As with most of the CPAP products, they are incredibly pricy for what you are getting. I'm sure a lot of R&D and quality control goes into these, but I'm also sure the markup is very healthy. Putting that aside, this has been the best nasal mask I have used in their range. Getting the correct size is essential, as I and others have reported increased nasal dryness if the fit is incorrect. It stays on better than the P10, and the material lasts much longer. Still, it tends to need adjusting during the night. I can only see a way to improve this if you add more straps, which most people want less. After about 6 Months, the plastic will start to go yellow. This seems to align with the time they say you should replace them—so budget for 2 of these a year. Its too big for my head, but the "for Her" size is too small. I must have an odd shaped head. The Med pillows are too big for my nose, but I don't get enough air through the smalls so I make do. I like this so much more than the face masks or the nose masks. Those fit better, but leave me feeling smothered or sweating. Even with bad allergies and the windows open in the spring, I'm still sleeping great with this. Would recommend to everyone with "normal" noggins.

What I love about this mask is the hose attaches at the top of the mask which makes it much easier since I drape my hose from behind and over the top of my headboard. You don't have the mask pulling away as you move your covers like when the hose attaches at the bottom. I love that I don't get indentations on the side of my face with the soft fabric and plastic frame. I finally tried to use the nasal pillows that come with the mask for several weeks. Normally, I buy the ResMed AirFit P30 nasal pillow which is easier for me to breathe. Even though the Large size of that fits me best, the SW nasal pillow that comes with the mask fits me better to allow my nostrils to fit over the curved area. Normally, I buy the ResMed AirFit P30 nasal pillow which is easier for me to breathe. Even though the Large size of that fits me best, the SW nasal pillow that comes with the mask fits me better to allow my nostrils to fit over the curved area. If you position your nose just right, it is fine, but sometimes the soft plastic seems to collapse and restrict air flow and makes it hard to breathe, so I prefer the ResMed AirFit P30 nasal pillow which helps me to sleep uninterrupted and so I don't wake up feel like I am suffocating because pillow has moved. The only thing I wish to change about the mask (besides the nasal pillow) is that the soft fabric for the cheeks is not removable. It bothers me when I wash it with soap and water that the water needs to dry in that area which is in the dark, so I worry about mold. I have not seen any though and I have used the mask for about over a year, changing them every 6 months. The Sleep8 CPAP cleaner eliminates the worry about mold problem, but I do let my mask air out for several days to reduce the ozone smell in it or may wash it with soap and water to remove the smell. Since the mask has been sanitized at that point, I worry less about mold growing in the dark area behind the fabric.
I was excited at first, then after having to wait over a week I was over it. then finally received the head gear and nose pillows and it was the worst night sleep ever. I tried a second night and now almost 100.00 after discount sits in a drawer.. waste of money. I gave two stars only because others claim they are comfortable and work well. I have had the old nasal pillows for years. thought it was time to join the modern times. guess I was wrong.
I started therapy with a nasal mask because I didn't know any better. I found it to be fairly bulky, uncomfortable and cumbersome with the hose attaching at the nose. Plus I was having trouble finding a good balance of temp and humidity settings. I was either getting dry, irritated sinuses or getting a fair amount of condensation in the intermediate tube and nasal mask. The P30i is less bulky, more comfortable, and I really like having the tube attach at the top of my head. There's no intermediate tube; the main tube attaches directly to the top of the mask, which is nice. Finally, the auto temp and humidity settings seem to strike a good balance with this mask unlike the nasal mask.
I had the perfect mask in the Swift LT, I got switched to the p30i which eliminated the "pivot" to the pillows which I really liked, they moved the exhaust to the top which fires into my headboard and is really loud! Sometimes if I'm too close to my headboard, it blocks the exhaust and I also get lots of "backfire" on my exhale. I prefer the exhaust on the front as it's more natural. I always slept great with the Swift LT, now I'm back to feeling sleepy after just a few hours of waking up and feel like my BP is going back up as well. I NEED THE SWIFT LT! If you have any, I'll stock up on them!
I started with the ResMed AirFit F30i Full Face CPAP Mask and hated every second I had to wear it.It was hell trying to get a seal on the mask, which blow into my eyes and made them dry and irritated.I had to put medical white tape under my nose and along the sides of my nostrils to prevent chapping.I tried using all three mask sizes and the wide worked the best but the hard plastic on the mask still dug into my cheeks.I had fought all night with the F30i and I never felt rested and was always tired during the day.ResMed Airfit P30i Nasal Pillows Mask has been the best for me. It is very comfortable and the nasal pillows are soft and flexible providing a leak free seal. I have had a little irrtation in one of my nostrils but I been using vasaline at night and it has help.I have been sleeping four plus hours a night and feel rested during the day. It took some training for me to keep from breathing through my mouth when using the nasal pillows( I now make sure that I'm only breathing through my nose during the day).Well that is all I can say, others may like the F30i better, I just found the P30i works for me.
I have struggled for years with CPAP headgear. It's either too tight, too loose, leaks, makes noise, blows air in my face, whatever. Kept up all night adjusting a mask. It completely defeated the purpose of helping me sleep better. I absolutely hated wearing it. Until this one. The hose connection being on top of the head is a genius idea, for one thing. I'm a side sleeper and this is perfect for anyone (side or back), plus it keeps the air exhaust out of your face. The nose pillows are comfortable and do not leak. There's no eye or face blockage with this mask either. I would highly recommend this mask.
Let me just say this. The. Best. Ever! Like I’m wearing nothing. By the rating on my machine, I’ve had better nights with this style mask. I’m in love. Comes with three sizes so u can pick which one is best fit. I thought I had big nostrils, but I’m actually a small. Weird! But so in love. I sleep on my side, stomach and this is what is best for me. The others fill face or nasal mask would always leak air, the pillows are where it’s at!
