I only recently (2 months ago) decided to try out Palmer’s cocoa butter products, after Nivea discontinued my favorite body lotion. I tried the Dry Skin Therapy and the Firming Butter. The Firming Butter is my favorite so far. The cocoa butter scent is milder than their regular lotion and the texture is somewhat thinner, but not too runny (I’m a little picky about body lotion texture and this is one of the few I like) After 2 months of almost daily applications my skin is feeling super soft, silky and hydrated, without any stickiness. It’s so hard to shop for a firming lotion as many of the lotions just don’t work. But with it works!! **Tip-consistency is key also followed by a healthy diet!! I used this lotion faithfully everyday for months and noticed not only my skin becoming a lot smoother (my legs look like I airbrushed them) but the cellulite I had disappeared. You have to make sure you really rub it in to the problem areas and not just lather the lotion on. The smell can be a little overwhelming for some people. It has a chocolate/cookie smell to it so a suggestion would be to put it on after your night time shower before bed. I’ve also noticed that this particular one is getting harder and harder to find in the stores. I always had luck finding it at Walgreens. Packaging: Basic packaging… not 100% aesthetic. Would I buy again?: Yes! I wish it came in a bigger bottle. What would I change: Size range availability.

Cannot believe this doesn’t get more love!

I love Palmers- great chocolatey scent and super hydrating. I’m from California originally where I’m used to having the full range available to me. Though I’m sure different ingredients work for different skin types, I prefer the Palmers moisturizers without coconut oil. I find they penetrate and hydrate deeper. As such, this one is one of my favorites! Cannot rate it highly enough. Gorgeous scent, gentle formulation, very nourishing. Love the ingredients in this one. Highly, highly recommend!!!

I bought this product about 2 months ago to help me get rid of some stubborn cellulite. Palmer's has a great reputation, and the price was great for me. I paired this with my cellulite massager, which said to use it with any cellulite (or firming) moisturizer/cream/serum, etc. However, after using 3 times a week for a little over 2 months now, I have seen minimal results, if any at all. I had hoped that this product, combined with the massager would help to stimulate the skin and reduce some of the dimpling. I have this product a 3-star review because the product itself as a skin moisturizer is great. However, as a firming product though, I would say it fell short, especially since it says the product contains elastin and Q10. Ok so I have to say that this is the best lotion ever but the only thing preventing me from sticking to it forever, is that it doesn't have sunscreen In It and I need it to protect my skin from the sun while it's doing it's amazing job of firming the skin and evening skin tone. This is because I want something that will prevent aging caused by sun exposure. Palmers firming butter is the perfect moisturizer but it will be even more perfect with added sunscreen pleeeease and thankyou. Thank you palmers for making a product that has collagen and elastin in it, please don't stop making this firming butter and let it continue from generation to generation. Please add sunscreen in it, please and thankyou

I’m in my early forties and i have started to be more picky about my skincare. Of course my face gets the most attention and i spend a lot on expensive serums, toners and creams, etc.. And recently i’ve purchased yeouth neck firming cream which is a little bit pricey for the amount (60 gm) but i find it amazing and really doing a great job although I wasn’t a big fan of neck creams before, i used to apply on my neck whatever cream i apply on my face and i regret this now cuz there are neck creams out there for a reason.What i wanna say is that i applied this firming butter on my neck and i was surprised that it gave me the same results like yeouth neck cream!!! Smells nasty.

Time to write an HONEST review. First off this smells like "butt". NO one mentions the odd smell anywhere so PLEASE heads up on that! Yeah, it sort of works by making your skin "appear" to have moisture BUT the smell is just nasty! It also wears off shortly after applying! I put this everywhere after my shower and within 2 hours my skin is dry again. I also don't see how or anywhere on my skin appearing to be "firmer". Yep, I'm old, post-menopause, but everyone here "claims" this made their skin so much firmer even after weight loss. Something is amiss here! I've been using this twice a day if not more, tolerating the butt smell and I see no "firmness" in my skin. Very good butter and hydrating effect!

I love this butter! It smells good, not too intense and is quickly absorbed. I don't see much of a difference between the butter and the lotion to be honest. But a great quality! I'm not sure about the firming effects, because it's hard to measure. I've been using it since 6 months now, following a belt lipectomy.The firming line (cocoa) from Palmer's differs a little bit from the rest of the rest of the cocoa line in terms of smell and color. Cocoa scent more light, color of the cream is white.
