~ Greetings, this is my go to popcorn 🍿 and when it comes to salty snacks, I love to pop some home made popcorn, sometimes I make it with coconut 🥥 oil like in this image, sometimes with less subtle flavor and I make it with light olive 🫒 oil! Always, the kernels pop to perfection from my own experience! The popcorn pop beautifully, big and lushes, and they taste crispy, crunchy and airy with added pink salt 🧂 of choice! Yummy, airy, delicious and alternatively a healthy snack without artificial or added unnatural flavors! A+

I'm obsessed with this popcorn! As a popcorn enthusiast, I had to buy the 8 lb container of these kernels. With the large size, we can indulge without worrying about running out anytime soon. It's often a nightly treat for us, and I love that it's a great way to get fiber. The quality is excellent, and I appreciate the ease of being able to make this popcorn on my stovetop as well. I highly recommend this popcorn to anyone who loves a delicious, healthy snack.

I just purchased the 30 oz jar of popcorn kernels and I used it in my air popper. The product was extremely disappointing. The popcorn was stale and it cost 3x the amount of the store brand which is not real fresh, but it was much better than Orville. Wish this was a better review. I love popcorn and I've been using this brand of microwave popcorn for years, however the kernels truly disappointed.

This product was delivered to the address; however, how it was packaged was terrible. The popcorn container shattered and I can tell the package was thrown on the porch. The container was busted so bad to the point the popcorn spilled all over the front porch outside. Since this happened, the popcorn was not eatable and it was thrown out immediately. I tried to buy this in the store, but ordering it online was the only option. This was a waste of $14.
My dad has made home made popcorn since I was a kid. I learned how he did it on my own and recommend nothing else. Cover the pan surface with a thin coat of oil. Put the popcorn in just enough for every kennel to have a one kernel even layer. Don’t let them be two kernels high. Start with a little and shake to get them even. Move the top of the pan slightly off to let the steam escape -otherwise your popcorn will be soggy. Turn the setting on your stove to 7. Meanwhile-Melt 2 tablespoons of butter for 45 seconds. Listen to it pop, when it slows down to a pop every second or two, slide it off the heat. Don’t open the lid yet, it will continue to pop for a few seconds. Take the top off and pour half into a bowl. Put 1 tablespoon of butter on and mix it up. Put the ... MoreMy dad has made home made popcorn since I was a kid. I tried this out for the first time switching out from those old microwave bags due to my health relating to palm oil and I gave this a try. I put it on the cooktop following the instructions and half of the batch was unpopped kernals. At first, I thought this was just simply a bad batch but then I went to buy another one and got the same result. As for the overall feel of this product, it's nothing too eye-catching, it's just your regular old popcorn kernels that you get at the movie theater. I'm a tad bit disappointed at the unpopped kernels, it's like switching from microwave bag to stovetop did nothing. I may not buy this again, and I may advise people to do the same, but maybe in the future whenever this issue is corrected, I will try this again.
Orville might be spinning in his grave.I've been using this brand for years, it was the gold standard. I have an excellent electric popper and it used to pop the 8qt top off with 2/3 of a cup and a tsp and a half of oil. For the last 6 months I have to make 3 batches to fill the same bowl. Tried different stores, even different countries. They are all duds now. Will be returning the last 2 dud 8lb bottles and looking for another brand.
This was once my favorite go-to snack. But now, I don't enjoy so much. The kernels are stale, and MANY only half-pop or do not pop at all. They are hard and chewy, and this has been the case for my last 2 or 3 purchases. I'm a senior and I don't want any broken teeth, so I don't eat these like I once did. I prefer them over the microwave type because I can add as little salt and oil as I choose. A "sell by" date needs to be added. That way, one can choose to purchase the item beyond the sell by date, but hopefully at a reduced price.
Has never failed using oil & pot. We have followed the directions and use our 49 year old family popcorn pot. (had tried air poppers and popcorn makers but when back to tradition). 1/3 cup popcorn plus two table spoons of oil (prefer advacado but will use canola as they have high temp ratings ) - place three kernels in pot, when they have popped add the remainder. When the popping is underway let moisture escape (can use screen or let lid lift) so it is not tough. (too much oil -tough, too little oil or too cool may not pop, too hot may burn). We have had success.
I used to love this popcorn. However lately whether I use oil to cook it or use the hot air popper, the popcorn that does pop is hard and the rest of the kernals don't pop all.The last jar I got, half of the batches were excellent in the hot air popper but the other batches were bad. I got a new jar but the very first batch out of the new jar was hard and not very tasty. I am taking the jar back.OR used to be very reliable for being good however either something was changed in the processing or the quality of the corn went way down.
