Trying the Pegasus for first time. Currently I have run 3 runs of 7kms. The Shoe fits perfectly to the size. If we compare it with Winflo 8, the shoe is little tighter but it can be negligible after few runs as the foot adjusts the show.This shoe for sure requires some breakin before going full gas.Currently I am running on these shoe in temperature around 40 degree celcius. May be after a month I will go for long run in this temperature and then I can know how shoe reacts in hot weather long run.

When looking for a nice pair of comfortable shoes, I tend to look towards Nike. The days of Nike Airs for under $50 are long gone (thanks to those darn kids). Thus comfort now comes with a cost. Once one find a good line of shoes, you move forward to find a good look.The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 version is very nice. I wear a size 12 or 13. Since this is a running shoe, I moved to 13 and it was the right call. I am NOT a runner but prefer the light weight and confort provided here. The cost is high but it is worth it. Good luck!

I've bought several pairs of shoes from another well known brand that's known for the comfort aspect but doesn't always make the best looking trainers!These Nike ones, although a little pricier, are definitely worth it. Really comfortable, even on long days of walking.The only thing I'm not massively keen on is the breathable fabric as your feet can get a little cold, and they're not great in wet weather.Not sure why manufacturers have stopped making leather trainers!I'm normally a size 9 but had to go for 9.5 in these as the 9's were too snug.

One of the things that I do when I test the shoe is to walk on the side of a hillside and how much support do I get do I slide sideways to the left of the shoe or do I keep a steady pressure that is stable. Feels almost too perfect. Wearing these, you get the decades of engineering refinement Nike has put into their flagship runners.In some ways these don't feel right as casual wear, just walking around, or even other non athletic training. You HAVE to run in these, and they both emphasise and support good form in terms of foot placement, roll, stride, etc.So long as you get the right sizing, these will enhance your running.A serious runner for those serious about their training.

At slower paces, the Zoom air-bag feels cushioned and does a good job damping out impact forces. At faster paces, the air-bag feels firmer and provides a noticeable rebound effect. The outsole traction is excellent, even for mild trail running. The crash-rail on the outer edge of the outsole is excellent for supinators who tend to put heavy wear in this area.The only downside is the Pegasus 38 required about 40 miles to really break-in. Initially, I could feel the creases in the Zoom air-bag on my right foot. These creases caused numbness and some discomfort initially on the ball of my foot. My Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 running sneakers were a birthday gift from my wife. As an avid runner, the kicks were a perfect choice! The size was true to fit. The color was bright enough that when I run, I can be spotted in daylight or at night. As I stride, I feel supported. Which is important. The best part of this is it's weight. It's so light that I feel like I'm running in the clouds. Running miles after miles feels effortless in these shoes. Now I'm all set for my marathons this 2022. Oh, one more thing- it's price. On point. Nothing more, nothing less. I'm now a raving fan of this running shoes.
If you need cushion this is for you. I am 70 plus neutral runner who last had Pegasus 30 years ago. These are much softer, hoping easier on my old legs. Will use them only for training as they feel a bit like running in gumboots. Hence the low rating.Will take a while to get used to and too early to gauge durability of the Pegasus. The sales girl talked me into these. What a mistake I made. Uncomfortable from start to finish. I thought I would wear them in but to no avail.Firstly, the lace system is awful, making it difficult to get them evenly laced. I've had to take them off several times while exercising to re-adjust the laces. With pressure distribution in all the wrong spots.Second thing. They are HOT! Expect to cook your feet.Third thing. The inner cushioning pressure points are all wrong. Pressure is placed on the arch of my foot causing it to cramp. Something hard digs into the outside of my foot, it hurts and just feels wrong. I will never buy Nike shoes again. For the bin
