The initial spray is VERY strong of Citrus, but after it sits on your skin clothes it has an intoxicating smell. I will for sure purchase this fragrance when I have the money. I heard read reviews on it before I received it wasn't sure about it, but when I sprayed it I loved it!! The only downside is that the scent does not last very long after spraying. You would have to refresh periodically to remain the smell.

I figured the Polo Earth would be a full-sized bottle and the Polo Blue a "mini" version, or even both "minis". After my box arrived at the wrong post office, and had to be forwarded by USPS to my correct post office, I finally received my box today. This is what I received. Immediately upon opening the box I was smacked in the face by the overwhelming smell. Not only was it a sample-sized "Macy's-style" vial, but it had apparently leaked all over the box during it's (extended) travels to get to me. As for how it actually smells: It's listed as having notes of melon de cavaillon, lush accord, lush watery melon, fresh sliced cucumber, tangerine, clary sage absolute, geranium, basil verbena, washed suede, velvety moss, amber wood, patchouli, coeur, and sheer musk. It's extremely overpowering and that's just from the quarter that I was able to smell! I also cannot smell the distinct notes they claim are in this product. What I DO smell is a whole bunch of patchouli (WAY too much; it's actually making me feel sick), a tiny bit of the basil verbena, and oddly enough, if the wind is blowing (I had my fan on), you can pick end notes of the musk. I wanted so badly to love this box! Unfortunately I didn't receive what I thought I was going to and what I DID receive was super disappointing.

Polo Blue Parfum is a very synthetic scent, but in a good way. It’s a safe blue freshie that anyone can rock. Although it smells slightly similar to EDP, the performance is definitely better and Parfum smells much more sexier. This is a scent to wear during warm or hot weather. Maybe to the beach. After testing it out at my local Sephora, it left a nice aquatic, woody dry down. It’s quite pleasant. This makes a great first for anyone. Blind buy worthy for sure.

A Classic Gets Some Change: Polo Blue Parfum

Polo Blue EDT was a tried and true old school fresh cologne. My apologies for not remembering its year of release, but it’s probably as old as my can of WD40 is. Ralph Lauren was famous as the designer house behind the blue, black, and red. These EDTs still sell fairly well, but they are dated. The blue was always the one I went with, because it worked well for casual or business use. A T shirt or a suit, it was versatile. As you see a word in the past tense. No longer do I consider the originals to be a viable option. New designers and niche companies have made them irrelevant. Lavender here is extremely well done. I love this boost and they went with a higher quality fragrance. Also the woody aromatic notes do scream out more. It’s definitely a modernized version. Amber and earthy, my best guess is a laid back vetiver, round this one off well. I love the scent profile. Kudos for the upgrade, but I hope the house will reformulate this one.If this was strengthened, it would be four or five stars. The opening and dry down are solid. Very masculine yet refined, and I do like that lavender infusion. Unfortunately it only lasts for a few hours. That’s the disappointment there. A good parfum is supposed to last 8 to 12. This comes nowhere close to that. In cold weather this won’t project. I’d recommend this for spring and summer wear, with the caveat that you’ll need to re-apply unfortunately. A nice upgrade but come on Polo, let’s get some extra bounce from this extremely sweet smelling cologne.

Did I like how this smelled on me? Not exactly. There was something off between this fragrance and my skin’s chemistry with the dry down - smelling borderline sour and overwhelmingly peppery. The scent got better over time as it dissipated, and I got to appreciate some of the more muted notes such as jasmine and lavender. Still, I would consider this a very “sharp” fragrance that should probably be sprayed only once in most situations.

Disappointing perfume

Salty Oceanic/ozonic smell, which I personally don’t like. It was my life’s second blind purchase. First was Bentley Silverlake, which has same See weed smell and I didn’t like. Normal nose can’t pick other notes. Fragrance wise they both are same also ADG essenza as well. Performance of the both two are bad. Weaker fragrances and never gonna buy them ever. The one who like such kind of fragrances can buy but forget about sillage, projection and longevity.

Girls LOVE the smell of Polo Blue perfume for men!

I tried a sample at the store once and suddenly found myself surrounded by lady's! At first I thought it was mear coincidence but hen a girl complemented me on the way I smelled! With that said I IMMEDIATLY purchased my first bottle back in 2016! Since then I've used it on and off because, it not the easiest cologne to find in stores from time to time! I started using it again on a regular bases and with the same results! I like the way it complements my chemistry and apparently the lady's still do too!The first time I bought it I paid $260. for 4.2 floz. Then I started getting it for about $65-70 . THE PRICE HERE IS FANTASTIC and SO IS THE SERVICE!- A true testimonial from a satisfied buyer!
