I am a runner with fifty years of experience training in every brand of shoe imaginable. I even got married in silver Nike Pegasus. But never have I had a shoe this durable and long-wearing. I've had them a year now, and am still running 10-milers in them. They are indeed weatherproof as can be. Not completely waterproof, but admirably so. The soles feature the best traction I've ever seen in a running shoe of any kind. The full air sole is cushiony, if a bit thick-feeling at times. But my feet stayed warm all last winter and even during the summer months, I wore these on wet grass and trails. This model is great, but I imagine the new one is just as good. Worth the money...more than any other shoe I've ever purchased. And that's a lot.

I love how they look and feel but these are the worse pair of Nike’s I’ve ever bought. I don’t know if I just got a bad pair but the left shoe squeaks like the boots from that one spongebob episode and both seem to be falling apart rather quickly after only a few months of use. I’ve taken them on some runs but I normally wear them as everyday shoes so I’m not sure as to why they’re falling apart. Buy with caution.

First Pegasus overall super awesome shoe. True to size fit, good support and awesome weather proofing. The two negatives I have noticed is the air bag in the front of the foot you feel. It’s like a sugar packet under your foot guessing. Does add more strike cushion but takes getting used to. Second the the heel tail is horrible. Careful on stairs lol. With that being said still an awesome shoe that I will keep and overlook the bad spots

I've had these a few weeks now. I needed some warm, grippy shoes for walking and running when the snow hit and these have really met my needs. I am usually a size 10.5 in Nike but went with a size 11 and these fit like a glove. Very comfortable, excellent support, and my feet are never cold even when trouncing through 10" of snow. Excellent grip on wet pavement or snowy sidewalks. So long as there's no ice under it, you'll be good. Excellent shoes.
Great shoe. They've held up nicely for me, but I don't run much, mostly walking. Excellent water resistance, almost waterproof. Pegasus comfort. One caveat, they run a half-size small for sure, not narrow just short. If you wear thick socks you might consider going a full size up.
I cannot express how much I love these shoes. So comfortable. I can run in the rain and feet stay completely dry. No shin splints. No calf pain. The traction is phenomenal. Huge plus, they are customizable and the color choices are amazing. I wish I could upload a photo of the pair I designed, but, I also don’t want anyone stealing my swag. Look no further. Buy these. I’m tempted to buy a second pair to save in case I can’t buy these anymore once I run through these.
I bought these shoes to wear at work. They are too small. I usually wear a woman's size 10 but I've found men's shoes are usually wider so I ordered a 8.5 (which is what I always order when getting men's shoes). I've worn them for four 12-hour shifts now and I can't even go the whole shift without having to take them off and giving my feet a rest. I've even tried wearing compression socks to help. I was hoping they would stretch or something, but no luck. Aside from squeezing the tops and sides of my feet too tight, the souls are very comfortable. I will have to order different shoes for work because I can't take it anymore.
The shoe is very comfortable. It feels like walking on a cloud. However, the sneaker is too tight on the top part of my foot. Normally, loosening the laces will fix this problem. But the laces on these sneakers look like they're there for visual reasons. The sneaker is built in a way where the tongue starts higher on your foot, so loosening the laces will only give more space to top part of your feet and not the middle. I am going to wear the sneakers for a few more weeks hoping after I break them in the sneaker won't feel tight. Otherwise, I will be returning them and swapping then for a half size up.
Been running in the U.S. northeast in Pegs for years. Always liked them but feet got cold in the winter even with wool socks. Figured I'd give the Shields a try and I was not disappointed. Even on very cold and windy days my feet feel toasty... in fact I have to be careful to wear them when it gets too hot out.Like my other non-Shield Peg 37s, the heel was a little loose, but I swapped out the laces for longer ones and used heel lock lacing, which solved that problem perfectly. And like my other 37s they fit a bit tight, but I sorta like that and just wear thin socks (Darn Tough ultralight merino). Plus, after 10-20 miles they break in and loosen up some.Overall, very happy with them.
Have a few wet (not raining) runs with these shoes and have been pleased. Still on the fence if it may have been a better idea to pay more for the Gore-Tex Pegasus Trail, but time will tell (these were cheaper). I got my normal size but if I had to do it again would consider going up by a half size to accommodate thicker socks, as this shoe is more snug that the comparable non-Shield version of the Peg. Overall so far me feet have remained dry and toasty! 👍
