Being a huge fan of the Greek Freak and never ever having any signature shoe before, I had to get these Freak 1s to ball in. Though I haven't had to chance to see how these shoes will do on court, first impressions of them are positive. They do fit a half size smaller so I recommend getting a half size up. They fit snug, but not too tight. Just enough to feel confident they won't slip on you while balling. Feels a bit rigid but I haven't even walked on these yet so will see how they are after the proper break in period.Back to the fit, my orginal true to size pair was a bit snug so I reached out to Nike about exchanging them. They processed everything and I received my next pair in a week. Great customer service and they really do want to take care of you. A+

Great shoe for a great price love the direction that Nike and Giannis took with this 1st generation of his shoes. I will say sizing wise I would recommend sizing up just a half size up if your unable to try a pair on. Unfortunately for me I’m a 12 us, but like most basketball players I Have flat feet and use orthotics in all my performance footwear, so looking for a 12.5 is nearly impossible In store .the toe box is a bit more on the narrow side, but of overall great shoe. Looking forward for his next models.

I was drawn to these shoes the first time I saw them. However, I did not order them when they first came out. I figured I would have time in the near future. As luck would have it, they sold out of my size (14) within two weeks. I was very disaponited and I decided the next time they were available, I would buy them immediately.I purchased these shoes and they arrived last week. They surpassed my expectations. The colors are bold and vibrant. The fit is great and they are unique. If anyone wants to make a bold fashion statement, then these are the right pair of Nikes for you. Thanks Nike for pushing the envelope of creativity and innovation.

These shoes are very comfortable. To say there's plenty of padding is almost an understatement. From the moment I put these on, it felt like I was walking on clouds. Comfort is definitely 5 stars. Support is really good as well. I broke these in playing volleyball, like I usually do, and they felt light on my feet, with plenty of bounce. Traction wasn't bad, but could be better. Looking forward to testing them out on a 5 on 5 game.
Actually I'm a 54 year old woman that stands on her feet for eight hours most days. My job requires me to move back and forth. On top of that, I have arthritis in my left knee and right ankle. I've had difficulty finding the right show. OMG!! The first day I wore these shoes I realized my knee did not hurt as much as other shoes I wear (All Nike's of course). My right foot is another story. It wasn't until the second time I wore the shoes did I notice the comfort level increase.I have received numerous compliments on the shoes. The design is awesome! I have no problem standing out in the court. I proudly tell people the shoes are called Zoom Freaks, Employee of the Month!
I bought these shoes for my son for Christmas to play high school basketball with. He loved them from the moment he opened the box on Christmas day. Could not wait to wear them to his next game. He said they were by far the best sneakers he had ever had and one of the best Christmas presents he has ever opened. Made me feel good. I've had these shoes for about a week now and played on 3 different indoor courts. The first time playing, the traction was not great but it was on a very dusty court and honestly the traction has improved after a week of play. I wear a size 10 in just about every other shoe (converse, dress shoes, clarks), but a size 10 in this was very tight especially in the toes. Returned the size 10 for a 10.5 and it's a great fit. Overall, i'm happy with my purchase and look forward to putting these on before playing.
I know all feet are different, but I’m really loving the look and comfort of these Freak 1s. Solid shoe, great construction, the grip is amazing in a quick stop and push laterally situation, like a crossover, and it’s no so bulky or heavy you feel it weighs you down. I wish I had gone a half size up just for a bit more room in the toe box, but otherwise I’m happy with these. At some point Nike should have a group of people sample and try on all the stuff for fit. I’m a 10 and that varies GREATLY across Nikes lineup of shoes. A 10 in Freak 1 is not the same as a 10 in Kobe Protro.
My first pair of kicks from the latest and best talent in the NBA! What caught my eye with this shoe was the classic red plaid on the logo and the tongue. Absolutely love the homage to the movie 'Coming to America' on the shoe tongue. In addition, the plaid is from the McDowell's restaurant uniform where Prince Akeem worked makes this my favorite pair of kicks! When I wore them, already got a complement about how nice they look! The color combo with the plaid blends in with anything your are wearing without standing out. . If plaid is your thing and Giannis is your guy, these shoes will be a nice edition to any shoe collection!
Bought this shoe just for looks and running around town - turns out it's a serious court shoe. Amazing lockdown, great traction on all surfaces. I bought my normal Nike size 12 and have a narrow foot, and this fits exactly on but very snug. If you have a wider foot, you might want half a size bigger. Great looking and gets a lot of comments - but definitely not a casual lounger shoe - this shoe is built to support and looks like it will last forever.
