After using these shoes for a while, I am finally able to provide an informed review. Initially, I was really impressed with the style, comfort, and breathability of the shoes. However, after a short time, I noticed that the material on the back of the heel began to rip. I have to admit that I was disappointed, especially considering the investment I made in these shoes. The shoes were so close to being exactly what I wanted, but this minor flaw ruined it for me. Since the shoes ripped, I ended up turning them into work shoes instead of using them for their intended purpose. If this issue is fixed, I would definitely consider buying another pair. While I appreciate the quality of the shoes, I am hesitant to purchase another similar shoe. I have mixed feelings about them to be honest. As they are comfy. I have had 2 pairs (black and white, and the blue pairs)The durability is the issue for me. Had my first pair for only maybe 2 months at most. Before they were debatable unwearable. Where the foam had just run down to where it was practically another sock just waiting to rip through. And then the head material is just so thin.Upper material is good. But the foam and head material don’t last very long

I love these shoes. This is the sixth pair I've purchased in the last couple of years. They're very lightweight, and I love how the sole is flexible. It really makes it difficult to go back to more conventional rigid shoe designs. The only downside that occurs to me is that much of the top part of the shoe is cloth, and if you were doing anything rough it would be easy to snag and rip the cloth parts. That hasn't been an issue for my own habits, but something to consider if you do lots of outdoor activities or have pets that love to play with your shoes.

I love these shoes. Have never worn a shoe more comfortable. Have bought 3 now, different colors, all are still in motion. As can be with Nike shoes, I think they run a little small. I normally wear either a 9.5 or 10 but need 10.5 in these shoes. I have never worn 10.5 or larger in any shoe other than Nike. Doesn't matter. Find the size that works for you and get them. Noticed right away that the shoe strings on each pair are different styles. I like all 3. Was an interesting thing to discover. I have to admit that I know people who think these are unattractive shoes. And I'm a person who typically worries too much about what others think. But I truly don't care. They're great shoes, look good to me, and feel amazing.
These are the absolute best best best shoes for my feet and I really need Nike to keep making them. I wear them to death. I have never had shoes that are immediate yes out of the box until these. Please stop trying to improve them - just keep making these in all the glorious colors you had so I can reorder. As far as what I like about the shoes - I have an extremely flat foot and I've never had a better fit. My foot is like a pancake - not just my arch but the whole foot is thin. And these are perfect for that. My usual Nike size is a women's 11, but this shoe works better for me in a Men's 9.5. I have a neutral stride so I don't need any correction. But seriously, Nike, I'm begging you to keep these coming.
I bought these about a year ago and they are so comfortable and light and I just love to wear them and walk and run in them. Only problem is that the tread design allows little rocks to get stuck in the sole. Lots of rocks! I found myself stopping every couple of miles to clean them out. Worse yet is that the rocks in the Ozarks have sharp edges and will burrow their way right up into the tread, actually getting inside the tread and sticking into the soles of my feet. You see, the outer tread is pretty tough, but the material under it is very soft, almost like sponge rubber. So, sharp rocks cut right through it, and sometimes even stack up to push each other even deeper. Strangely, both shoes had this "hole in the sole" right under my heel spike, which caused me ... MoreI bought these about a year ago and they are so comfortable and light and I just love to wear them and walk and run in them. Now I can't even take them on a road run because every rock goes up into the tread. They are still good for the treadmill though!
Nike free are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Over the years, I have had several different versions of these, and they are all incredibly light, flexible and feel just like wearing a sock. In fact, they feel amazing whether you wear socks in them or not. These ones are no exception. It's important to now that they have no air cushion, and although the sole is relatively thick it doesn't absorb much of an impact. However, what makes up for it is the amazing flexibility of the sole - they roll off naturally while running or walking, precisely following the motion of your feet without adding any shear or directional impact response. Instead, they enhance it in an unobtrusive way, being practically weightless.
