My wifes hybrid bike came with pseudo road tires that are iffy when it comes to taking mildly sharp turns on concrete or asphalt. After reading many reviews, I settled on the 700x35c Gravelking SKs. Installation was relatively easy and painless. The GK SKs are fairly light and weigh 150 grams less than the original mounted tires. Even though the tires are tubeless-ready, I decided to mount them in a tubed configuration. Maximum air pressure in a tubed setup is 75psi, but I chose to inflate the tires to just 65psi, hoping this would be a benefit to ride comfort and improved traction. One item of note: After mounting the tires to the rims and inflating, the tires calipered at just over 37.5mm, which is 2.5mm wider than Panaracers stated specs, so be sure to check your ... With the new tires installed, my wife immediately felt a difference in the way her bike handled when cornering. She said the tires never slipped and quote it was like someone put sticky glue on the tires. I took the opportunity to ride her bike as well, and I was very impressed with the way the side treads grabbed at the road surface. Handling provided a real sense of confidence and rolling resistance was just as good as the tires that came with her bike. The more my wife rides on her new tires, the more she likes them. Now, shes actually looking forward to the time when we will start going out and doing some gravel/hard-pack riding at our local state parks. Panaracers Gravelking SKs are a quality tire at an affordable price. My wife and I highly recommend them!!

Overall a nice tyre. The jump from the 38mm to the 43mm is very noticeable in both width and height. They roll pretty well, the 38mm more so. I’ve not found them to be delicate and have been problem free, set up tubeless with stans sealant. They are a great general purpose tyre and not different enough from the new tyre to spend more.

Super happy with my Gravelking SK's, own two sets, 38's and 43's, have ridden these since April 2021 (2/2023 current) Have not had a single flat with either set. 43's are Big Bird Yellow Tubed and the 38's are purple fuscia tubeless. Raced them, Bike packed with them, single track, double track, rocky terrain (aka baby heads) gravel rough, smooth and some railroad ballast. Being in Oregon they have seen wet days to, thus mud. Bought another set in Jan for 2023 season. Depending on the rider, their skills, will result in varied opinions... For me, these are spot on, from slow rides to nuking corners, I'm happy

Bought these in 35mm to fit a single speed/tracklocross build which spends about 50/50 time on badly surfaced roads and narrow muddy byways, on a 12 mile commute each way.So far they fulfil duties really well, with everything but deep, gloopy mud being taken in their stride (challenging for all tyres) and provide a good balance between comfort and handling precision with no extreme drag or resistance to speak of.They seem fairly puncture resistant and running with tubes has been no dramas for my use.Recommend them for anyone. They look smart in the tanwalled colour too.
Love these, a little more grip than the SS version, with a full small knob profile. Still rolls pretty dang fast on pavement. Currently running on my single speed gravel bike in 38s and little noticeable difference in terms of rolling compared to the 35 ss I have on another bike. Both the SK and SS are quite durable as well. 2000kms or so on these and still going strong with little visible wear on the back. I probably get 6000km+ on the SS easy before the back one needs to be swapped out and I expect these will be similar. Probably riding 50/50 gravel and pavement. Performs well in the wet on pavement or gravel as well. Given the small profile it isn't going to do much in mud, but is much better than the SS if you are likely to encounter the looser and slippery-er ... I bought these tires to put on my 1999 Bianchi Alloro. I couldn't really find any other gravel tires in size 25 or 26 that would fit my bike due to narrow chain stays of older bikes.I have ridden them off road on gravel roads and sandy roads in grape orchards and they ride well with just the amount of traction where they don't wash out.Even on pavement they don't really have more rolling resistance than the Continental Gatorskins I had before.I have also noticed the tread is more shock absorbent on rougher roads compared to Gatorskins.I also ran a Me Tuffy tire liner and haven't had any flats in this Central California Goathead infested area.I can't comment on the tread wear yet, but hoping they are durable and last long time.If your looking for off road tire ... Needed some 32mm gravel tyres to fit in my TCR. Once fitted they were ace for a week of liggt gravel, as was the Giant TCR. Both far better than they have any right to be.They were a pig to fit tubeless though. The only tire I haven’t been able to seat first time. They weren’t going any where near.Ran them with tubes for a week, no problem.Once they had “lasted” with the tubes for a week, they went on tubeless first time. For the price they are great,They will be plenty quick enough for really dirty road riding come the depth of winter.
Bought to replace a Gravel King I damaged on very coarse mountain stone on my Vel gravel wheels. These tyres are a great solution for road and off-road. Grip is limited on soggy grass and mud because the nobbles are small, but they roll very well on tarmac and gravel trails. Great for filthy wet days on our local muddy lanes/roads. I run them tubeless and have been riding them for 2 years
Let me first say Panaracer tires are VASTLY underrated. Gravelking SK 43mm tires are about as good as you will ever get for mixed terrain performance that doesn't include mud. They are extremely sticky and the unique side knobs really are functional at speed. I have these on my Marin Headlands with Drive G45 carbon wheelset and and OMG, I love them. As a bonus, combined with the carbon deep profile G45's they make a novel sound similar to that of a Star Wars tie fighter at speeds over 15mph, lol. I will most definitely buy again when needed. While I don't really know for sure, these things are so soft and sticky, that I imagine they won't last as long as the usual gravel tire, but I really don't care. They are the cheapest tires I could find yet I am very much ... MoreLet me first say Panaracer tires are VASTLY underrated.
