Comfort and style!

I bought my 11 year old son these sneakers. The oversized Air unit in the heel provides cushioning, making every step feel light and comfortable. The breathable mesh upper keeps my son’s feet cool during long wear.Overall, the Nike Air Max 270 strikes a perfect balance between style and functionality. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a versatile sneaker that doesn’t compromise on comfort!

Great Look, Questionable Quality

I bought these shoes less than a year ago. I love the look of the shoes but any lateral movement (e.g. playing casual tennis) caused the soles to ride up the side and it was very uncomfortable, that was noticeable straight away. I had to adjust the sole but it’s as if they were unsecured or unglued. Also holes in the mesh appeared very quickly at the toe and both edges of the toe flex of one shoe. For $160, this should absolutely not be the case.

Needs better quality control…

Ordered *early* as a Christmas gift for my son. I’m glad I checked the shoes before wrapping them! The box came damaged (no biggie) but upon further inspection, noticed one of the shoes looked aged. Maybe a display pair? No inside tissue wrapping like new Nike shoes normally arrive. These look to be clearly damaged and the fact that Nordstrom pegged them on an online order is frustrating. I’m now forced to hunt them down a week before Christmas. Please get better quality control on online orders!

Nike Air Max 270 Casual Shoes are the best
13 December 2023

This is now my SECOND pair of these shoes. I picked them up originally in standard black/white because I was looking for a stylish Air Max shoe that was catered to more casual vs. working out. Those ones fit the bill. They were so comfy and stylish that I eventually bought a 2nd pair of the same shoe in the White. Could not be happier. Price is a little high but they go on sale quite frequently, and honestly it's worth the cost. I will be looking to pickup other colors as well.

Poor Warranty Service from Nike
4 March 2024

My son purchased these shoes with the money he had earned for school clothes. After owning them for over a year his left shoe went flat. We were excited to learn Nike warrantied the shoes for two years from the manufacture date and began the warranty process. Dicks instructed us to call Nike to file a warranty claim. Now we stand 2 months later and still no voucher from Nike. We have called Nike several times and each time they are polite but unwilling to expedite the claim. We just keep being told the voucher has been mailed out and should be there any day. Well that claim is no longer ringing true. Nike refuses to just give a credit for their online store or compensate the for the 2 month delay. Frustrated, just frustrated.

Poor quality
19 November 2023

Purchased these for general use...gym/walking. After less than 30 days, the top of the shoe near the toe area was tearing through (and yes I wear a thick sock.) The material is stiff and not well ventilated. The sole provides little comfort when walking for extended periods of time. My expectation with the Air Sole at the heel, the comfort level would be much higher. Paid $140 and was disappointed with the overall quality and comfort. Look cool but would not recommend.

Poor quality for a Nike shoe. Dicks has horrible return policy.
20 March 2024

These shoes were purchased a month ago. The inside sole is falling out. I went to return to Dicks since I am within their 90 day return policy. Dicks will no longer take any Nike or Adidas shoe for exchange/refund. You have to go thru Nike or Adidas warranty program. Nike will not exhange/refund since these our outdated shoes. They will only take shoes within a 2yr date. These shoes are dated 2/2022. I am now out $160. Think twice before purchasing this style or any shoe from Dicks Sporting Good.

Walking on air
13 July 2024

My boyfriend has been having so much problems with his heals hurting due to his work life and having to stand on a forklift most of the day. We looked all over and tried so many different pairs but none seemed to last long in comfort. I decided to get these for him as a birthday present and well he loves them! He said his feet have stopped hurting and he feels like he is walking on a cloud! His only true issue was the narrowing but that was just an issue when he first put them on. Now they like, shaped to his feet.Definitely a 10/10!

Why choose between style & comfort when you could have both
16 July 2024

This show is by far my favorite shoe. I've finally found a shoe that is durable, comfortable, and stylish. This show does run a little small so definitely go up 1/2 size than normal. But overall great all day long lasting wear. I work in these and after a long day my feet still are fresh, rejuvenated and ready for more. Definitely planning buying another one.

these shoes wear out quickly
4 June 2024

I’ve been wearing Nike sneakers for the past 25 years and never had a problem until this one. And I’m a 50 year old guy, I wear these shoes, maybe twice a week to do moderate workouts. After about four months, the air pillow on the left shell suddenly collapsed. I couldn’t walk in the shoe or use it anymore because it was uncomfortable. I wrote to Nike let them know that the shoe seemed to be defective and they told me that it was from normal wear and tear. The quality of the product seems to have diminished. My new favorite brand is Hoka.
