I ordered this mountain bike ie."Sport Trail Bike Rockrider ST 100 RR 27.5in 21sp - Yellow". It was delivered right to my doorstep about 4 days later (delivery charge $20). I considered myself small in built and I am about 1.67m. The chart says between (165 - 174cm) I should get the size "M". Luckily, I didn't follow. I ordered size "S" and it was just nice for me!!! The wheel is the same 27.5in as advertised. The bike also came together with the front and rear reflector and a bell. I ordered only 2 accessories ie. the front basket and the central adjustable kickstand. They are NOT free. I was worried that all these if they come in a box (including the bike), how am I to know how to assemble or install them? Luckily (phew) it came all fixed and ready! When I checked it, I notice there was no tools (ellen keys). When I rotate the paddles, the kickstand gets in the way. I had to use my own tools and re-adjust the kickstand more inward towards the wheel so that it won't obstruct the paddle. Moreover, when I tested the brakes, the back ones gave a squeaky sound. The next day, I tried riding and changing gears (7 sprokets behind and 3 at the crank ie. center.....it was very tight and stiff to turn and switch gear located at the left and right handle bar. Also the pointer didn't point correctly the gear positions. Of course, if you complain, the seller will say.......oh you can send your bike to their workshop and they will attend it without charge. How? the bike is too big to put in the car and the workshop is far away! Yes.....these are the good things and the not so good things. All these for the bike price of $184.90 ...... so "swallow' it . Divide the price by 365 days (1 yr), this bike costs you about 50 cents a day.....not even enough to buy a cup of coffee. So grab it, yes I recommend this product.

I bought this bike thinking that it will be peace of mind buying from decathlon but oh I was wrong. Both front and back brakes gave squeaky sounds. I got it checked at decathlon store right away after taking the delivery and the service guy said that this could be because of new brakes, but he adjusted the brakes anyway. The sound was gone but reappeared after 2-3 mins. Then it started to increase day by day so much that it started to give me headaches. Well, scheduled a brakes check and bam on the scheduled day before I took to the store, the cycle stopped making the sounds. Took it to store anyway but they didn't find anything wrong and adjusted the rear brake. Now, front brake has again making sounds, the sound is again increasing by the day. Maybe I am one of those guys who get a bad deal even from the reputed stores.

We bought this cycle from Shamshabad decathlon and till date could not ride it. It lost the air as soon as we reached the home. We refilled it but it again went next day. Gears are not working properly. The brand new cycle was simply not tested before handover to the customer. It completely negligence from the store person. Also decathlon do not have any system where the cycle can be repaired at home. We need to bring it to the store to get it repaired which is not convenient at this moment. Please make sure new cycle when getting sold should be properly tested before delivery to customers.

I just collected my ST 100 today. The bike's performance is generally ok thus far, but it is an extreme torture riding the bike because the saddle is of extremely inferior quality. One doesn't need to cycle more than 1km to feel the ache and pain the saddle is causing to the rider's butt/bone. During my test ride of the bike this evening, I swopped bikes with a riding companion and his response was , he was already experiencing pain from this saddle after merely a few hundred metres of riding. I well understand this is a stock saddle but at least provide one that is considerably decent, not one where it is causing so much discomfort from merely a short distance of riding of less than a km. Quite disappointed with this painful experience.
1--I bought this in Jalandhar Decathlon store for my father, in the very first go tyre got puncture with a tiny thron on a 2nd day, that thron height was 1mm max, still these MTB which is meant for riding in rough roads can't handle the 1mm thorn on road. Very disappointing performance of these tyres, later I take this bike to the store to fix the problem, after convincing so much store gave me new tube thanks for that, But tyre got puncture with the same kind of thron on the road side near BMC chowk while returning from Decathlon Store.Later my father stop riding because of all these frequent puncture issues..THere is no availability of the tyre liners in the store, I agree that it was due to pandemic it was not available. Bike is parked in my garage safely ... More1--I bought this in Jalandhar Decathlon store for my father, in the very first go tyre got puncture with a tiny thron on a 2nd day, that thron height was 1mm max, still these MTB which is meant for riding in rough roads can't handle the 1mm thorn on road. Bike is parked in my garage safely without running from last couple of months due to puncture issue..I had requested for the replacement of the tyres but i got -ive response from the store. Tyres seems very old and kind of aged due to which it might be not functional as expected on rough roads.2-- Bad seat post holding, while riding my father got a bad jerk as seat totally hit the base. and I had checked the seat post before sending him to the ride, it was tight and sturdy. FYI my father weight is not more than 75 - 80KgsI am also a cyclist and I have been riding from last 7- 8 years, so as per me this bike is not suitable for older people due to inconsistency, If you can still fix the issue i can delete this bad review if possible, but i am very disappointed because I convince my father to start riding at the age of 70 yrs...and i did not get so warm welcome at Jalandhar Decathlon like I do get here in Pune... They really care for the customers and they never doubt or ask so many questions to an elder person if they are standing on their door with a complaint.
Great bicycle with great components. The 21 speeds all work perfectly well as you can align any one of the 3 front derailers with the back 7. I had never seen that before. It makes for a very pleasant and noiseless experience as your chain runs perfectly aligned without side scrapping. The brakes are not disc brakes, but they work well.Your position is quite confortable. Not straight up or in a full prone position. It has plenty of light reflectors for a safer ride at night. For the price I can not imagine a better bike.
-> Screws and nuts are getting Rusted in just 2 months-> Cycle getting Punctured even if we apply slightly higher air pressure. If you cross 40, a puncture is inevitable-> Front mud guard is loose and not fixed properly-> Gear shift is not so smooth as expected-> Seat is slipping down gradually. I need to fix it again and again-> Noisy breaks. This is irritating. The decathlon dealer said it would go off in 2 days. It's been 2 months. Thankfully one break is doing good but the other break is still noisy-> Over all I feel this is slightly overpriced with all these issues. One would expect a premium cycle at this price point.
Great entry level mtb for $98. Easy to assemble , light, shifts fine , has front quick release!, double walled wheels were slightly untrue, no big deal. No suspension adjustment. Doesn't feel / look cheese though. After some break adjustments it was ready to go. Not for rough terrain , more like for rolling easy dirt trails. Has good knobby tires. Bought one size up and I'm glad I did. I'm 5'8" 190lbs went for the 5'9"-6'. For the price it is great but wouldn't pay much more. Not a fan of the color but it was part of the deal I guess. Get one if it is still available.
Firstly it has an aluminium frame which is light in weight. the brakes are the best , you cannot get this type of braking in any cycle under 20k. There is no sound from the hub tik-tik sound which I like, the quality of this cycle is top notch. It catches a very good speed without more effort. The handling over the corners is Excellent, even if you hit the front brake hard and make it to skid, then also you will not fall!. The tyres are very sticky and also so smooth. Hence, this is the best cycle under 20k.
I have a high end TREK bike costs at least x8 the price of this one. Surprisingly, this Btwin bike rides and shifts as smooth as the TREK bike and also as fast. It has a single Shimano rear deraileur for going up a hill. All other equipment are not Shimano but as smooth as Shimano. I am not sure about the durability, but the aluminum frame looks solid. V brakes where properly adjusted. Shifters are smooth and don't make any noise. The seat quality is fine but not comfortable which is expected.
