It has a wonderful taste that pairs perfectly with my daily cups of tea and coffee, as well as my Greek yogurt. The only minor drawback is that I find myself using a slightly higher dosage since its ratio is 1:1, whereas the stevia products I've used in the past had ratios of 2:1, 5:1, and even 10:1. Overall, I am delighted with this stevia product and would highly recommend it.

I use 1/4 teaspoon to sweeten a large mug of tea, herbal tea or hot cocoa. 1 teaspoon sweetens a pitcher of iced tea. I carry a small container of this in my purse for restaurants because it's so much better than the sweetener packets they provide, and I choose not to drink extra calories. This product allows me to do this while still satisfying my sweet tooth! I know it seems like a lot of money, but try a smaller size to make sure you love it, then go ahead and enjoy the considerable cost savings of buying this 1 pound size.

I sweeten my coffee each morning with Now Better Stevia for many many years. I avoid sugar especially during mornings on empty stomach when I drink my coffee with a glass of whater, good for my andy wife diets. Don't think that the recommended amount is usually enough, I pour a bit more in coffee and wife even more. When I go out to meet people and know that I will drink coffee, I use to take a bit of Better Stevia with me.This large packging is the most cost effective packaging, so I buy this size and refill from time to time.Quality is very good. I like that it does not contain weird stuff like other stevia products.It tastes very good, no weird taste like other stevia products.

It has grooves on the back in which the stevia powder collects and falls off when you take the scoop out of the bottle. It is extremely wasteful! It's also much shorter than the bottle, especially the larger size, and about 3/4 of the way through the 1oz bottle, it's impossible to get out or use to get the stevia out easily. Originally, the product included a functional scoop that was a single piece of plastic, no indents, grooves or ridges, and scooped the stevia powder out of its container cleanly and easily. I cannot imagine why it was altered and I am also disappointed because the newer, less effective scoop is about twice the width, plus additions on the back, ... If you read labels of other stevia products you will find they have often other sweeteners in it. This one is organic, no other sweetener, I trust the brand and have had good experience with other items from them.Personally I am having a hard time consuming stevia because it has a bitter after taste. That is info helpful to anyone who has yet to try stevia, its not a brand issue. The package is smaller than it looks but the servings are a lot so it will last you a while.It works well in Virgin mojitos with soda and you can hide it better in smoothies.
Now Foods is known for their quality, consistency, and at a fair price. Do not let the package size fool you. A teeny tiny spoon is included and less than a pinch equalls a spoon of sucrose sugar. While the jar looks small, it is equivalent to over 800 spoons of sugar. I have heard some say that they do not like the taste of the off white stevia, but this is pure white and tastes great. To use for baking where one needs the bulk and the long chain polymer, some recipe modifications are necessary, but this is great in tea, coffee and other drinks.
