I live in Florida and let me tell you, you don’t know frizz until you have been to Florida during the summer. Honestly there’s not much I can do to make my hair look good in the summer months because it gets out of control but since I’ve started using the frizz serum, I’ve seen a huge improvement. I have far less frizz and i can even straighten my hair and have it look decent. Overall this product is a game changer and highly recommend especially if you live in Florida.

Redken’s Frizz Dismiss Instant Deflate is an important part of my hair care regiment. No more frizz disasters, my hair is soft and smooth. I’m in my 50’s and I have wavy Porous aging hair. I often air dry my hair and if I don’t use Redkens Frizz Dismiss Instant Deflate Spray on my hair, my hair will definitely become a frizz disaster. I’ve given this product to my friends, who have the same issues with frizz, and they were incredibly pleased grateful.

I have verrry thick, dark blonde hair. I have such a hard time with static and frizz, and find a lot of products make my hair look greasy or stringy and don’t help much. This product works awesome, doesn’t weigh down my hair, and as a bonus it smells sooooo subtle but amazing. I was sceptical about the price but you really don’t need much, so a little goes a long way. I use it almost daily and it has lasted me a very long time.

This is one of my favorite hair products ever. The smell alone is so good, I can’t get enough of it. The product itself works great! My hair changed texture after my pregnancies and went from straight to frizz-wavy. I’m not happy with my hair without adding Frizz Dismiss, it tames the frizz and makes my hair super soft!

I love Redken products and this anti-frizz serum is by far the best product in their entire line. My hair is naturally wavy and so, so thick. My hair frizzes up every. Single. Day. I hated it so my beautician recommended this product and it’s been my go-to ever since. The bottle lasts forever as you only need a small amount. Definitely worth the money

I love this serum! I have really curly that can be frizzy and unruly, even when straightened so I was happy to try this product. I used it after straighten in my hair and it worked wonders. No frizz, no flly aways and it left my hair feeling soft and smooth. I appreciate that the packaging doesn’t dispense too much serum at once.

Amazing for frizz and dried ends!

I have naturally thick, straight, and dark hair which has been bleached/balayaged many shades lighter to caramel-blonde. My hair stylist had me switch over to Redken products because my cheap drugstore products were drying out my hair. Besides the Redken Shampoo/conditioner she also recommended this "Rebel Tame" since my hair is thick and definitely thirsty for hydration from all of the processing that it has gone through. I have used 1 bottle over the course of 6 months (run some through my hair everytime I wash my hair every 2 days). I defintely have noticed how much healthier my hair is, definitely is not brittle and I have very little split ends for all the torture I have put my hair through. It works, but you need TONS!!!

I've seen many reviews saying that the product doesn't work, and I thought that too at first. I had been using the old "Amplify" by Curls Rock for a similar effect, and you don't need very much of it. When I first tried Frizz Dismiss, I used a similar amount of a palmful as to what I had been using of Curls Rock, and it did very little. I have a lot of thick, curly hair and it was a frizzy mess. Then I thought I'd try to slather it on to see what happened, and it worked! The only issue though is that you have to use TONS for it to work properly. I literally filled up my palm to the brim, put it on, filled up my palm AGAIN, used that, and then I added a touch more. My hair was more product than me and it was goopy. Maybe it's because you have to use soooo much of it.So bottom line is, if you've tried it and didn't use that much and felt it didn't work, try it again, but use double or triple what you'd normally use. I mean, REALLY slather it in there! It's that reason (plus the long drying time) that I didn't give it 5 stars. It is VERY effective, but you have to use so much of it that it makes an already expensive product crazy pricey. So if you wash your hair often and use it every time, it will really add up. Other than that, I'm definitely making it part of my routine.

Not your holy grail

Anyway, I had not seen this product before, and it looked convincing to me. It's a HUGE bottle, so you really get your money's worth, amount-wise. However, it does not contain frizz for me. Maybe, just maybe, it helps a bit. I could walk home in fairly dry air with no wind, and my hair kept it's style. Without this, it would probably have frizzed a bit, but hair to say it this was due to the cream or just by luck/not humid enough. There's this awful chemical, sort of woodsy spice and chemical smell to it, with a strong punch of old-lady perfume. And my hair usually doesn't hold on to fragrances. The smell alone makes me wary to use it. If your looking for that "finally, here it is"-product, this is probably not it. It's just like any other subpar leave in cream for frizzy hair. I don't know why we, in 2016, still don't have anything to control humidity-hating hair.

Tamed at last

After radiotherapy, I went from health curly hair to frizzy hair and hated it. My hair was out of control, dull and uncontrollable. I tried just about every product I could find in the shops and supermarket, with one of two outcomes, either my hair became oily and greasy or the product had no effect at all. Frizz Dismiss Rebel Tame Control Cream is the answer. A small amount on towel dried hair brushed through plaited back and left to dry and I was surprised in the nicest possible way by the outcome. I didn't look like a hairy monster in the morning. On wet or foggy days it needs a little help with the Smooth Force Lotion Spray but between the two I now have soft manageable hair. My only regret is that I took so long to find the right solution.
