With double the olive oil of their other bars, Dr Bronner’s pure Castile Baby Unscented soap lathers up extra smooth and soft to gently cleanse your (or your baby’s) body, face and hair without drying them out – even if you have extra-sensitive skin. Aside from their unique and well-loved labels, Dr Bronner’s soaps are known for being natural, even a bit old-fashioned. And it’s true that they contain no detergents or synthetic chemicals - but that’s not to say there’s no chemistry involved. Saponification, the process by which natural oils combine with an alkali to form water, glycerine and soap, is one of the first chemical reactions ever discovered. Simple enough, but the soapmaking secret’s in knowing which oils to use, in which proportions, and Dr Bronner’s have this ancient art down to a science. They blend coconut oil for lather, olive oil for softness, and hemp and jojoba oils for the way they mimic the natural oils of the skin and leave it smooth and supple. Unlike most manufacturers, they also keep the highly moisturising glycerine in the finished bar. It’s friendly to your skin and friendly to the planet - the only preservatives are sunflower seed vitamin E and tapioca-derived citric acid, so the soap is 100% biodegradable, and it’s sold in 100% post-consumer recycled packaging.

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Bronner’s! It’s awesome for everyone in the whole family (adults, kids and dogs). I also love how the soap is made with simple, nature friendly ingredients. I’ve been using this bar soap since 2009 and will continue to use it until the stop making it!! Love supporting old, family owned brands (I think they started in 1858).Beyond its versatility and gentle formulation, the lavender scent is simply delightful—it’s soothing and calming, making it perfect for a relaxing bath or shower. The quality and longevity of each bar are outstanding, providing excellent value for money. Plus, knowing that Dr. Bronner’s upholds ethical and sustainable practices makes me feel even better about using their products. This soap truly embodies the perfect blend ... I suffer from Mast Cell Disease(multiple chemical sensitivities) Until I developed this, I was using Nubian bar soap. Then the fragrance was bothering my condition. So I found Dr.Bronners bar soap. My body and sensitivities like this soap!! I always used Dr Bronners Castile liquid soap to clean up my cat with IBS. So now I’m using his “excellent” products. I also switched from using Toms Toothpaste(which has sodium laurate) to using Dr Bronners pepermint toothpaste. My teeth are getting whiter at 70!!!!“Thank You Dr Bronner!!!”…. For continually putting out products to keep us Healthy!!!(I hope you never sell your Company!!)Roxy

I have keratosis pilaris on my arms. I’ve been using a major brand’s sensitive skin body wash for years, never thinking that had anything to do with it. I recently switched to this Dr. Bonner’s soap in my effort to make small, healthy changes over time. It was not great for my face, but honestly I should have expected that. I have very sensitive skin on my face. But it has been fantastic for my body! It has cleared up my KP quite a bit already, and I’ve only been using it for two weeks. I’m shocked, because nothing has ever worked on it. The other thing I like about it is that it suds up really well. I thought I’d go through this bar soap way too fast, but it’s lasting a long time because it suds up so well. I scrub some onto a clean washcloth and it lasts much ... The smell isn’t overwhelming, which was my main concern. I don’t like lavender. But it’s bearable and I don’t smell it anymore once I get out of the shower.

I've been trying the same bar of soap for years; mainly because of my family. They would buy the bulk size version of Dove soap bar, so I was used to it. I recently decided to try something else when I noticed my skin is drying in certain places. I'm the type of guy to use skin lotion, but I feel like my bar of soap should be doing most of the work. When I bought Dr. Squatch, it was great! What wasn't great, was the price. Being a college student, I needed to be mindful of my spendings. Not only that, their bar of soaps tend to break easily after a certain number of showers. I needed something similar to that, but in a more stable shape so it wouldn't break so easily. I needed something similar to that, but in a more stable shape so it wouldn't break so easily. It was then that I found these bars of soap. They were half the price, but equally as great as the Dr. Squatch. Best part, I don't feel the itching pain of my wallet each time I buy 4-5. These soaps smell nice and keep my skin hydrated for the most part. Unfortunately, my family seems to think the same as well. They began stealing my bar of soaps, prompting me to buy even more.
I've been a fan of Dr. Bronner's for YEARS. I always used the liquid soap as my 1st body wash when entering the shower. That was until I tried the bar soap. It is the same amazing soap, yes however the way it suds up to utter perfection on an African net is something that has made this bar soap a staple in my home and shower routine. My husband works outside in a labor intensive job. He's won't shower without the peppermint bar soap. It not only cools him but refreshes him. I also think it's worth noting my husband has some of the most sensitive skin I've seen. He also has excema and this doesn't bother his skin whatsoever. Our daughter also always has Dr. Bronners in her shower.

I recently tried this soap, and I have to say, it’s a standout product. Among all the soaps from this brand, this one boasts the best fragrance by far. I was initially hesitant to purchase it due to the longer list of ingredients, many of which were unfamiliar to me. However, after comparing it to another soap from the same brand, I realized that these additional ingredients are what make this soap smell so exceptional. While I do have a preference for simpler soaps with fewer ingredients, the delightful scent of this soap won me over. It’s clear that the extra ingredients are there to enhance the fragrance, and it’s definitely worth it. I absolutely love this soap for its wonderful smell and will continue to enjoy it.
I don’t think I’ll ever buy a beauty blender sponge and brush solid cleanser. THIS works waaaaaay better and I’m kinda upset with myself that I just discovered this! I was looking for a product that actually works in cleaning my make up tools without breaking my bank and man, a lot of people recommended this. Low and behold I ran to my local Target and purchased this in the unscented variant (and the lavender scent too just because!) and used it to wash and deep clean my foundation brush and oh em gee… it got rid of all the gunk and and my brush just smells clean. I know it’s unscented but I could smell the clean brush hairs! I will definitely stock up on these babies and may try all the other scents!
Bars of soap have lost their scent. The bars of citrus always smelled great, would use them all the time, for every purpose. But lately, our orders have been arriving overly damp and the soaps without scents (aside from the peppermint). We went to several different local stores to purchase the orange, and still, damp and scentless, even from Walgreens, and some grocery stores. Something is happening with the soap's scents lately, with the rose, too, the cherry blossom, and the orange. Not certain about the rest (aside from the peppermint, which smells great!), since we only purchase specific scents. Not ordering again or purchasing this brand. Not worth it, since we purchase several bars at a time, and frequently.
love this bar soap. i bought 3 more. i use it on my entire body including face and hair and my face feels amazing and hair does too. it works better than anything ive ever used. it isnt stripping my skin or hair of its natural oils. i have very dry skin and this doesnt dry it out. it feels like my skin is more balanced. my face and body do not feel tight after washing with this as it normally did before with other products. i will definitely be buying again God willing for years to come. i have eczema and severe dry skin but this stuff is amazing and has been improving my skin texture
