Nike does a great job with the design of this Vapormax. To start, it is a nice, light shoe and the material is also very lightweight and breathable. This eliminated the potential of sweaty feet when wearing them for long periods of time. The air bubbles along the bottom of the shoe add great support and a nice bounce to your step. Although the Vapormax does not have the traditional shoe bottom and opts for the air bubbles, it doesn’t sacrifice support and comfortability. I wore these shoes all day while packing up boxes and moving. There was never a moment where my feet were sore or uncomfortable. Because of that, these are a staple shoe for me that I choose to wear frequently for everyday walking/tasks.Usually, I order a half size up in Vapormaxes, but this time ... MoreNike does a great job with the design of this Vapormax. So I would say order true to size, but if you want a roomier fit go half size up! One thing I will advise is if you have a wide foot, these might not be a good option as they are pretty narrow. Overall, if you are looking for a comfortable, stylish, everyday shoe, these Vapormaxes are the one to get!

First off, the air is very bouncy. That's fun.I have a pair of the original VaporMax from 2017, and the new version feels like an upgrade. The Flyknit feels more substantial, a little thicker and more durable, but without feeling heavier or less breathable. The insole is more breathable and the tongue is thicker, which is much better because of the reduced lace pressure across the top of the feet. Also the laces are thicker and round instead of flat and thin. They definitely improved on the OG. They feel more stable underfoot than the original version, to the point that I thought they were lower-profile, but I took out the old pair for a side-by-side comparison and they appear to be the same height. So the reconfiguration of the air units and/or materials must ... MoreFirst off, the air is very bouncy. You can't even call them "sneakers", because you are not sneaking anywhere with these things on. I'm sure there's a great reason for them to have chosen this specific type of material, but the squeak/clack noise is maddening and makes me want to quickly scurry to a different surface so that I can't hear it anymore. That's my only complaint about the shoe.Other than that, just a warning for flat-footers. There is zero arch support and the instep will end up looking like a muffin top.

The Nike Air VaporMax 2023 Flyknit is Nike’s latest runner using a 1-piece curved air piece running the entire length of the shoe. This was first time wearing a VaporMax shoe so I was really excited to give them a try. I am an avid runner who runs around 4-5 times per week who loves to participate in marathons and half-marathons throughout the year so I am constantly rotating shoes. In the past my favorite shoes to run in are the Nike Pegasus 37 and the Nike Air Zoom Tempo NEXT% Flyknit and I am happy to say that the Nike Air VaporMax 2023 surpasses them all. I loved the upper Flyknit that mold to my feet and the one-piece zoom gives a great bounce every time my foot hits the ground. the overall aesthetic of the shoe is beautiful. I love how I can wear them casually ... MoreThe Nike Air VaporMax 2023 Flyknit is Nike’s latest runner using a 1-piece curved air piece running the entire length of the shoe. So far I have ran 100 miles with these shoes and the cushioning and comfortability of the shoes is still holding up. Preferably I would like a more firmer collar around the ankle area for more support. Also I would rather have flat laces than rounded ones because sometimes they become undone more often. I cannot wait to see how Nike further improves the tech of this shoe for 2024 if it’s even possible because this shoe is pretty perfect.

Really was not sure what to expect with these! I have never worn Vapormaxes before but I see them around everywhere so I assumed they must be pretty comfortable. My guess was correct because these are a very comfortable and lightweight shoe thanks to the breathable knit upper of the shoe.I really like the color way of the black and white of the shoe I think it goes great with the vapor max silhouette. It did take me a little time to get used to the sole of the shoe, the vapor max is slightly different than a traditional shoe sole so keep that in mind when you first try these on. I would be careful if it is wet or raining outside because they can be a little slippery right out of the box, but after a few wears they feel like a totally normal shoe.I have been ... MoreReally was not sure what to expect with these! I would be careful if it is wet or raining outside because they can be a little slippery right out of the box, but after a few wears they feel like a totally normal shoe.I have been wearing these for a few weeks now when I am out of the house and for long walks. These are definitely comfortable to wear all day long and I have walked several miles in them with no issues. The only thing I would change about these shoes are the laces, I find they come untied pretty frequently due to the material they are made of. I have been double knotting the laces which has solved the issue so this is very minor all things considered.I definitely recommend these shoes and if you’re someone like me who has never worn Vapormaxes I especially encourage you to try them out because they are quickly becoming my go-to sneaker!
These shoes are a great daily-wearing pair of sneakers that will stand out, while also providing a comfortable stride and breathability. The flyknit upper of the shoes feels very nice and airy but also secure on foot. The laces have some elasticity to them that helps the shoe to feel snug when laced, but not overly tight. I'm sure the laces could easily be adjusted to allow for these shoes to regularly be slipped on without lacing, and they would still feel very secure for walking. The air unit on the bottom of the shoe is definitely a bold statement, and the shine off of the bubble draws the eye very quickly. The feel of the air under foot is very comfortable, but feels like it is best used for casual wear, not exercise. If you're a fan of air maxes and want to step up the amount of air that you show off, these are definitely the shoes for you.I really like that these shoes use at least 20% recycled material by weight. Looking at the insole of the shoe, you can see a patter that I assume includes this recycled material. I appreciate wearing a shoe that not only looks very stylish, but also helps to reduce the amount of material that ends up in landfills rather than being reused in this way. The material still feels very premium.
I have always been a fan of any racer/flyknit Nike trainer, these are the first pair I've worn with a vapormax sole. On first wear the flyknit upper is much nicer than I remember as they have added padding to the heel cup and tongue for added support and comfort, as for the vapormax sole it was comfortable for the first few hours of wear while at work but eventually the notches within the pattern would dig into the ball of my foot and on the lateral side of the heel. I gave them another shot at the gym and went running and thats where these really shined, the amount of support these shoes give you from heel strike to toe drag is incomparable, its like I was running on clouds. The upper is breathable flyknit that shapes directly to your foot, but it does not stop your foot from rolling over the side of the shoe much if you decide to use it for activities that require quick stop and go. The design is the shoe is excellent and comes in eye catching color blocking that fit any style. I have some what wider feet, I believe for others who may have more narrow foot anatomy these would definitely be comfortable for all day long, but for me 8 hours is a max. If I could change anything about the shoe it would be adding some support on the lateral and medial sides of the upper to kind of enclose the shoe a bit to prevent rolling over the sole when moving quickly.

I purchased the Nike Vapormax 3 months ago. This is my first pair of Vaormax. I had heard good things about them and decided to try them for myself. The shoe is narrow and I would not recommend performing any dynamic sport or activities as there would be a high risk of ankle injuries. Several people have commented on how narrow they look on my feet. They will be a casual shoe for me that I will wear mainly at work or just walking. They are stiff out of the box but have loosened a little with wear. The tongue portion of the shoe is short and the laces almost lay on the top edge of the tongue. I would recommend for a casual shoe but not for dynamic sport participation.
