I am coming from a 3-year-old 5220, and here are the differences I note:1) The photo is WRONG. The mic is on the RIGHT not the left, which for me is frustrating since I prefer it on the left. I am currently wearing it "backwards" (so the earpiece labeled "R" is on my left ear) but it should be shown correctly.2) The cord from the headset to the mic control is shorter than the 5220 which is a bummer3) The mute/unmute button takes about 1/4 to 1/2 second to take effect, unlike the 5220 which is instantaneous. This diminishes the value.For new features, the noise-canceling is pretty good and helpful. People note that my voice sounds clearer with less background noise.

This headset has worked great for virtual meetings on Zoom, Teams, and others. It fits very comfortably, so you can wear it for long periods without any sore ears or headaches. The ear pieces and headband both have good padding. The ear pieces sit properly and they don't block out all outside noise so you're not completely isolated from the office.Sound quality is great, they're perfect for online meetings. Works very well when you want to listen to music or a video as well. The microphone quality is very good according to the people on the other end of my calls.The included case is a nice extra touch to keep things from getting damaged or dirty in my desk drawers.

Noise cancellation is very good. Very comfortable for all day use. Sound is professional quality. Best headset period! Mute controls work quick! Love it! Well worth the money. No issues with Windows 11. you can set the noise cancelation to high or low. the pads on your ear or nice and soft even after all day. the cord is long . the added a nice touch with headset talking to you when you mute or un mute i think these are worth the price and will be using them going forward google meets, teams and zoom meetings. i hope they come out with a wireless option like this one or they had one with wireless option

Very comfortable fit. I've actually relaxed the top head spring to suit my fit slightly better. Sound quality is very good. You can hear all the nuances of your music. Microphone quality is one of the main reasons I chose this headset. I've never had better vocal quality from a headset mic. There are three settings for noise cancellation - Off, Mid and High. Mid is useful and gets rid of any air conditioning and other background hum. I haven't used the Hi setting much although I imagine it would be pretty effective in cancelling engine noise on a plane flight.
