It's made to sandwich in between the lacing and the opening which makes them feel kind of strange to loosen up the laces and put on the shoe. My other pair of On Clouds do not have this kind of design.

Super comfortable. Got these for my husband to wear as a more casual yet dressed up look for a more relaxed Saturday night out.
I was a little hesitant when I first tried these on because they seemed really stiff. But after walking in them they’re great! Perfect shoe for being on my feet at work all day. I got a ten and they fit perfectly.
I am a woman who wears a size 8 in women's shoes. I had no idea these were mens shoes when I was buying them, but that doesn't bother me at all because I love the color scheme so much. What's awesome is the mens 8 fits me perfectly. So if you can't find a women's Roger shoe with your ideal color scheme, try the mens on! I am usually a size 6.5 in men's so this was a shocker for me. Also, if you are a guy looking at these shoes, definitely size up!
This good looking court shoe is perfect for Pickleball. It also made for a great birthday gift for a dear friend and fellow Pickleballer! Perfect fit, comfort and made it through 2 hours of the game with NO issues, whatsoever. Some observers even believed that the individuals level of play was improved!
The sneakers were as advertised and I like them very much on my feet. My only reason for not giving a 5 star review is that they were stuck in the warehouse in FL for 2-3 days and could not get here in time for my overseas trip. Just need to work on fulfillment.
Nice support on the court and stylish enough to wear elsewhere. I like that they can be thrown in the washing machine when needed. I've owned a couple pair of ON Clouds and they have become my favorite athletic shoe.
