely disappointed.
I bought this a month ago and was so happy with my purchase. For £120 you expect good quality products… not even in a week of having these the tongue in my right shoe under the laces has come clean off. No tear sound when coming off either. I was putting on the shoe and as you do you adjust the tongue and it comes clean off. Very disappointing for the price. It is like the tongue was never attached properly.
the shoe itself is nice from an aesthetic standpoint, but they are by far the most uncomfortable shoes ive ever worn. There are several other reviews stating the same. when i walk / bend my foot, the stiff leather by the front of the shoe where the laces begin, stabs my foot and it really hurts! i regret buying these
