My two-month old daughter gets a bottle of breast milk about once or twice per week, when my husband takes an overnight feeding or if her grandma is watching her while I run an errand. This bottle does its job, but the anti-colic feature wasn't great.I liked that this bottle was easy to clean and easy to assemble. Most anti-colic bottles have so many parts, this one was great that it only had three (the bottle, a piece that goes inside, and the nipple). The design of the bottle itself was great. The nipple size was just right for my daughter. I find a lot of bottle nipples (and pacifiers) are too long for her and cause her to gag. The inside piece of the bottle lets the nipple fill with milk without tipping the bottle IF you hold if the right way. The box did not come with directions and I figured out after a few feedings that there was a picture on the top of the inside piece to the bottle that explained how to use the feature. Also when you get down to the last of the bottle, you really have to tip it upside down the get the last out.The nipple leaks on the bottle, so when I would pull it out of my daughter's mouth, it would leak on her chin/cheek.I did not notice any difference in my daughter spitting up more or less than a regular bottle. I think in the future I would just pull the anti-colic inside piece out and use it as a regular bottle. Thanks to weeSpring Parent Panel for supplying these items!

I received this bottle as a gift from the weeSpring Parent Panel. And this is BY FAR the best bottle I have ever tried! I have been using an "airflow" style bottle, but the Philips Avent is now my favorite....here's why:I formula feed, so I LOVE the wider opening that allows me to mix the powder without spilling it all over the rim (my old bottles had smaller openings and were always a mess). My son took the nipple IMMEDIATELY with no fuss or issues. (also something that wasn't consistent with out last bottle)Feeding went very smoothly and he slept incredibly well after words (which I can't give the bottle full credit for, but there was enough evidence there already for me to love it).Needless to say, I went out and purchased a set of the 11 oz. 3 pk of ... I currently have a 15 month old that still drinks exclusively out of bottles. She also drinks toddler formula, which this bottle is great for. The opening on the standard mouth bottles is too small and I often spill formula on the counter when trying to fill them. The Avent anti colic bottle has a wide mouth, making formula prep easy and mess free. I can't yet attest to whether it reduces gas, but will have a newborn next week and will be able to update my review in the future. One con I noticed is on the nipple bottom, there are grooves in the rubber that can easily be missed when washing. I didn't notice until there was gross buildup, and it has to be removed with something small like the tip of a nipple brush.Overall I'm really happy, we use this bottle a ... I got a chance to try these bottles as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. My daughter is two months old and I used these bottles for about two weeks to try them out instead of the bottles we had been using. My daughter is formula fed so we got quite a bit of use out of these! My first impression was that we might not ever go back to the other brand we were using. First, the pros: these bottles are extremely light weight in comparison to other brands. They are so easy to clean and don't come with a bunch of pieces to clean which saved us a ton of time. They are shaped so that they are better to grip as well. The cons: as with all wide bottles, when you get down to the last ounce, you have to tip the bottle almost completely up to get all the formula or milk into the ... They are shaped so that they are better to grip as well. The cons: as with all wide bottles, when you get down to the last ounce, you have to tip the bottle almost completely up to get all the formula or milk into the nipple. But the good thing is they still don't swallow a bunch of air by the way the bottle is designed. It's just more convenient in my opinion to not have to tip the bottle or readjust to get the nipple full. The only other thing I noticed was that my daughter didn't get as good of a latch on the nipple but I think that's because she is used to the nipple shape on the other brand. Overall, I would definitely recommend these bottles to anyone who wants a lightweight, easy to clean bottle without having to worry about air ingestion.
I received a free box of these in exchange for an honest and fair review, however I had already purchased these months ago. I like the Philips Avent Classic bottle for a few reasons. The barrel style is easy for my six month old to grip and feed himself. The larger nipple mimics the breast which was important to me and I believe makes my son more comfortable. These bottles are super easy to clean, I have Tommee Tippee, Dr.Browns and these, I always use these first just because of the cleaning aspect. You have to make sure to have the right sized nipple to achieve the best feeding. I've had luck using one below so right now we are using medium flow although most might use fast flow. We've had no issues with gas. I honestly have nothing bad to say about these bottles. ... I have tried many many bottles. My baby is exclusively breast fed, but according to my lactation consultants advice, I started introducing a bottle at 4 weeks. (This is so baby doesn't get so used to the breast that they won't take a bottle). The reasons I love this bottle compared to others: It has very few parts, so it's easy to clean and easy to keep track of amongst all of my other washing (pump parts, pacifiers, etc). It is compact, so it's easy to put in a small cooler in your diaper bag. Lastly, it is easy to put together. When you pull the nipple through the twist cap, it goes in on the first try. Unlike other similar bottles I've tried. This is great at preventing leaks. The reasons my baby doesn't love this bottle: It's not mom :DI received these ... MoreI have tried many many bottles. We have a 5 month old who is primarily breastfed. We had a really difficult time finding bottles that he is willing to take. From suggestions from our pediatrician and other moms, we tried "natural" style nipples and with a lot of fighting and coaxing he would eventually take it. Because he is mainly breastfed, I never really tried out any other nipple types. I was very hesitant when we received this bottle because the nipple shape was much different then any bottle he has ever tried. To my surprise he took to this bottle with no issues at all! With the Airflex venting system we have had no gas, fussiness, or spit-up with this bottle. I love that there are very few parts, which makes cleaning easy. I received this bottle as a gift from the weeSpring Parent Panel. THANK YOU!We have a 4wk old who primarily breastfeeds, and on both breast and bottle she drinks so fast that she chokes (more with bottles). We have tried different bottles and nipples to reduce this, gassiness and milk coming out of her nose. My husband noticed this new bottle immediately and our daughter took to it like a charm. She could control the flow better and as far as gassiness, I am not sure, but I think she burped quicker and on her own, so that did help. My husband was sold on how the bottle worked with her.I also think all babies are different which makes the bottle business very difficult. Bottles our son used and liked aren't working with our new daughter...go figure.
My son has been feeding on the natural Avent glass bottles since newborn and has been so fussy, sometimes doesn’t finish his bottles. 11 weeks later I decided to change his bottle and Ever since I changed to the anti colic Avent bottle he drank it soooo well! 🙌🏾
I have a newborn and got this from weeSpring Parent Panel to try. I was hoping they would reduce gas and spitting but I didn't really see any difference with them after using them for a few days. There's 1 extra stuff to wash too because of the anti-colic piece. I didn't like how I needed to dig my nail into it to get it off the bottle. I was also surprised the cap/top/nipple pieces are not compatible with the regular Avent bottles which my baby was trying too. These nipples also caused formula to leak around her mouth. It may be because she is used to different brand. The bottle cap is easier to open compared to the regular Avent bottles and It is lightweight. the wide neck and bottle do make it easy to clean.
