You can get good coverage with one layer done thickly. If that is your preference. Dry time isn’t to long, either. By the time you get through coat one, you may be ready to do coat two. It’s not matte or satin but not a super shiny color either. Just a pretty petal pink for spring.

I love the color. There is no doubt about it. It is the perfect spring/summer blue that works with so many skin tones. The unit is made well which I expect from OPI. I never worry the brush will fall apart or the bristles will get ridiculously hard or dry. The price point is expected for a name nail brand. Now the cons...the formula required 3 to 4 coats before it was fully coated and not streaky. I used this on top of the Infinite Shine base coat so it did go on smoothly. I don't know how it would apply without the base coat and just on a naked nail. After letting the color dry for what I felt was a long enough time (passed the touch test and then waited even longer), I went to apply a top coat. So overall, I would give it another go and I would try soaking and buffing the nail first to see how much of an overall effect it would have. Worst case, I know it's a color I would ask for at the salon.

Favorite Polish Ever!
17 May 2022

I am so shocked to see so many reviewers saying this doesn't work for them. I guess I'm very fortunate. I have NEVER found a polish or acrylic that works for me until this one. Polish usually chips within 24 hrs and acrylics lift within 7 days. I had a nail technician tell me it's because I have very oily nail beds. But the OPI Infinite Shine system has done wonders for my nails! I'm terribly impatient and usually have a hard time sitting still until polish dries. This dries so quickly it's never a problem. I can do my fingers and toes an hour before bed and wake up to shiny nails with no sheet marks at all. I can easily go a week on my fingers and 3 weeks on my toes without needing any touch ups at all. When I do have a little wear on the tips I just use a very fine grit buffing block and knock the shine off, put a new coat of polish on over the existing polish and top off with the top coat and it looks like I have a brand new manicure! I will also say this is the most forgiving top coat I've ever used. If I accidentally touch the polish and have a little smudge the top coat smoothes it right out. It also gives my nails strength. It's nothing for me to break a couple of nails a day when not wearing polish. With this I rarely break a nail. My favorite nail product of all time!

LOVED!!! MY NEW GO TO LASHES!!
4 May 2022

i LOVED these! they lasted about 3 days which is fine because from the reviews i thought they would have blown off from the high winds but they stayed on really well! when i took a shower they lifted a little bit but i just pressed them back on and they looked good as new! i did avoid rubbing my eyes with towels after showers and avoided getting my face wash on them since it's pretty strong because it's an acne wash. i will say when applying the seal, keep it at the base so you don't get the residue on the tips of the lashes. when i removed the lashes, i used a small amount of the remover, held it to my eye for about 20 seconds and used my bare finger to gently rub off the glue. i found when rubbing the cotton round with the remover, it did nothing and made the glue ... Morei LOVED these! they lasted about 3 days which is fine because from the reviews i thought they would have blown off from the high winds but they stayed on really well! when i took a shower they lifted a little bit but i just pressed them back on and they looked good as new! i did avoid rubbing my eyes with towels after showers and avoided getting my face wash on them since it's pretty strong because it's an acne wash. i will say when applying the seal, keep it at the base so you don't get the residue on the tips of the lashes. when i removed the lashes, i used a small amount of the remover, held it to my eye for about 20 seconds and used my bare finger to gently rub off the glue. i found when rubbing the cotton round with the remover, it did nothing and made the glue clump together. you also can use cotton swobs if you get the bond on your lower lashes or eyelids.

Love the concept BUT

I really wanted to like these but I have some issues with them. I have some experience with wearing falsies and applying individual lashes above the lashes line, so applying these underneath for me personally I thought was difficult. Although, others found it easier I think there's a little bit of a learning curve. Firstly, the bonding glue is incredibly tacky and can stick your lashes together. Like I would def not recommend applying it on the whole eye, I would do one section at a time from outer to inner corner and a really thin layer. Additionally be careful if you have long bottom lashes, literally any blink using this glue and suddenly your top and bottom lashes are glued together. Additionally be careful if you have long bottom lashes, literally any blink using this glue and suddenly your top and bottom lashes are glued together. I was not anticipating that when using it, and it kinda sucked and irritated my whole eye. Secondly the seal serum is pretty mid, like sure it'll separate your lashes that got glued together but it takes a lot of the serum. But be careful because if you use a lot of the seal serum it can leave a clear residue at the tips of the lashes that make them look real clumpy. Third, I did use the overnight sealer and I think it smells pretty chemically plus the brush is pretty thick for the small area it needs to be applied. After all the steps, the lashes stayed on all day and all night and the next day and even in the shower with no major irritation. However, the application process has a huge learning curve for me and was very irritating to my eyes. And to be real with you guys, the end product was nothing super amazing it might have been my application process but from far away they looked great but up close they were pretty immovable and clumpy with all the layers of sealer, bond, and a few swipes of the overnight. The removal process was another major irritation. You can't just pull these bad boys off like some falsies, because they a literally glued to the underneath of your lashes. You need the remover, which is like a thick consistency in a small tube. I got it in my eye and believe me it burns really bad, so be careful! The removal sucked, majorly irritating to the eyes and I felt like I lost some of my lashes. Overall I wouldn't recommend, maybe it was because I faced that learning curve with applying them under my lashes but even if you're good at that I still wouldn't get due to the bonding glue issues. If you decide to buy though, I hope it works for you because I really wanted to like this and hopefully my tips help lol.

Love the concept and great starting point
20 October 2021

I started with this about a year ago. I was super intrigued by a company the regularly advertises on Instagram, but let face it, I'm frugal. So, I kept looking at this as an option to try out the concept and see if I liked it more that strip lashes that were my daily go to. In summary, YES. I love this concept for daily wear way way better than strips. I'm going to be candid, I like this system and while I'm still occasionally tempted to drop coin on that other system, I have found ways that makes this system work remarkably well for me. I have learned to love the adhesive. But only after I learned how to really get them to stick and remove them. I "settled" for the challenge with removal for how easy application was and how amazing they look on. To apply I am not stingy with the adhesive, but I don't overdo it either. I get what looks like a light coat of a standard mascara. I then apply the lashes, which now takes seconds to do for each eye. I hit the lashes by squeezing them between the application tool and clean off the adhesive as needed with a cotton round with makeup remover. I used to struggled with the sealer, it was always heavy, left a white residue, and just didn't seem to work as well to really lock in the lash adhesion and I'd occasionally end up with a flyaway. Now, here is the "trick" for me with the sealer - I now coat the inside of the application tool with the sealer and the repeat going over compressing the lashes between the tool. I do that once or twice and voila, amazing adhesion. If I want, this will last a couple days and I haven't tried the new sealer from Kiss, so if I try that I might even get longer wear. But I typically remove nightly. Now the removal. First I carefully, and sometimes not so carefully, remove the lashes with my fingers. Usually a light tug and they come off. Next, I use a oil based cleanser (I love Derm E cleaning balm, but that's just me) and really focus on my lashes, and if I happen to get an especially solid adherence, use it to help remove the lash. But, taking time and letting the balm work it's magic I then follow with a good scrub down with a cloth with face cleaner. The thinner the better and that way I can also grab and gently massage the lashes and gently pull off remaining adhesive. Sometimes, the adhesive can be particularly stubborn, and I just let it be and repeat the removal process in the morning and by then it's easy to get any lingering adhesive off. This has worked well and I have not seen an adverse impact to my natural lashes. As for the actual lashes, I now use a variety of extensions from different manufacturers and I find that I get many many uses from a single trio of extensions with proper care. All in all this starter kit got me rolling and loving this manner of doing extensions/falsies. Super easy to use, reasonable to remove, and in my personal experience they are a whole lot more affordable than the other brand that caught my eye. While this system has some challenges, I have found ways that resolve those issues for me and after almost a year, I'm 100% a fan.

My new go-to. VERY impressed!
3 July 2022

I'll start by saying I've always been a skeptic of the under the lash technique. Always seemed like it would be uncomfortable and difficult to apply. But I swear the application feels fool proof and looks so natural, it looks like have lash extensions/ naturally long lashes and so much more comfortable than any strip lashes I've ever used. This kit is fantastic because it includes the remover, which is a MUST. The glue is otherwise really difficult to get off your lashes. I found several tips in the reviews before I applied them which made it super easy. Here are my tips! - brush on the bond on root to tip like you would mascara, but a little goes a long way. - do one eye at a time - try not to blink. look up when you do blink to avoid your lashes sticking together ... MoreI'll start by saying I've always been a skeptic of the under the lash technique. No need to get it all the way to the tips or it can make the lashes look milky Since it's under the lash, you don't even need to get the lash all the way to your tight line and it'll still look seamless!! Love these, 10/10

I love the OPI Infinite Shine polish line, however I am not a fan of this base coat. It seems to make the polish peel off (color doesn't adhere to the base coat). One time, by accident, I used the base coat as the top coat (over the color), and my nails didn't dry (even by the next day)! My nails were tacky and matte. I now use just the Infinite Shine 2 and Infinite Shine 3. I like both of these products, however I agree with othe reviews that the polish does get thick and harder to use over time. I've tried adding nail polish remover to thin it out. Although this works, it does take away the integrity of the polish. Stick with Infinite Shine 2 and Infinite Shine 3, and you should be ok. i tried this product about a year ago and though i wanted to love it, as someone who loves lash extensions but would rather save money, it wasn't working well for me and despite adhering to all the steps my lashes would often come off hours after application. i stopped using it for a while because i wasn't getting the results i wanted. recently, i saw the new packaging and the addition of the overnighter, and thought maybe the formula had changed for the better, and decided to give it another try. yet again, some of the lash clusters fell off almost immediately after application, and the others could be plucked off easily. i even used the overnighter. the clusters were also a little shorter and more natural than my personal preference, but thats subjective. overall, ... Morei tried this product about a year ago and though i wanted to love it, as someone who loves lash extensions but would rather save money, it wasn't working well for me and despite adhering to all the steps my lashes would often come off hours after application. i stopped using it for a while because i wasn't getting the results i wanted. recently, i saw the new packaging and the addition of the overnighter, and thought maybe the formula had changed for the better, and decided to give it another try. yet again, some of the lash clusters fell off almost immediately after application, and the others could be plucked off easily. i even used the overnighter. the clusters were also a little shorter and more natural than my personal preference, but thats subjective. overall, i have a lot more longevity with regular lash glue. i really like this concept, but it didnt work for me at this price point. i want it to work so bad, but it just isnt there for me. maybe i have irregularly slippery lashes? lol. i even cleaned them before use and dried them to ensure max adhering. idk!
