Our puppy loves this food! We have been feeding our Frenchie the Raw mix for over a year now. We were so excited to see the addition of puppy food! We got our puppy when he was still really young, so we really wanted a top quality and nutritionally complete food. He’s happy, healthy and growing quickly!! Open Farms is an easy choice and you’ll have a hard time finding a better quality food that you can trace every ingredient.

My 15 week old cocker spaniel eats anything & everything, he’s in that stubborn puppy phase. HOWEVER, this food makes him go crazy!! He absolutely loves the taste & the fact that I know the ingredients are clean & healthier than PPP (iykyk) makes this dog momma sooo happy. It’s so hard to know what feed on the market is best, but I’m so glad we made the switch. I want my fur babies to grow old with me & I know it all starts with a good diet!! If you’re in the fence about it, don’t be, your fur baby will thank you!!

I wish there was a different puppy recipe available - without chicken? We went through a miserable time of endless diarrhea until we finally figured out that our pup cannot eat chicken.She no longer needs to eat puppy food and has been eating a variety of Open Farm non-poultry kibbles (with healthy toppers) without any issues. (We did try the adultChicken & Turkey recipe once, just to see - and immediate tummy troubles again. Exchanged that bag for Beef & Salmon, and no issues.)It would be great if Open Farm offered a fish and beef or lamb puppy kibble.

Originally Pitbull Puppy was on Jinx Jr. The beet pulp and other cheap fillers was causing many stools and bad breath and wasn't holding weight. After switching to Open Farm he is now very healthy and has more energy. Coat is very shiney now too! As far as taste..well this pup is a "Land Shark" and will consume about anything that can go in his mouth. This is obviously a high quality product!
Our puppy loves this kibble, but has developed an allergy. He now has runny eyes and is scratching. We’re not sure if he is allergic to something in the food, or environmental. We do supplement the dry kibble with a few cups of water and wet raw food we get at the pet store and he gobbles it right up. Next time we’d like to try a puppy food without chicken, but you don’t have one that can see.
I was looking for a Human Grade Puppy Food to transition from the traditional kibble (garbage) but needed to still use a kibble for a few months knowing that we would eventually be feeding raw. After spending an enormous amount of time and money I came across Open Farms who was recommended by a Holistic Nutritionist. I couldn’t be happier. Seeing her thriving and her passion for being a puppy has been life changing for my Basset Hound Ellie. It truly has made a huge impact feeding her Open Farm’s.
I recently started feeding my puppy Taste of the Wild Puppy food, but the poop smell became unbearable, so I switched to Open Farm Puppy food. While the odor is less offensive compared to the previous food, my puppy refuses to eat it. He spits it out even if I mix it with his old food, leaving all the Open Farm pieces behind.I came across a few reviews mentioning that some dogs don't like it, but I bought it anyway because it's supposed to be a high-quality food. Unfortunately, it was a complete waste of money, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

My pup was on Royal Canin maxi puppy and Orijen large puppy. I also fed him some cooked chicken and salmon fillet sometimes. He?s totally fine with them. But he got little bumps all over him and cannot stop scratching himself after I added this product to his diet for the first time. We have to visit vet and get some anti allergy pills for him?
I've been very slowly switching from Just Food For Dogs to your dog food. I also add dried banana and apple pieces. Every other day in the morning, Piccolina gets a quail egg. She appears to like your puppy grain free kibble. The crunching slows her down from gorging her food. I especially like the fact that it's sourced from the best part of the animal and the size of the kibble is small.
