Tried it, and for now - it's my "go to" for max comfort, lowest weight.I normally keep the Aeros Ultralight Pillow contained (not moving) by using my rain parka zipped up, installed over the pillow and the end of my XLite sleeping pad (a hack I learned from Bigfoot a couple hears back).

So far so good! We’ve tried blow up pillows in the past and they always seem to get holes or deflate but decided to try again as the clothes bag wasn’t cutting it. Hopefully the double valve should go a long way in keeping it from leaking because it’s not cheap. I don’t mind paying for good gear and am hopeful that this falls in that category. I will say, having a real pillow that can easily inflate or deflate to the desired firmness makes a difference in a good nights rest. My husband and I both have a system for keeping it from sliding off the pad which is also helpful. I add it to my clothes bag (inside out is fleece) and he has a silk liner on his pad that he can put under the flap. We tried it out backpacking last week and are very satisfied.

We own three of these for travel purposes; one for me, one for my husband, and one in case something goes wrong so we'll have a backup! It takes up NO space in my suitcase and is fantastic for European hotels which typically provide only one pillow, and often a flat one at that. I am also allergic to down so if the hotel only has down pillows I can use this one. My husband snores if he doesn't have at least two pillows so this item is an essential when the hotel will only let us have one per person! (European hotels are like that). I truly don't have anything bad to say about this pillow. The weight and pack size are awesome. It inflates quickly and is easy to make minor pressure adjustments. The comfort and performance in colder climates leaves a bit to be desired, but is understandable being an ultralight pillow. For its intended purpose, it's phenomenal. After 5 years, the internal structure finally let go. It still holds air perfect, always has. Just a bit more like a balloon now. For the amount of use/abuse it received, I have no regrets buying it.

I use this pillow 1) as lumbar support in cars, trains, planes, etc. You can inflate it to just the right size for comfort. 2) As a book or device rest on my lap or plane table while I'm reading 3) As a headrest while reading in bed 4) As a back rest while meditating in a chair (I'm lazy: it supports me when my back muscles get sore from sitting up straight. I bought this pillow 2 weeks ago in Germany for my camping trip. I took care of it as much as possible plus stored it as it came, rolled in the case it came with. It worked well until few night ago when it just kept deflating over night. Upon further inspection, there was no damage or puncture of any kind, but when dunked in water, it appears the material became porous, and keeps loosing air through large portion of surface, you could see large amount of bubbles appearing everywhere. I paid 40 euros for this and I cannot use it any more, nor this is something that can be fixed since the material failed overall and there was no specific puncture. I have sent the warranty request and I expect the company like Sea to Summit will do something about this.
Light (81g on my scale), large enough for a side sleeper and for some reason I don't experience the "bouncing head" sensation with this pillow that I've had with at least 4 other inflatable pillows. I don't use a Sea/Summit pad, so I can't comment on the Lok "felt" system that supposed to keep this pillow in place on compatible pads, but it's captivated and fits pretty well (not perfect) in my REI Magma 15 men's sleeping bag hood - at least sufficient to sleep through the night. My head never got hold on the last 2 weekends' 25 and 30deg nights, (but then again it's inside the down hood and I'm using an Big Agnes AXL insulated pad so I'm sure that's part of it's success). Using the pillow on my ‘21 PCT Thru and many other thousands of miles I’ve come to the following conclusion :The pillow simply isn’t durable enough but because ounces make pounds I continue to use it.I’ve tried sleeping on dirty clothes, food bag and even unused clothing/weather gear.
