Don't listen to negative reviews. This product does exist. It is a 4 piece 9 foot rod built to fish 6 kilo. Great value for money. Super TRAVEL rod. Just add decent 5000 size reel and braid. Really lightweight outfit. Just be aware it is graphite so it's a bit stiff. Bait fishos might want something a bit softer. But throws plastics and squid jigs really well. Love mine!

Nice looking rod, metallic red woth cork handle.Being the light surf 4to8kg it has very high flex and whip. Have not tested with lures yet but can say that it would go a decent distance with minimal effort.Comes apart in 2 pcs but does not include carry or cover case.Lightweight and not heavy in the hands so can carry and cast for hours.

Awesome little rod, quite solid build quality. Casting 3 inch soft plastics in the creeks with ease. Caught small GTs and some mangrove jacks. Plenty of backbone, but still quite sensitive in the tip - even for a short rod. My local store can't keep these in stock. Highly recommended for people of all ages
Perfect rod for surfs fishing, the rod is much lighter compared to other beach fishing rod. I used Shimano vangard 5000 as the reel. Perfect combo for targeting sand whiting, australia salmon, and travelly even small pinkies.
This fishing rod, in my opinion. ticks all the boxes. I’ve used I’d for beach fishing, estuary fishing and jigging. It’s light so you feel the bite but can take a 35gm lure to get a good cast on the beach. If you have space for one rod when you’re travelling this is the one.
Surprisingly well made for a junior rod. I’m no kid (45) but wanted a rod for creeks and areas where there’s a lot of overhanging branches etc.. Does exactly what I want. Easy to flick around and very accurate. For a 3-6 kg rod the tip is extremely sensitive. It has a clearish tip that seems really light to begin with but toughens right up about halfway down. Can cast 2.5 to 3 inch plastics with no problems. Am going to get a spin version as well I’m that impressed.
Bought as a spare as it was very well priced rod at $109. Have cast some 3-4 ounce lures and it handled them no worries. Would definitely recommend it. Packaging was second to none. Great customer service with notifications. Will definitely be purchasing from Freddy’s again
Great rod for the price. It's light, works well with lures and is sensitive enough.Since Shimano discontinued their suitable travel tube it's very hard to find any case, bag or tube that's not more expensive than the rod.That only leaves it's inadequate sales packaging tube and attributes to the 4 stars.Delivery and service from the Fishing Tackle Shop were what you expect from any online sales site and i will return for my next stock up.Thanks guys.
This 4 piece rod feels great but the guides are weak. I bought one which had a cracked/loose bottom guide (biggest one) which I returned for replacement. However, the replacement, after only 1 tame fishing trip, had a cracked/loose bottom guide. I assume the resin surrounding the bottom guide is too week and easily cracked. Quite disappointed with this product but it's the only one that fits my need 4 piece, 9 ft.I have 2 other raider rods which I've had for several years and all of them still have solid guides. It might be okay for now, being the bottom guide, but this would be the first point of corrosion, and the guide will eventually fully break and fall off.
