Counterfeit Cartridges?

For years Schick Hydro cartridges would last me a good 10 shaves before becoming uncomfortable. The lubricating gel pockets would be full when brand new, and would gradually empty out only a little bit with each shave. In the past year or so, the cartridges I would buy on Amazon and at a supermarket were different (worse). The gel pockets would be only about half full out of the box, and the cartridges would last me only about 4 or 5 shaves before becoming uncomfortable. I presume these were counterfeit. So a few weeks ago I ordered cartridges directly from Schick.com - and paid a premium price - to make sure I received the genuine Schick product, but saw and felt no difference whatsoever. Gives irritation, cuts and nicks. Not same Schick

I have same Sensitive blades/razor bought few years ago and it never gave me any irritation nor nicks/cuts vs Gillette which was sharper, but always gave me irritation and cuts. But, this new Schick razor handle now mostly plastic vs original which was mostly metal. And blades... worse I ever used! I used it several times and had nicks and severe irritation. I tried my other Schick I bought few years ago same Sensitive - smooth, nice shave. Don't buy it. Try something else.

Used To Be The Best
12 September 2023

These used to be one of the best razors. Now, the razors themselves are indented below the top and bottom pieces, so you can not get a close shave unless you push down and repeatedly try to go over the same spot. The razors should not be indented down below the top and bottom pieces, it's like essentially using clippers with a guard on them - people are using razors for a close shave, not a trim. Maybe I got a defective batch? Idk, but the price of razors is pretty ridiculous to begin with, they should be manufactured to work properly.

[Rewarded Review] Good value
7 March 2024

I shave my face about every other day. I was using cheap disposable razors before and I would have to use a new one each time I shaved. I like these razors being 5 blades, it helps cause less irritation. I also think these razors keep their sharpness for a few shaves. The refill pack is a great value and has 6 refill cartridges in a small package.

[Rewarded Review] Great Value Pack Razors
21 March 2024

Great razor for sensitive skin. Gave a nice clean shave without any issues when added this to the razor. My face felt smooth the amount of bakes it had to cut it all at once. Didn’t feel or have skin irritation. Awesome deal which comes with 6 extra cartridges. Good value. Get one!

[Rewarded Review] Great razor and more refills, THANK YOU!
6 March 2024

Always happy to get any male grooming products to try because I am bald on top and hairy everywhere else! Naturally, I have a huge beard I tend to daily and try to keep its shape every other day. While I only have certain areas around my face that I razor shave, always great to have a good razor and Schick is always the best! Great smooth shave and easy to snap in and out refills. Glad to have tried this and thank you Schick for the great shaves! And you can’t go wrong with a refill pack that has 6 over the typical 4!

9 March 2024

Fantastic value when you compare to other brands. You get six refills in a single clean container. Very easy to pop old one off handle and replace with a new one. The kicker here is how you shave hard to reach places (ie under your nose). You just pop the hydro section of the razor back and it allows you to get into all the nooks and crannies, no more few hairs left under your nose! I prefer this option to the one blade other companies have because it prevents nicks. Recommended!

[Rewarded Review] Revolutionary razor for Sensitive skin
12 March 2024

Firstly thank you Schick for letting me try this for my honest opinion.I'm one of those guys who usually shave once a week and regret each moment as there are bumps and nicks and cuts with each pass and end up wiping lot of blood. But this razor was probably made someone like me only.Throughout the shaving process, I didn't even feel any irritation or a cut. The gel pods are just too amazing and enjoyed my shaving experience in a long time. The skin protector on each blade is just revolutionary.A must have razor for sensitive skin people.

The sensitive skin feature ensures a smooth and irritation-free shave every time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and affordable shaving solution!
