Great rod but not as good as its predecessor. I have 6 of the original Finesse Bream 762 rods & use them on trout & whiting. Shame Shimano lost the full length cork handle & the hook eye. Obvious cost cutting but I would prefer to pay the little bit extra.Can't fault my dealings with Freddys. First rate. We'll done again!

I bought this rod for a trip up to NT chasing Big Barra and for the price this rod is amazing. It held up amazingly on a 90cm barra with maximum drag on my reel. Recommend pairing this up with a Shimano SLX for a budget-friendly barramundi combo.

This rod broke an inch from the tip on the second day, no load on it, just winding it up with lure on it getting ready to go fishing, it had been treated properly just broke. put a new tip on it as we were away and needed it to fish, 2 days later broke again 2inches down while winding in a 40cm barra. Never had a rod break like this in 40 years of fishing.

Great barra rod, 5ft 9" perfect size. Caught heaps of fish, good precision and generally sturdy rod during fishing but at 13 months old rod tipped snapped off whilst in transport in rod holder. 1 month out of warranty. I will be getting another one to replace.
I bought this rod about a month ago and i think i hooked on to massive what the locals call a yellowtail meysoun found here in Perth. It snapped before i even got the chance to tighten my drag.
Not the most expensive rods, quite reasonably priced and performed just as good as the more expensive equipment. Great value and look fantastic as well!
Bought as a spare as it was very well priced rod at $109. Have cast some 3-4 ounce lures and it handled them no worries. Would definitely recommend it. Packaging was second to none. Great customer service with notifications. Will definitely be purchasing from Freddy’s again

These are a great rod but not as good as the 762 Bream Finesse that they replaced. They don't have a full cork handle or a hook keeper any more. Still a great action for Whiting, Bream & Trout but I have landed Gummies & Kingfish to 10kgs with these as well.
