I used this product as a backdrop for Christmas mini sessions... I wanted a neutral color that didn't blend too well with skin tones, as I find it's easier to edit with and results in a more pleasing photo in the end. I really loved this paper and it's a great color. I would say, though, that it's a little more "blue-grey" than pure grey... which is more what I was looking for. Pleased none-the-less, though!

Just as expected. Provides nice, crisp background when lit and the paper is very durable.

Used it to chroma green out windows for a commercial and it worked perfectly. It doesn't easily wrinkle and is thick enough that two layers cut out all of the light. Fantastic price for this product. One of the only places in New York City with this product and at a good price.

This has done exactly what I need. Prior to this I was using fabric for the green screen with hours of editing. This has made the chromo key drastically quicker in the editing process. Great for the price
This backdrop worked great for me! I used it to photograph portraits of women of color and it highlighted everyone’s shade.
I ordered the Ruby seamless background and it is great! Color is spot on, and quality is great! I had a question about another product, and customer service was great too! They helped put together my whole order, and answered every question I had! Definitely worth purchasing!
The paper has great weight to it. It’s reallt sturdy and holds up to my clients jumping around on it as I like to incorporate motion in my photo sessions. Great buy for the price.
I am very happy with this product. It looks great and is sturdy. It is an excellent backdrop for a green background or to use as a green screen. And, for the price, it is exceptional. (I purchased the stand to hold the paper rolls from B&H Photo several years ago.)
Regarding Savage green screen background paper: I use this paper mostly for the floor. Fabric would be ideal, but after people stepping on it several times you will eventually have to wash it. With paper backrounds you can just roll out a new section. Fabrics cost $ to $ plus washing. Paper will cost you $ and will last 10 years or more with proper care. I recommend using packing tape on the backside to prevent tearing though. Greenscreen effects are all about lighting, not the color. This is just as good as any other in my opinion. No regrets.
The idea behind using the Savage #46 Sage/Techgreen paper background was to 1) provide the ability to quickly change out the background using wall-mounted triple-hooks, 2) reduce cost, 3) reduce setup time, and 4) eliminate the need/worry of having to iron a cloth background. This product, in conjunction with a few other items (see Accessories I Recommend), did just that. The product shipped superbly packaged. Nice, heavy duty paper. Popped in the varidrives on both ends and mounted to wall-mounted triple-hooks. Easy. The Manfrotto paper counterweight (attached to end of roll) is essential to smooth raising/lowering of background. The only concern that I have is that only after two (2) weeks, there is some sagging (about 1/8 of an inch) in the center of the ... MoreThe idea behind using the Savage #46 Sage/Techgreen paper background was to 1) provide the ability to quickly change out the background using wall-mounted triple-hooks, 2) reduce cost, 3) reduce setup time, and 4) eliminate the need/worry of having to iron a cloth background. The Manfrotto paper counterweight (attached to end of roll) is essential to smooth raising/lowering of background. The only concern that I have is that only after two (2) weeks, there is some sagging (about 1/8 of an inch) in the center of the cardboard core. You see a wobbling when raising/lowering the BG. This neither affect performance nor introduces creases in the paper at this point; just makes you want to roll the paper a little more slowly. NOTES: You'll need at least 2x the length of the roll of room to remove the BG from the shipping tube. I simply slit the tape (about 8 pieces) that keeps the roll from unraveling; it provides a good visual indicator of when to stop rolling up the paper.
