Completely water proof, proper toe protection and comfortable while hiking in rough terrain. But the thread wears off fast, not suitable for climbing wet rocky trails and chances of foot rolling are high as well. For this price range needs more durability.

AMAZING!!!!

LOOOOOVE these shoes! Super comfortable when walking/stepping. The look of them are right up my alley & even got compliments from random people. Even the reflectiveness in the dark...is an added feature/reason why I purchased. I had my eye on them for some time, so I knew I wanted them was going to get them!

Best Nike Shoe. Period.

First pair almost 2 years old!!They really are ACG they’ve been put through everything and have become my all time favorite shoe.Break in period is tight on the foot but the more I’ve used the shoes the better they got.Break them in and they will last forever! Best bang for your money shoe.Oh and get a half size bigger. They run tight and smaller then other shoes. I am flat foot and a bit wider so break in was rough/tight for you fellow wide flat feet people. Don’t be scared they get really comfortable after a few uses.

Great and durable all-round shoe
4 March 2023

I’ve been wearing these for about a week now and have tested them in various conditions (snow, ice, mud, wet). The shoe has proved to be waterproof below the upper seam and also quite warm. Traction is nice, however the outsole is better suited for trails, not the pavement.Cushioning is fine, you definitely feel that there’s a carbon fiber plate inside, so it can be unusual at first, but is comfortable though and protects your feet from rocks and roots.Don’t be confused by other reviews, the shoe is true to size, but the fit is quite snug, especially in the toe box area. Heel slip is somewhat an issue, though it’s okay, if you tighten up the lacing loops.Overall the shoe is great for cold season trekking and does well in a city landscape too. Highly recommend ... MoreI’ve been wearing these for about a week now and have tested them in various conditions (snow, ice, mud, wet). The shoe has proved to be waterproof below the upper seam and also quite warm. Outstanding shoes that will always stay in my collection
20 August 2023

Excellent all around waterproof/trail/all weather shoes. I have 3 pairs of these and 2 of them are the low top cuts. I like this high tip the best because of the ankle bootie and toggle lace system. What separates these from the competition is the amazing traction and the carbon fiber plate sandwiched in between the React. It makes for a super stable and springy ride. I had an excellent time climbing a rock and dirt trail in Arkansas, and the Mountain Fly gave me insane amounts of confidence traversing the 5 mile trail. These command a premium price but I don't mind spending it on quality materials and technology from the other high performance shoes. I size up for a roomier toe box.

Runs really tight
24 September 2024

Really, really tough to get on. I went a size up. Normally 10.0. Bought 10.5. Granted I’m also wearing them for river hiking with neoprene socks. They’re just nearly impossible to get on. One I get them on, however, they really comfortable. The heel does slip some, but the rest of the shoe is truly like a glove.

Small, cramped toe box, poorly designed heel support. Not a good shoe for hiking. Looks good and is great for everyday use.
22 November 2022

Shoe seems durable but isn't comfortable. I usually wear a size 10, and I size up a half to 10.5 with all ACG shoes, but this still felt too tight, especially when it compresses down on my toenails. I would have liked to size up to 11 to try and see if that would have solved the toe area, but it was already sold out. Also, when you walk, your heel will slip slightly. This isn't the worst problem if you are using this shoe as a weather-beating everyday shoe, but on hikes, it would make uphill trekking very difficult. Overall, seems like an attractive shoe designed for a nice techwear look, but in reality, doesn't really live up to the needs it's advertised for. I would have definitely used this for heavy rain walking if the size 11 worked well.

The “Hiking Shoe”
2 June 2023

Awesome Hiking ShoeI went with my normal size fit and they are a bit snug but I truly believe they’re supposed to fit that way since I did not experience heel slip like other reviewers. For those with wide feet like myself I think you will be fine with your regular size.Walking dirt trails with a few creek crossings these shoes performed amazingly. Outer sole provides the traction needed on steep dirt hills, and clear pebble full creeks. The gore-tex upper was waterproof as described. The overall comfort of the shoe was great given it’s purpose and intended environmentsIf you’re on the fence about these, don’t be. Buy em and hiking will be all you look forward to

These just don't fit
23 October 2023

I really wanted to like these shoes. I ordered several sizes to see if I could make it work but it just doesn't.I absolutely love how they look. But they just don't fit.I usually wear either a size 11 or 10.5. Since people were saying they were running on the smaller end, I purchased the 11 first. They actually fit pretty well, except for the heel. As other have brought up in the comments, these shoes have 0 heel support.I figured maybe the shoes were too big. After all, they're supposed to be hiking-ish shoes, which means they're supposed to be snug. So I bought the 10.5. Now they're too small. I actually struggle putting them in. And I think they would hurt my feet in the long run (or maybe they would loosen given time) but somehow... the heel is still ... MoreI really wanted to like these shoes.
