Since he outgrown his last pair in 2020, he has primarily ran through the complete Phantom elite line the last 4 years and always compared them to the hypervenoms. This is perfect when making contact with the ball, you truly can feel the direction you're hitting the ball in with your foot. This cleat provides adequate cushioning, helping absorb impact and enhances overall comfort during play. The cleats fit snugly without causing discomfort or pressure points. The cleats do run small so I would get 1/2 size up compared to what you normally wear in daily sneaker wear. The design in a unique pattern that pops when you look at the cleat form a distance. There's proper ankle support with the banded wrapping at the ankle this cleat provides. There is a slight stickiness to it that helps you move the ball, but it doesn’t get stuck to your foot. On the areas of the upper that aren’t the 3D modeled area, it’s smooth and sturdy. It’s a nice contrast. I also liked the knit of the cleat. It reminds me of a Vapor model that I had and loved.The aspect of the cleat that I like the most is the traction. It’s very strong and I feel comfortable with it as someone who changes directions and speed in an instant a lot. As far as changes are concerned, there isn’t anything that comes to mind so far. These are really good cleats and I’m saying that as someone who’s been wearing Nike cleats since Vapor 2’s.

My passes with the soccer shoes were crisp and the shots that were propelled from the contact zone of my shoes were with pinpoint accuracy. My only knock on the shoes is the cleats do not cut as well on thicker grass or taller grassy fields; they work best on shorter grass or turf fields. The Nike Phantom Luna II Elite FG is the best choice for any soccer player looking for an edge on the field.
