I have this shade freeze in the pink. I don’t find it does anything particularly helpful for the colour in my hair. It still fades as normal. What I do like is that this leave in conditioner is a spray. Usually I want a spray conditioner when my hair is getting a bit dry and I want to make sure it dries soft and supple. Or when I want to have it dry without flyaways and it’s been staticky. Or when it has been heavy from buildup over a few weeks of lazy washing, and I have done a thourough wash and I just want to make sure it’s been nourished. Or when I want to do some tight braids so need a bit of moisture for a sleep in crimp... oh so that’s a lot of reason! And this is light and easy for all these things. When used on hair coloured with Schwarzkopf colour and fibreplex, this maintains the health of my hair. I haven’t used after colouring with other brands but I imagine it would still work well. It smells good and keeps my hair free of split ends. My hair isn’t as soft as it feels after using 2 other brands but those are the only 2 that would get my hair feeling softer. However this maintains colour and ends better so I’m ok with that.

A bad experience

At first it was great, it made my hair so soft that I didn't even need to use conditioner. The shampoo alone was enough. After a while, I started getting bored because I couldn't wrap my hair, not even with a straightener! I stopped using it. And here my hair began to deteriorate severely, I realized late - unfortunately - that the secret of this extreme smoothness is "keratin" a lot of keratin!As soon as I stopped using it, my hair dried out and started falling out! I do not recommend it.

Making my blonde hair healthy again

I recently purchased this product and cannot fault it.Even with bleach blonde hair this product has brought life and softness back to it.The smell of the product is amazing.It doesn’t leave a thick product residue either like other conditioning products I’ve used in the past.

New composition no longer fits

For a few years I use this product. Unfortunately, the composition has now been adjusted. Since then, my hair is no longer light and seems greasy. Too bad the manufacturer has changed the formula. I will no longer buy the product.

Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure pH 4.5 Color Freeze Conditioner 1000ml

First of all this bottle is HUGE. I really didnt know what to expect but as Ive dyed my hair a fair amount and it is naturally quite course and dry I figured Id give it a shot. After ONE USE of this plus the shampoo my hair was noticeably different and softer. It wasnt frizzy or strawlike even after blowdrying. I even dyed it again the next day and the hair still feels soft and healthy and fade on the colour is minimal. Im really impressed. The only criticism I have is that the bottles are a bit awkward as they have screw caps with spouted tops and as they are quite large, it is a handful to manage the bottle a pump or flip cap would have been ideal. Overall, worth the investment.

Schwarzkopf Professional BC Bonacure Keratin Smooth Perfect Micellar Shampoo 250ml

I used this about 15 years ago and it worked, but was loyal to Matrix Smooth shampoo and Aveda Black Malva shampoo. However since Matrix changed the formula some years ago and Aveda discontinued Black Malva I've been lost. This also seems like they changed formula also (wish they would stop doing that!) I've tried Kerastase, Philip Kingsley, Redkin and nothing worked for my hair. I've very fine European, coloured, it's straight but frizzy with lots of flyaways. This shampoo helped, still had a bit of frizz but much less. It cleans the scalp well, my hair looked and felt clean the next day, which is rare. No itchiness either. It doesn't weigh hair down. I'm going to repurchase, as I haven't found anything as good as this. The service from just my look was great.

Schwarzkopf Professional BC Bonacure Peptide Repair Rescue Conditioner 1000ml

I didn’t have high expectations once this arrived as it contains both silicones and Sulfates. Sulfates arent a big no no for me so it wasn’t too bad. However I am cautious of silicones as I hate build up on my hair. Upon doing some research I discovered that this contains amodimethicone which is different and puts positive ions into the hair so cannot build up as positive and positive repel eachother. My hair feels amazing for the first time in ages. ( I have been bleaching my hair for years and spontaneously began box dyeing it black and I’m now trying to go back blonde). It doesn’t feel heavy or weigh down the hair, doesn’t leave a film and my hair feels more moisturised and healthy than it has in months.

Shampoo ok conditioner should be discontinued

I am extremely disappointed with the conditioner. When you put it in your hair it feels like nothing and unworkable yet it instantly weighs your hair down. It’s left my hair feeling dry and dirty. Even using less than a 50cm piece makes my hair look dirty once I dry it off. If you want a conditioner that you can work in and leaves your hair light and fresh this is not it.
