Do not buy! Bad quality, expensive and not durable

After 6 weeks of buying them, they started to have drift issues. I change them with the warranty, and the second pair lasted like 2 months and started to disconnect randomly (connection issues) when they are detached from the switch. I compared this Joycons with the factory ones that came originally with the Nintendo Switch (those lasted more than 1 year), and this ones feels lighter and cheaper. They feel like a “rebuild/remanufactured” joycon selled as new. I would not recommend buying them. For the same price you can buy a Pro Controller, after 4-5 months the pro controller doesn’t have any issue at all.

Joycons are inherently bad

I love the colors. If you want to play any of the fun multiplayer and nintendo exclusive games, get the joycons. If you would rather have a better experience on any solo/first person game I recommend the holi-split pad (same price? And turbo mode). Joy cons make my forearms ache. If you have stressed and strained wrists from work, dont get joycons for single player handheld gaming. They also have less game hours on average in their life span than any main console controllers on the market (hundreds vs thousands).

Seamless compatibility and integration.

The Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controller are in my opinion the only way to go when it comes to replacing/adding controllers to a Switch device.Unlike 'compatible' devices, the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers are the only controller type to seamlessly integrate with the Switch device, with no lag, connection issues, or poor construction leading to peripheral failure and ultimately wasted money.The Nintendo Switch Joy-Cone controllers may be more outlay initially, but in terms of fit for purpose usability and compatibility, they are the way to go.That being said, they can and do wear out, and if not cared for they will be the first thing to fail on a Switch device!

They are just fine.

They are as they seem! That is, they seem to be just like the original one, for the switch. Now, we can have all 3 of us play (or for you, up to 4) at the same time, for games (like Mario Cart) where you use one of those two controllers. (Colors didn't mean anything to us. We got "NeonPink/NeonGreen" only b/c it could arrive more quickly than other options. Maybe different colors has some minor benefit, mentally remembering which one to charge, or something. But otw, you'll immediately know, yourself, if you care about color - or it seems non-relevant... I think.)

I was immediately suspicious when they arrived because they were not in a Nintendo box. Very similar looking but nowhere on the packaging does it actually say Nintendo Switch or Joy-Con. At first glance, they look almost exactly like the real deal but just picking them up and pushing a few of the buttons quickly gives them away. They are much lighter, the buttons and joysticks are pretty rough, and they just feel cheap in your hands. There was a noticeable delay with the majority of the buttons. The home button wouldn't wake up my console half the time. I also had to turn off the vibration because they slightly vibrated randomly every so often and the times they actually vibrated when they were supposed to the feeling was closer to an old power drill that's about to explode as opposed to a well-balanced pair of dual shocks. I would give these zero stars if I could. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. These controllers are trash that are nowhere near the quality expected from Nintendo. I will be returning these and purchasing replacements from another retailer since apparently, Walmart is so desperate to become the new Amazon they don't properly vet what is being sold on their website.

Playing crash bandicoot is difficult because I don’t feel they are as sensitive as PS4 controllers. For the price point, it seems like we are getting ripped off here. The only good thing is that you can send them in for repair which Nintendo does very quickly in my opinion.I like that they offer some fun colors in these and that they are very easy to use.
