These shoes are really growing on me. The cushioning is awesome and they're extremely stable. First looking at them, you would think they'd feel slightly wobbly since the platform is so high. However, I never feel wobbly (like I'm going to roll an ankle in these) since the platform is flat all across the bottom. I ordered a Women's US size 10 because that's the size I usually get. They fit and my toes don't feel squished, but I feel like the heel cup is a little too short and I probably would be happier in a 10.5 with the arch a little further forward. I'm kind of disappointed I didn't figure this out before I started wearing them outside. I think these could be really good in the right size so check your sizing before you commit because they're not cheap. The color ... MoreThese shoes are really growing on me. I have the blue and orange ones--it's like a slate blue which is kind of pretty.

I am so glad the Hurricane is back, Ive ben wearing SAUCONY for two decades and really loved this model. The quality is not quite as I remember it from previous models. After barely a week wearing my new shoes, both of the aglets on one of my shoes (the plastic tips at the end of shoelaces that guide them thought the shoes’ eyehole) fell off. If I wish to lace that shoe now I have to use something pointy to guide the lace through the shoe. I’ve worn running shoes over my entire life and have never had this happen. I am disappointed, and wish the shoes had come with an extra set of laces. The cushioning and stability are good. I wish to get a second pair, as I always get two pairs for both indoor and outside training, but the shoelace situation is giving me pause - ... I'm new to the Hurricane so 24 is my first go. I've been a loyal Guide, Tempus and Speed wearer for a long time. The Tempus changed my life - LOVE that shoe. The Guide 17, meh. The Speed I only use for short workouts and 5k races since I need stability. I wanted something extra soft and cushiony for recovery runs and long runs while training for my 6th Marathon. The stability is good - the geometry of the shoe works for that, though I don't feel much arch support. My ONE issue with this shoe is that the tongue is not gusseted and slides over no matter how secure I think I've set it before the run. For the Hurricane '25' and beyond - PLEASE update the tongue and make it gusseted. It almost seems standard on most running shoes now.

I gave it only 2 stars because of the lack of support for over-pronators. The Hurricane is supposed to be a support shoe, but my ankle rolled in almost immediately after putting it on. When I walked around in it, the midsole felt way too soft. There is hardy no difference (in terms of firmness) between the 2 foams in the midsole. The bottom foam was supposed to be firmer to create a sense of stability but, it is not. It's soft with almost NO energy return either. The Triumph 22 is a better option. It's firmer and offers way more energy return. The only thing it needs is a wider waist with a little extra firmness in the medial side.
I am very happy to see the Women’s Hurricane sneaker return! This will be my 6th pair! I have bunionsand wide feet and this sneaker is incredibly comfortable for people with these issues! I walk 3-5 miles per day, and never experience any pain! They are so comfortable! Great support all day long!I would have given theses sneakers five stars, butas another customer mentioned, the laces fray, and the plastic ends fall off! Replacement laces are not available. I also had an issue with the heel piece folding into the shoe and I could not fix it. I tried reaching out to customer but did not get a responseThat being said, they are still the most comfortable sneaker that I have ever worn, and I will continue to buy them!
I bought these shoes a month ago and I absolutely love them! I have worn Saucony shoes for many years, primarily the Guide, but also tried the Tempus last year. I was a little reluctant to try the Hurricane again after years of not running in it because the last time I ran in a hurricane (2012), it was too cushiony, and did not have any bounce to propel me forward. I felt like I was running in sand the whole time. But the salesperson at the running store told me that they had made some changes and even combined some of the technology from the Tempus. When I tried them on in store, and took a little test run, I immediately felt the cushioning and the bounce/response to propel me forward. Since that time I have had many runs in these shoes. My feet feel great during and after the run, which was not always the case with the tempus. While being a heavier shoe in general, they do not feel heavy and I am able to run my normal pace. Great Job Saucony! Thank you for bringing this one back!
This shoe was recommended to me by my podiatrist for a long-planned trip to Italy - tons of stairs and cobblestones everywhere! I was dealing with heel spurs, bilateral non-insertional and insertional Achilles tendonitis and 2 bad knees. One knee was an old injury and the other knee had a 4-month-old torn meniscus that did not respond to a cortisone shot, so I was in a lot of pain in different places and honestly thought it might be better to cancel the trip.I purchased these the day before I left; they saved the day. I wore them the ENTIRE time, day and night. The stability and cushioning is in all the right places for my foot. We walked several miles per day on cobblestones, did lots of stairs, sightseeing in museums, and going out to dinner in the evening, I had other shoes with me and I tried wearing them to breakfast but every time, I'd go back to the room to change into these. The cushioning is amazing and they somehow put everything into stable alignment, so I was able to continue when I thought I'd have to cut the trip short. I wouldn't advise anyone to tackle such a trip with all the injuries I have right now, but it all happened so close to the departure that I had to try or lose a lot of money. It's not an exaggeration to say, I'd have had to sit in the hotel the entire time without these shoes.I'm buying another pair. I'll have to deface them to cover the logo so I can wear them to work without getting the "boot". I work for a direct competitor and they sadly have no comparable shoe.
The Hurricane is absolutely the most plush, luxurious running shoe I have ever worn. Every feature is incredibly comfortable and soft. I typically run in the Guide or equivalent and decided to give this a shot and am so glad I did. I don’t feel any stiff support features, but have not noticed any discomfort from lack of stability. This has become my go to easy run shoe since it makes sore feet and muscles feel so much better. I still stick with something a little lower profile and more responsive for faster runs and something with thicker rubber for any trails, but this is a great compliment and what I use 50% of the time. I run ~60 mpw, male, SZ 12, 155 lbs, 6’2”. Fits true to size - wide toe box.
I am so glad the Hurricane is back in Saucony's line up! I have been running in Hurricanes since 2005 and truly missed them while they were away (though my feet found solace in the Tempus during those bleak days for the overpronator community ;-). I have run about 60 miles thus far in my Hurricane 24s and I can now say that I love them. They are the cushiest shoe I've ever worn; I can really feel the extra bounce in the return. I can imagine how this amount of foam and bounce could be off-putting for some runners. But I am a flatfooted overpronator who just reached middle age so they are essential for me. One comment about the shape of the foam base in case it is relevant to you: The Tempus base kind of jutted out causing me to literally trip over my own feet a ... I have neuropathy in my feet as well as low arches, and the wrong shoes make my feet and my lower back ache. My podiatrist said that I needed to get properly fitted for exercise shoes that offered stability as well as comfort. When I went to a local running store one of the shoes they suggested was the Hurricane 24 (the other was the Guide 17). When I tried on the Hurricane 24 it was instant comfort! I felt like I was walking on a cloud. I feel like I can walk for miles in these shoes without getting a backache or sore feet after 15 minutes. I use these for walking (running is difficult for me due to multiple knee surgeries). I never thought that this kind of comfort was possible. I like them so much I will probably end up buying a second pair!
