Secondly, there is nothing worse than a man (or woman) who douses themselves in fragrance. It's so inconsiderate, especially if you are going to be in an office or an enclosed space like an airplane. So a scent that makes you happy when you first apply it, then quietly disappears into a whisper is much better for those forced to be around you. I'd much rather that people wear light fragrance than heavy, cloying scents. If you desperately need it to last longer, try spraying your hair instead.

By far, this is my son's favorite fragrance. It is long-lasting on him. It is not overly strong with a spritz or two. I have copied this from the RL website: Top notes: lemon, bergamot, and juniper. Middle notes: red saffron, clary sage, and lavender. Base notes: cedarwood, vetiver, and vanilla. This combination gives a crisp beginning, smooth middle, and mellow end. He receives many compliments when he wears this fragrance. The 4.2 is less than $100.00 which is a great price considering the size. Bonus, it is a refillable bottle. Highly recommend.

A very versatile fresh offering from Ralph Lauren fragrances. Citrusy opening lends itself to high heat settings. As the fragrance develops the warm amber and wood notes shine through. Given the EDT concentration it performs as expected, 3-4 hours at best on my skin. Weak to moderate projection with it becoming a skin scent towards the final hours of the performance window stated above.

Polo red edt by Ralph Lauren is a great affordable cologne for the modern man. I can see men of any age enjoying this fragrance. It’s slightly sweet and spicy but surprisingly still fresh. I love the orange or fruity note at top and then the more warm woodsy coffee note at the end. I’ve heard from others say this doesn’t last long but I found it to last way longer then expected it lasted around 5 to 7 hours which is good for an eau de toilette concentration. I can see this being a great gift to a friend or a loved one.

A text which could hardly be more 80s, even if wore a polymer Aitch jumper, and had a mullet and drank Quatro while puzzling a Rubik cube in the back of an Austin Metro with Thriller on the radio etc. Bottle - see above Thmell - it's not unlikeable, this. Bit 80s but not in a bad way. Bit mass market. Geezer factor - not high. Too vaguely aspirational with not an ounce of anti-establishment exuberance (or patchouli). Mod factor - low. Not Authentic

I received the cologne a few days ago, but just opened it today. I was excited that my order was upgraded to the 4.2 oz bottle because they were out of stock on the 2.5 oz bottle.I use this cologne regularly and this is NOT the normal scent. It fades away immediately. It is either old or not authentic. I wanted to reach out the supplier before asking for a refund and retuning the item to Walmart, but I kept getting an unable to send message.

Second One Fake

Bought this item twice. The first time it was the real thing from Walmart, but the second one was a fake from somebody in Michigan. The first one was in a Walmart box and delivered through UPS , the last one was in a plastic envelope delivered by the US Postal Service. The knock-off’s cap didn’t fit and it doesn’t smell anything like the real one. Even the sprayer and bottle are slightly different. Save your money and shop somewhere else.

Shipped incorrect and incomplete-unable to return!

The cologne and bear bottle itself are fine. What is upsetting is the lack of communication. I ordered engraving to be placed in the CENTER of the bottles (I ordered this and the Blue limited edition bear). The engraving was placed at the BOTTOM of the bottles. Further, I was to receive a "free gift" of a Polo Earth tote. No bag arrived. Upon contacting Loreal, who manufactures and sells this cologne, they said the engraving couldn't be done on the center of the bottle, and they "ran out" of the totes (though, a few weeks later, they are offering the totes once again in honor of earth day). None of the discrepancies were reported before the order shipped, sticking me with "nonreturnable items" due to the engraving (which was in the wrong place).
