Like most people. I bought this so can try a bunch of flavors without buying a full tub. However, it cost double per serving than buying a tub. PE should really consider making it more attractive for people to try other flavors and drive sales. I have tried all now other than vanilla. Its vanilla and vanilla doesnt get me excited to begin with anyways. I can say the only one I hated was the cheesecake one went straight in the garbage. The standouts for me and ones I will be buying full tubs of is the peanut butter cup and snickerdoodle. I had already bought full tubs of cookies and cream and chocolate truffe before the sample pack. I prefer the choc. peanut butter cup over the choc. truffle. The others were good but nothing "great" for me.

Tbh I love PeScience products. I haven't used anything since I found them. But I had higher hopes for this product. It is a great protein powder if all you are looking at is the nutritional value. Gives great energy and I just love it. The taste however is one of the worst. I think that the gritty texture seems to be a staple of vegan protein because I've experienced that before in other brands. (I mix with Califia coffee and Walden chocolate syrup to mask it a little.) Overall I wish that they could improve the taste but I like this product and I will try it again.

Love the peanut butter, and chocolate peanut butter flavors! Easily the best vegan protein I've tried. Mixes well with a milk frother and milk. Not too sweet, which is a big problem I have with most brands, and the texture is very smooth. Cinnamon delight has an okay flavor, but is much sweeter. My only small complaint is that they have sent free whey samples with each purchase. I love the pre-workout samples, and will probably buy a tub with my next protein purchase, but the whey samples would go to waste in my house if I didn't give them away (hence the purchase of vegan protein). It would be nice if they would send vegan samples with vegan protein orders to reduce potential waste, and get to try more flavours. :)Overall, my absolute favourite protein!

I have tried many of PEScience's protein powder flavors from both their vegan and whey lines. I have yet to experience a product that I disliked, and on the contrary have only had pleasant sentiments to express. In regards to vegan protein powders on the market, often is the case that they fall short of the qualities that whey protein powders serve. While PEScience Select Vegan series generally falls in line with this trend, they are distinguishable amongst the vast repertoire of plant protein powders as a star standout. PEScience is well known for their decadent flavors, mixability, and high quality blends; their vegan line being no different. PEScience is well known for their decadent flavors, mixability, and high quality blends; their vegan line being no different. Additionally, as I have generally maintained a preference for their whey blends, there are a few flavors that PEScience offers in their vegan blends that stand as strong independents. Among these are mint chocolate and peanut butter delight. Each flavor is distinctively sweet and lack both the gritty texture and earthy flavor that you find with scores of other vegan protein products on the market. Speaking of flavor, they remain true to their name and are truly delightful to consume. As with most protein powders, clumps are occasional but notably far and few between here.
I ordered the Chocolate Peanut Butter Flavor of the Vegan series of select proteins and am pleased with the product. I've tried many of the other flavors such as Peanut Butter Cookie, Cookies and Cream, and Cake Pop of their whey line and the Chocolate Bliss, Mint Chocolate, Vanilla, Cinnamon Delight, and now the Chocolate Peanut Butter flavors of the vegan line. I've used this particular flavor in oatmeal, in milk, and with water. The formula is moderately fine for a protein powder and mixes well considering it is vegan (although not as easily as the whey formulas do). Clumps do occur and often I will add more liquid than recommended which works great for me! The flavor of the Chocolate Peanut Butter is really good in my opinion. The chocolate and peanut butter is present and has moderate sweetness in comparison to the Peanut Butter Cookie and Mint Chocolate flavors (which I consider to be the sweetest vegan protein powder flavors by PEScience). The flavor also falls short in comparison to those two (in richness, accurate flavor, and well... being good haha). With that being said, overall this flavor of vegan protein powder is good, but it wouldn't be my first choice in the vegan line up (I prefer the sweeter ones) and especially in the whey categories.
I ordered the variety pack because I wanted to sample all the available flavors without buying giant containers and wasting them if I didn't like it.I absolutely LOVE the Snickerdoodle flavor. Great in yogurt, coffee, smoothies, oatmeal, etc. My favorite way to use it is to mix with yogurt and add apples with a sprinkle of Ceylon Cinnamon. So good!I wasn't a fan of the Strawberry Cheesecake and the Peanut Butter Cup flavors. I was only able to tolerate it when mixed with coffee, but that was my preference. It didn't seem to sit right flavor-wise in anything else I put it in even with additions. The Cookies & Cream is okay. I could live without it.I have yet to try the Peanut Butter Cookie, the Cake Pop, or the Chocolate Truffle, but I'm really glad that I ... MoreI ordered the variety pack because I wanted to sample all the available flavors without buying giant containers and wasting them if I didn't like it.I absolutely LOVE the Snickerdoodle flavor. Peanut Butter Delight is quite certainly delightful; a product that remains true to name as a surprising feat for protein powders, and a vegan one in fact. I consider myself a self proclaimed connoisseur of PEScience proteins, having tried many flavors amongst both whey and vegan lines. As is fairly consistent with PEScience, a vegan product: peanut butter delight, ranks in close range with some of my favorite flavors overall. This is due to it's taste, mix-ability, macros, texture, and versatility. This has a considerably sweet flavor profile that is evidently akin to what it's name suggests, is very mixable in cold water with minimal clumping, the texture is minimally grainy, it's macros speak for themselves, and can be used in various forms with sparse ... MorePeanut Butter Delight is quite certainly delightful; a product that remains true to name as a surprising feat for protein powders, and a vegan one in fact. I highly recommend this product if you are considering incorporating a protein powder into your pantry.
This is my first vegan protein, so that's why I'm giving it 4/5 stars. If I try any others I will update my review accordingly. I had to make the switch to a vegan protein because my doctor and I suspect that I've developed a lactose sensitivity. I'm in my late 20s and have been working out regularly for the last few years. Before this, I had used ON Gold Standard, Isopure, BSN...all whey or whey isolate proteins, and I was used to a sweet-ish protein with a smooth texture. As some other reviews have mentioned, there is a grittiness to expect with a vegan protein, but I was more concerned with taste. I usually prefer a chocolate-based protein, so I naturally went for the chocolate variety of this and was pleasantly surprised. I usually prefer a chocolate-based protein, so I naturally went for the chocolate variety of this and was pleasantly surprised. It has a rich chocolate taste, not chalky in my opinion, and fairly easy to put down. The grittiness doesn't bother me, but if it did, I would probably add some frozen fruit and make a smoothie with it. One downside, if you would even consider this a downside, is that the powder is very fine. I'm guessing this is to make it easier to mix in a shaker, but it will get on your hands, clothes, etc if you're not careful. I usually have to wipe my hands after I mix a shake. The recommended amount of liquid is also 10-12 fl oz per scoop compared to 6-8 in some whey-based protein--not a big deal, but you do have to drink a little bit more per shake. Overall, I'm very pleased with this as an alternative to whey protein and it has made the transition easy to lactose-free products. If you've been looking for a way to remove whey and lactose from your diet without sacrificing protein, this is a good start.
The taste and texture of the vanilla and chocolate are fine, not wonderful. But on the digestive front, for me, it's great. It's the first protein powder I've used that doesn't have me horribly gassy all day (this and rx bars). I work in an office setting so that's a no go, not to mention the discomfort. I do belch a few times after drinking it in the morning but that dissipates quickly. I like that it only has a few ingredients, simplicity is good. So for all the pros, I'll live with the taste. Good product. 1/20/2019 flavor review ranking: Cinnamon: best flavor of the available options, seems thicker too Chocolate: it works, not gross, it's fine Vanilla: will buy if on sale or others are out of stock, funny taste Berry: good idea, just doesn't work. The dehydrated berry chunks float. If drinking before pieces rehydrate, gas and stomach issues, fun! Peanut butter: umm, I'm out, not trying this one. This will continue to be my go to protein, good product.
